You can’t go wrong bringing your vehicle here! Period. I hadn’t been here previous to last week and had no idea how the service was other than the reviews that were online. I must say that this place has 5 stars for a reason. Their service was much faster than they estimated, their hours cater to last minute or urgent repairs, they explained what they needed to repair on my vehicle, and I feel as though I payed a very fair price for the work that was done. GREAT business and I look forward to bringing my business to them again in the future.

Amazing service! Our alternator went out as we were passing through town. Just happened to get off on Dodd rd, as as the car shut off, was able to coast into their parking lot. Didnt know what to expect, but also didnt really have any options. They were super friendly and helpful from the start. The pricing was clear from the beginning (and cheaper than we expected), they shifted their schedule around to accommodate for us needing to get out of town quick, and they even threw in a free oil change. As the car was dead in their lot, I expected to have to pay for towing service or something, but there were no extra charges. And after we left the owner texted me to offer another free oil change next time we are in the area. Really nice folks. Really great service. Highly recommended!

Sean Hoffman is a great Manager and person in general, always willing to help. Doug Is an amazing mechanic and friendly guy. Definitely a neighborhood place. I recommend it for auto service or just to stop in for the gas station and some convenience supplies.

As a previous Employee I can tell you that Its a friendly, professional shop. Full serve for those who have handicaps, great manager and Mechanic staff. Anytime I had a problem with my car they were straight forward and fixed the problem, and also work with you when in a tight spot. If you need to drop it and get a ride home or to work they will transport if distance is reasonable. Ive had great experience as an employee helping people and as a customer. Having a gas station that does quality auto repair in your neighborhood is a big plus. Mendota Heights Auto Repair has serviced my car for the 3 years Ive lived in the Twin Cities and always provided me with timely service at a fair price. I want there for an oil change a few weeks ago. They have reasonable prices. Dropped my car off around 10am and they had it back to me in no time. They were very kind and courteous. They told me about things I needed to have done to the car eventually but did not try to push me to have it done right away. I defiantly will be back again.

Recently had my car break down by their place, so I called them up for a tow. They were very friendly, and quick to pick up. Cheap tow rates. Very knowledgeable staff that was capable of providing me the necessary information that I needed to do the repair myself. Fair and modest prices, quote for parts were expensive (but it was expected for my car) they didnt pressure me on anything. I ended up doing the repair they recommended myself, and everything worked great- spot on diagnosis (~1hour labor). Would definitely recommend for anyone.

Doug provided a quick diagnosis, called me up to explain the situation, made the repair and I was on my way the same day for much less cost than I expected. He knows what he is doing to figure out this problem so quickly. He was also kind enough to talk to me about this car/engine after the repair was completed. Based on this visit, I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my family, friends and neighbors.

Seriously amazing customer service. I have taken two different cars here several times, and every time they are extremely honest with me. As a young female who knows nothing about cars, I am used to auto shops charging me for things I didnt need, or lying about problems that dont exist just to get my money from me.
