Because of the close proximity to my home, I used to shop here often. After this last incident I will no longer spend money at this establishment.On 06/11/21 I went to the store to buy some hair for an upcoming appointment. I showed them the specific hair type that I needed and they were able to provide me with the pack hair but not the closure. They told me the brand of closure I was asking for did not exist and tried to sell me something else. I bought the two packs of hair and told them I would confirm with my hairstylist and return at a later time. On 06/14/21 I returned to purchase a closure, after speaking with my hairstylist, and was shown a variety of closures again. I reminded those helping me of what the stylist said I could and could not have. After going back and forth I was sold a closure and I headed to my appointment.As I was gathering the hair from the bag to take inside I noticed I was sold a frontal Swiss lace closure, a closure I told her I COULD NOT use.I brought the closure back to the store and asked to exchange it and was told I could not because it looked opened. I told them I had not opened it but they refused to honor the exchange policy they had on their receipt.She went further to tell me the pack looked bent. I advised her that they bent it when they put it in the plastic bag before they handed it to me. She continued to tell me I must have opened it because it looked a certain way. I said this is the exact way you sold it to me, the bag never left my car.I still have not opened the hair and will try to dispute the charge with my bank because they did not honor their exchange policy. Its very unfortunate that they would behave this way to a loyal customer. All I asked for was an exchange, not even a refund.

The prices and products are always on point. In the 2 years Ive lived in this neighborhood Ive not yet had to complain when I just need a personal boost and color does just the trick.

Staff is very rude, they will make you feel completely uncomfortable. I couldn’t browse peacefully without the light skinned lady with too much makeup on watching me. I felt so uncomfortable and welcomed I didn’t make my purchases I left. I don’t recommend anyone of color to shop at the store. You will be stalked.

My husband just left this place and the lady that was supposed to be helping him was rude as hell! He was trying to explain what he wanted and instead of letting him talk, she kept interrupting; and at one point told him she Didnt have time to be running back and forth in the store. (Basically the definition of CURBSIDE SERVICE). She hadnt even been in the store once for him yet! She heard me call her rude on the phone and proceeded to argue her point by saying she had been there 10 years. SO WHAT? I have been a nurse for 20 and if I treated my patients the way she did my husband, a PAYING CUSTOMER, I would be fired. With people out of work and beauty supply stores not really being ESSENTIAL, you would think people would be glad to have a job and treat people right!!!
