Very quick service, when pull in.

I ordered a pocket door from this establishment in January of 2021 I was told it would take 3 weeks after several calls today I was told by Mr.jacob nabors that my door was complete and ready to be picked up.I drove from forest hill irene and 385 to have just a frame loaded on my truck,when I asked about the slab I was directed into the office where I was told the door didnt come in it would be another3 weeks so I requested a refund then I was told that I would only be refunded 109.00 of 310.00 for a mistake that was made by gates lumber and confirmed by Mr.jacob.After dealing with a very nasty attitude from Mr.jacob I will not be doing business with gates and I recommend everyone else to check other lumber companies before you use gates

Don’t judge a book by its cover - outside this place looked a bit “humble”, but they have a beautiful showroom and had trim in stock that others in town did not carry at all. Great fast friendly service!

Unfortunately my experience with Gates Lumber has not been positive. Doors and a window were measured and delivered incorrectly. I was also able to find the exact same window at a local home improvement store for $200 less. One set of doors is still leaking and while we were told we would be taken care of I have yet to hear back from anyone at Gates Lumber even after numerous e-mails and phone calls. I hope they make good on their word.Up-date: After numerous e-mails and phone calls we finally did receive the monetary credit owed to us for the incorrect size of doors, which required more work then expected on the initial installation. We were told Gates Lumber will help us in any way if we have any future issues with the doors which were still leaking. They have come out twice to adjust the doors, hopefully the issues have been corrected.
