Over a foot of snow in Memphis? What? That fact alone does not bode well for automatic drive way gates . . and ours was not spared.Called Automatic Gates . . knowing a quick response and repair were unlikely given any number of Mid Southerners experiencing the same issue.Responsive, professional and quick to fix; our service technician was exceptional . . Although Automatic Gates did not install my Liftmaster swing gate, Hays was very responsive when I called asking for service. Two very pleasant and helpful technicians arrived the next morning, examined the gate functionality, and ensured that all was working. In addition, I appreciated their 30 day guarantee. Good job!

I had a problem with my automatic gate opening in the middle of the night. Automatic Gates came out the same day and fixed the problem. The tech was very helpful and courteous. They guarantee their work too.

I called at 10:10 AM, it is now noon. The problem is fixed and I am very happy with Mark. I am also happy to know the company is under new ownership. Had I known that 10 days ago, I would have called when ants caused the system to break down. I was told by another company that my system could not be fixed and was quoted $3200 to have it all working again. Automatic Gates did not install my gate (the company that did went out of business), but they have come multiple times to service it. They always come quickly and do a great job. I called this morning and Mark was out within a couple of hours and had it fixed right away. I would definitely recommend them!

I built my home in East Memphis 17 years ago. Had some problems with my gate off and on throughout the years and always received great service till today. I have my house on the market and because of the current weather the gate got stuck. The realtor called them today and they refused to get my name and address to have the gate checked. I guess they are too big/busy to bother with an old faithful customer . Very nonprofessional . Very disappointed .

I called this company today while in Memphis and the owner Jim Wyatt answered. I wanted to give him some business, because one of my customers needs a couple large industrial gates installed. I thought I would give the order to Mr. Wyatt.. Well, guess what, as soon as I told him who I am and started to talk, he said something like I dont want any and slammed the phone down. Sorry to report this - Very odd, strange. I would expect that they will be out of business soon.

Awful, rude customer service (Corinna). They have reworked the same issue on my gate numerous times and every time it gets more expensive to fix. No communication or explanation on the problem just that the next fix will cost more. Oh and they charge $125 to come look at the problem and then call you a liar when you explain the issues. We have always received prompt and fair service from Automatic Gates. On new years eve (2019) our gate broke due to a rusted through spot and was sitting on the ground unable to move. They came the day after new years and had the gate repaired. It was raining the entire day after New Years so I imagine they came and welded the repair gusset in place in the rain. We will continue to use them.

I’ve used Automatic Gates for years, and while operation problems do occur from time to time with my driveway gates, the company is fast to respond, always fixes the issue, even offers economic solutions when more expensive options may be available. I highly recommend them.

The receptionist was not friendly and after looking up an old service record told me my gate was probably obsolete. She didn’t even know what the probalen was!! She was supposed to talk to her supervisor and call me back to schedule an appointment within “the next day or two” and never did. ASAP came out within 2 hrs and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. The gate just needed some welding. Terrible customer service.

I MADE CONTACT WITH THIS COMPANY TEN DAYS AGO AND WAS CONTACTED ON THEIR BEHALF BY PAT TURNS OF WEST MEMPHIS FENCE COMPANY, WHICH WAS A BIT UNORTHODOX.IVE AWAITED AN ON-SITE APPOINTMENT WITH MR. TURNS X SEVEN DAYS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A QUOTE. MR. TURNS HAS NEVER APPEARED FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND NO FOLLOW-UP CONTACT HAS BEEN EXPERIENCED.WHEN THE OWNER OF AUTOMATIC GATES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY WAS CONTACTED RE THIS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IT WAS THAT HE WAS MUCH MORE CONCERNED WITH DEFENDING MR. TURNS FAILURE TO RENDER GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN WHAT HE WAS IN REDEEMING/RECOVERING MY PATRONAGE.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANY PERSON UTILIZE THE SERVICES OF AUTOMATIC GATES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY NOR WEST MEMPHIS FENCE. Stay away from these crooks! They charged me $626 to replace a sensor on a gate that can be bought online for $135. When I spoke with the owner of the company he was rude and dismissive telling me it wasnt his problem. Blatant overcharging and couldnt care less about it.
