I have never been to a Mexican market before. This place was AMAZING! Would definitely visit again if in the area!
Omgeeee!!! I was on the prowl to find authentic steak tacos like the ones I had when I was in Naperville, Illinois. I honestly didnt think I could find any that would taste as good as those because they were the best Id ever had but I was mistaken. The steak tacos at El Mercadito are 🔥🔥🔥!!!! Sooooo gooood!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. The guacamole and sauces were on point as well!!
I visit there for DYNASTY Beauty which is in the back of this place. I go there for eyebrows wax and Emmy is the best with henna,whatever brows!!!!

The food was soooooo good! We loved it. Very clean place to eat and they keep social distancing to the T! All tables have hand sanitizer and all the waitresses have masks. The bathrooms were really clean. Everything was great! Service was awsome, the waitress was always checking on us.I had a kidney transplant last year, so I have to be really careful where I go and where I eat. I felt so safe and comfortable here. We will be coming back soon. Already planning to come for my birthday in August!

This is my go to spot for authentic Mexican food. The staff is great and they really care about customer service.This place is tucked away from the main street but it is huge. It looks like this place is a mall with a restaurant in the back.We ordered take-out over the phone and was told 15 minutes. Food was hot and ready when we arrived.The Good. Food tasted great and was huge. Gorditas were tasty and the quesadillas were amazing. The burrito was also well worth the price. They do not use the gooey queso. They use like a grated cheese.This place is more authentic mexican food than Tex-mex. They use more veggies and thicker bread than tex-mex and they do not use much cheese. I prefer this authentic food.I will return.
The food here is fantastic. The salsa has and incredible bite with the freshness you look for with good quality vegetables. The vegetables in everything are always fresh. Taste like a the just got picked. They bring a red sauce and a green sauce to accommodate your spicy needs. My opinion red is the way to go. It taste great on everything. I strongly recommend the carnitas. The absolute best carnitas Ive ever paid for hands down. I eat here on a weekly basis. Very proud to have found this place. Its a hidden treasure.

The way I can describe this place is by saying this is a store within a store. Once you go in you will find your self in a place thats just like an expo. All types of items from house products to work clothes and work products.

Ordered ahead around 3:45 for a 5:30 delivery. When the food arrived I can only assume they started making it 3:45 because it was very cold and unappetizing when it arrived. The only redeeming grace was the cheese dip since I could reheat it. Unfortunately the rest of our meal wasn’t as reheatable and went uneaten. I don’t know how the dine-in experience is but I will not order delivery again.
15mins to closing... I called and asked if they had any soup, and they did!! Upon arriving with 10mins to spare, they heated soup and gave me the broth only(per my request) and when I say that broth was EVERYTHING!! It was that and more..special thanks to the angels that work here💕
If you want to see a little Mexico in Hickory Hill, visit this place. An excellent example of Mexicans spending money with Mexicans. Absolute unity. Black Americans take note.

This place has gotten smaller as the years progress. Spoken language is spanish. Has a great atmosphere. You can buy hats, shirts, pants, boots, pay phone bill, and eat at the restaurant. The resturant is my favorite part of the whole experience.
Great place to spend the evening with the family. As soon as you walk in there is a phone dealership, then there ate many ships set up for different needs. Work attire, dress cloths, make up, jewelry, cowboy boots, vitamins and remedies, and much more. Then ad you get to the back of the building there is a stage where live music plays and multiple desert places with a resteraunt. It even had an area for kids to play with slides and tubes for them to crawl in. Very nice atmosphere!

This place is legit Mexican food. The prices are unbelievably inexpensive for the quality of the food and great service. It isnt fancy and you might think it strange that it is in the back of a latin style indoor flea market, but if you are looking for great Mexican food at low prices, I highly recommend you go.

The place looked good. Barely any people shopping. The employs were nice, and asked if i needed anything. Other than that the only problem was everything seemed boring.

Its a neat little mexican market with some items and clothing you cant find anywhere else in Memphis. They also have q decent restaurant, a snack stand and a icecream stand which are all authentically mexican. Its just a nice tiny taste of what a real mexican market is.
The food was not the best. It was too greasy and no flavor for my taste. Service was good, the lady was very tentative. Came by every 10-20 minutes to check on us.They charge you for refills which I have always disliked in any restaurant.

Called in to make a to go order. Asked for a chorizo egg and bean taco, repeatedly got asked what I wanted, ask if it was a quesadilla I was asking for. Even describe chorizo, egg and beans in a tortilla please. Still didnt understand.How do you not know what a taco is....

Genuine, authentic, Mexican food. This is not the cookie-cutter style Mexican restaurant. This place serves the best tacos de lengua, trompo, tripa, carne asada and much much more along with a tasty tamarind drink.
