The service department got me in on a tight schedule before a last-minute road trip. They got the bike ready and recommended a few extra items that should be taken care of before heading out. Keith is a wealth of knowledge and always friendly and helpful.

Easy to find location, friendly, great service!

September 23, 2021-Thursday, 10:45amI stopped in to get a new front tire on my 2015 Dyna Wide Glide. I went to the service department and they treated me like they were expecting me. There was no wait time before they got started on my bike. I was quoted about 2hrs before they would finished. 45 min later i was ready to go!

The dealership is well kept, and clean. Unfortunately when I come in every single salesman working is hanging around the front desk talking to whatever attractive girl is working the desk at the time so theyre ready and available to bombard you with an attempt to sell you a motorcycle. I ride cross country a lot and rarely do I get that experience unless Im actually looking at a bike on the sales floor, and for that reason I avoid this dealership as often as I can. Fortunately they have chosen to make that an easy decision by closing at 5 every single day of the week, in a town that a surprising amount of the population works at night, and sleeps during the day, and otherwise work a day shift you cant actually make it anywhere by 5 I cant understand why in the world that would be a good idea. Maybe even just one day a week stay until 7. My next bike probably wont be a Harley because they wont be open for me to even purchase one.

I have always had good luck here until I bought a out of state bike with the Harley dealer standard maintenance package. I went in for my first service and an the first thing the service manager (Reggie) told me was we dont really honor that program. I was told my options were to pay up front and go to the company for reimbursement or they hold my bike until they are paid in full by the program under writer. I called the dealership that I bought it from (Redstone Arsenal HD) and told them what is going on. They said NO! this is a nation wide program. Long story short the two went back and fourth over two weeks later I finally get my motorcycle back. Over two weeks for an oil change. They told me that next service the other dealership will not cover the bill. I told them thats fine, I am a mechanic and your service department will never see this bike again. So buyer beware if you think your going to get your bike serviced there with the paid program.

They have had my bike since April and still getting the run around. I wont be back after I get my bike. Now they are saying sometime in September. Going to miss the whole entire summer. 6 months do it even take that long to build one. I will be posting every single day until.Parts and labor already paid for

I came in two days in a row this will be my second purchase from Bumpus of Memphis and my sales guy Jonathan Garner he is the most laid back person I have the privilege to have a sales person the staff is great your family not just a customer when you walk in. Jonathan will listen to what you want and do everything he can to make it happen thanks to the bumpus family of Memphis on my new purchase of a 2021 Road King and a BIG Thanks to Jonathan.P.SI am that one customer most would not want to help I can’t stay focused long enough to not be bouncing around and figure what I want. I recently purchased a CVO model from Bumpus H-D Memphis. My sales person Jonathan G. worked the deal getting me a great value on my trade-in which was a sweet Street Glide…. And on to a new CVO which is a really sweet ride. Overall I’m pleased and enjoying my new ride.

My family has been loyal customers since the mid-80s when Bumpus opened. Great service and friendly knowledgeable staff every time. Weve bought numerous bikes at Bumpus over the years and never had anything less than awesome experiences.

Customer service is top notch. I recently destroyed one of my favorite shirts that was purchased from Bumpus Harley-Davidson Memphis and my wife wanted to replace it. She emailed to company and asked for information on how we could purchase another shirt. My wife then received a return call from Val. Val helped my wife by sending her multiple pictures of shirts that they had in inventory and picked one from those pictures. (My wife told Val she didnt need to send all the pictures) but Val insisted because she wanted her to be happy with her purchase. Long story short, my wife received the shirt and was very happy with the customer service that she received from Val . Val went above an beyond to help my wife. I will say this, I live in Pensacola so if I ever decide to trade and by another scooter I will probably do businesses with Bumpus Harley-Davidson Memphis. Great Job Val!

Came in looking to trade in my sportster for a street glide. Hunter was there to show me many street glides both new and used. When I found the one that I wanted, Hunter was very knowledgeable of the bike and walked me through the bike from the handle bars to the tires and answered every question that I had. 10/10 recommend.

This place hosts a motorcycle driver course. Dan does a great job. I however am telling you to avoid Dave. He is a horrible instructor. I ate the 300$ cost rather than go back with him another day and will be going somewhere else to retake the course. He is that bad.So if you do take your class here make sure you know who your instructors are first so you don’t throw money out like I did.

We were out for a ride on a Saturday and my front brake wasnt working right. My husband called Bumpus Whitten Road and Keith said to bring it in. They took it right back and soon found out my caliper was bad and needed replaced. Keith recommended it would be best to leave it because it really wouldnt safe to ride. He told us it could possibly be 2 weeks until the part came in. We were there the following Friday to pick it up. We also had it serviced while there. Great work guys in the shop and thank you Keith for your kind & professional service. It was a pleasure to work with you!

Came in for a gasket and also bought a Jacket!!, been eyeing a new Harley jacket for awhile just hadnt pulled the trigger, came in to buy rocker box gaskets and they were very quick and helpful, and had already checked out, but my wife was doing a little shopping and Came across the Commad jacket in mens leather and it was the last one, and in my size, my wife and your sales lady were very helpful in finalizing my decision on this buy, love the jacket! parts were right on as well, thanks Bumpus H-D very nice experience. Home Sweet Home. Broke down in West Memphis. A phone call to Tony in the service dept. and Danny was there to pick me up. Roy went right to work on front wheel bearings. Roy showed me some seeping from rear wheel bearings got those changed also. Great jobBumpus Service Dept!

Buyer beware!I purchased a bike from the Bumpus dealer in Collierville, that is now closed (not surprised).I purchased my bike from JT. This person made so many promises that he did not live up to. The bike I purchased was originally at the Memphis location; I was there ready to buy it but he asked me to come to his location (Collierville) for the purchased and promised the bike would be transferred over for me to drive it off his location. It didn’t make sense, but I went along with it. He also promised he would get me a “free helmet”, he made this promise twice. Now I understand why he wanted this, he was more worried about his commission than the customer.I drive all the way over to the Collierville location but the bike is not there, he claimed the person who picks up the bikes “had to leave early”. I continue the purchase anyway (I should’ve left), of course he waited until the signing process to let me know. When it’s time to pick my helmet, all of the sudden “there’s been a misunderstanding”. He claimed he only meant he could give me a $75 credit towards a helmet. Another lie. In the end, I had to drive all the way back to Memphis to pick up my bike - they, of course didn’t pay me for the additional fuel it took for me to drive all over Memphis.It took me a while to write this review. The more I thought of JT’s unethical practices, the more it motivated me to let people out there know what kinda salesperson he is. I reached out to management, they never called me back. By not addressing his behavior, they must support it.Getting my plates was a terrible experience as well. It took them over 4 months to get my plates. I had to reach out to them for my plates multiple times. Again, terrible! I have the emails to prove their unprofessional behavior.I’m not surprised they closed their location in Collierville; again, if he did it to me, he’s doing it to other people. I will NEVER step foot in any Bumpus businesses ever.Bumpus Leadership: I’m still waiting for you to call me. When you’re ready to hear me out and read the emails of your people, let me know.

Hands down one of the best Harley-Davidsons Ive ever been in. The prices are excellent and their staff is helpful and more important extremely knowledgeable. I cannot say enough nice things about the parts department.... They really know their stuff and are very easy to work with.

My uncle used to spend all his time there with his daughter. He passed in March of 2017 and had a balloon release the following Summer. I bought a vest from there this past March and the staff was super friendly. I most definitely recommend purchasing merchandise from this location.

We walked in to check out a bikes as a weekend date and left with a bike. Zach is professional and such a good guy to work with! He explained everything so we could understand. We left feeling like family. We will be back! Thank you Zach and Andrea for being rockstars and making this the least painful bike buying experience to date!

I am posting this because I have had nothing but poor customer service from you/business. I appreciate everything you did for me when I purchased my bike, but after I road off it has gone downhill. There was even issues when I took my bike in for its first maintenance check. What should have been a few hours on a Saturday turned into my bike having to be left for a week and it still wasnt done when I went back that next Saturday. With the wreck, there was nothing but problem after problem. When I brought my bike in because of the wreck, I wasnt notified any parts needed to fix the bike. When I went in to sign the insurance check, the check couldnt be found. There was also and issue with the parts guy saying insurance didnt cut a big enough check - but he was wrong. I was told a new gas tank would be needed, they ordered it but it wasnt needed. However I had to take it because it was ordered. I got nothing but attitude on any call I received. The parts guy played stupid with all these problems. Then I looked the bike over before leaving and found scratches still on the left fork. I refuse to take my bike back to Bumpus on Whitten Rd, nor do I have the energy to put up with their idiotic stupidity anymore. You can tell the Bumpus brothers I will not return, and will inform people about this poor customer experience.

Very dissatisfied customer. Come in off of the rode to get a tire on my brothers bike. Ended up needing 2 and we got 2 oil changes on the other 2 bikes. They took 8 1/2 hours to complete. And knew it was going to be raining soon. No hurry, no rush just plain lazy slow people here. If at all possible take bike elsewhere. They are extremly slow no kinda hustle what so ever here. Except to hustle you put of your hard earned money. We got there at 9:04 am no other customers in front of us. They did not complete work until around 4:30pm. Good luck

Had some work done a while ago, did not go very smoothly, but vacation was up and had to get back to Vegas. Tyler (Service Mgr) said he would get correct parts and ship to my Vegas dealer and cover the cost. Back in Vegas, it turns out that the service tech who had worked on my bike at Bumpus had done more damage than good. Bike needed extensive repair and Tyler took care of everything, paying my Vegas dealer to correct mistake, at some cost to Bumpus. Now in Memphis full time and happy to allow Bumpus to be my new hometown dealer. Thanks Tyler for all your help, J.R. Atoka, TN

I recently purchased the heated dual source waterproof jacket, pants and gloves from Bumpus H-D Memphis to extend my riding season. Michelle helped me with the questions I had when deciding which gear to buy. Thanks because this turned out to be the right gear for me. It is nice staying warm at 70mph when it is 25 degrees outside.
