Went in to purchase a laptop. Had 6 different sales reps approach us during that time. We ended up finding a laptop on their website, not on display in store, for a better deal. The associate had to look through several cabinets to find it but was very pleasant. Were very happy with our purchase!

Lots of stuff, sometimes I have trouble finding what I want. Sales people are friendly and helpful and exchanges are simple even if it was you that bought the wrong cable.

Employees are all very helpful when not standing around talking to each other or playing on their cell phones. They have alot of different options for products though they didnt have a network cable I needed. I still enjoy coming though my most recent visit wasnt the best.
Purchased a 2 album set for present and when opened only 1 album inside. Trying to make exchange to long a story to write. Only bright light was i assume a front end lead or manager as he was called over to sort it out. He called other stores to help us find another but they failed to even answer the phone. I had not been there for a few years. Place has gone so down hill.
Inconsistent based upon department. Appliances are good, help is spotty. Theres definitely a lack of experience going on. Ill take it as a sign of the times.

Went here to buy a new laptop for my wife. The staff was engaging, friendly, super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone time I stopped to look at something different a new staff member was there to ensure I didnt have any question, and would talk through reviews, specs, and comparisons which was really appreciated considering the price of electronics I wanted to ensure I got something suitable to my wifes needs.
The guy who helped us truly didnt know anything more than we did about the product we needed help with. We had questions and he couldnt answer them. He didnt do anything more than read what was written on the box. We did that on our OWN before we even ASKED for assistance. Needless to say, we ended up paying twice as much for a product we ended up not being able to use and will have to return.
There is no reason to spend your hard earned money in this store. Every product can be bought cheaper on Amazon or found at local electronics stores for sometimes less than half the price. They have a measley 15 day return policy. My mom spent $250 on a Chromebook for my bday and got it less than 30 days prior thinking if I needed to return it I could. Well they wouldnt accept it. The Chromebook was untouched in original box and plastic. After Cullen in customer service examined it (every square inch of it) thoroughly and watched my mom desperately search for her recipe for 15 minutes before telling her they can look it up using her phone number, he informed us that he would not do the return even though we were actually just exchanging it for another Chromebook. Buy on Amazon. Save your money, get a real return policy.

We ordered an LG Washer from BBY. We received a delivery date and a window of 5 hours (12-5PM). My 80 year old mom was waiting for the delivery. I received a text that the tech was on their way and would arrive at 2:20PM so I notified my mom (we are 160 miles away from each other). 2:20 came and went. Finally, at 5PM, I called BBY Geek squad to see where the washer was. After a number of minutes waiting while the CS rep tried to figure out what was going on, he told me that the washer never made it to the warehouse the day before. So the installation was cancelled but no one bothered to notify me nor my mom. No call. No text. Nothing. My 80 year old mom spent the entire day waiting for a washer installation that was never going to happen. Next the CS rep told me that we would have to wait another 5 days for the washer to arrive at the warehouse and one additional day to get it delivered and installed. We had already waited 5 days to receive the washer on the original delivery date. I asked the CS rep of this was good customer service especially since I am a BBY Elite member. Obviously, he agreed that it was unacceptable and he said he would provide us compensation for our trouble. I appreciated that so I asked what the compensation would be. He told me the only option was a gift card and he couldnt tell me the amount until after the washer was delivered and installed! I expressed concern that the compensation was a gift card and asked for a discount on the washer price instead. He said that they could not change the price of the washer. So basically, the compensation really doesnt do anything for my mom because she rarely needs items from BBY (at 80 years old, she is not the perfect demographic for BBY). It also really doesnt impact BBY to offer a gift card. Basically, you are just delaying the revenue a bit by issuing a gift card. The fact that you wouldnt tell me how much the compensation would be until we installed the washer was insulting as well. To add insult to injury, I was told by the CS rep that I had to call back into BBY and manually ask for the gift card after the installation. There was no way to have it issued automatically after the washer was installed. The CS rep said that I had to call back and provide a ticket number in order to obtain the amount and have the gift card issued. I asked the CS rep to send me the ticket number via email or text so I had it and didnt write it down incorrectly. Nope - CS Rep cant send an email nor send a text. So, the hope is that the customer will forget to manually call back and request the compensation and perhaps lose the ticket number so they cant claim the compensation. I asked to speak to someone that could make changes to the above but was told that they would provide the same info that the CS Rep had provided. On the positive side, the CS rep was very courteous despite my frustration and the inadequate customer service that his company was offering me. I hope this info gets back to appropriate BBY management in the hope that changes are made and a review of what happened with the order and the communication of that order is done.

These people work hard and shouldnt be taking time to teach you how a computer works... even though they could.Knowing what you want helps both them and you getting the best service.

I’ll never purchase a thing from Best Buy again. Bought an Xbox series s with a digital game pass. They sent the game pass right away which I’ll never use because I had to cancel the order. What a scam. Send the game pass a week before the Xbox to screw the customer over if they have to cancel. Not like I’ve shopped at Best Buy in the past 10 years anyway and now I see why.. I’m a nice guy, keep the $50, I’ll pour out some beer for you when your out of business within the next 5 years lmao. Just remember Best Buy employees… Walmart is hiring at $15/hr

Ordered a new stove online for pick up. All went fairly quick and easy. I must say though, the employees seemed rather distant and unfriendly. The man at the service counter at least asked how we were and took care of the transaction. But when the two gentleman wheeled the stove to the truck, neither said anything, just hoisted into to our truck bed, said Your welcome when I said Thank you, and walked away. I like supporting physical stores over internet behemoths but the Amazon delivery staff that bring stuff to my door are way more friendly and courteous.

Went to buy a smart tv and went to find an associate that maybe could help locate other sizes or even help with prices but the one walking around near this area was more occupied looking and using his phone more. Ignored me and my husbands yells for assistance. We literally had to walk really close to him to get his attention to help us. Greeter was great had great service help directed us where we needed to go and cashier had great customer service asked questions for extended services for our product we bought. Over all good service from the other employees.
I Google what I needed.A converter cable from coaxial to HDMI.It showed that I could get it here but when I got to the store the geek told me that they did not have it.Guess I will have to get it on line.I try to support local business but it is hard to do when they d out have what you need!

First time visiting this place since the pandemic and unfortunately they too no longer require employees to demonstrate any kind of customer service skills. That was their signature at one time. You just knew someone would becoming to ask if you need help but not anymore. They have a third of the usual inventory. Just wasnt the same. Hopefully as we get back to normal so will our retailers because I refuse to accept subpar to none existent customer service as well as poor inventory and inflated prices. I will simply not make a purchase.

Idk if its just me, but Best Buys floor staff isnt very helpful. Its like pulling teeth trying getting assistance. There are some dedicated staff members who are genuinely busy with other customers, but others will politely point you in the direction of what you asked for, rather than walk you directly to it and answer any questions you may have. This store was no exception. A few staff members talked amongst themselves without acknowledging customers who clearly needed help finding things, and not one person asked if I needed help as I walked in circles looking for a product for over 30 min. Each person I asked kinda brushed me off. One gentleman even seemed to purposely elude me! Each time we made eye contact he would change directions or start looking in his phone like he could tell I needed help, but he really didnt want me to ask him anything. This happened 3 times! I mustve been right because funny when I finally stopped him, he told me I had to get in que to get assistance. What I needed was nearby and he helped me find it quickly, but customer service is terrible here. (Except for the greeter. He was kind)

Worst customer service ever! 4 employees were standing around talking about how cool they are doing nothing. Needed to buy 2 radios and installation. They told me they couldnt help me unless I checked in at the front desk. Needless to say I just left. Then I called several times and sat on hold for 15min first time and 20 minutes the second time.
Nothing wrong with the employees just the company as a whole.
Spoke to someone regarding car audio installation. Did not sound confident about their installation skills and overall seemed extremely bummed out about having to install car audio with a higher degree of difficulty. Will cancel appointment that had already been made for actual installation as an appointment has already been made with a local company for a higher price, however the cost is worth paying for the much much much MUCH higher knowledge base along with having the job done by someone that has a passion for installing car audio, along with someone that knows and installs nothing but the highest quality. The techs at BB were just going to go forward with the installation of 2 subwoofers under the seat. The techs I spoke to AFTER the Geek Squad techs at Best Buy were located at a shop called Stereo Installs in Mentor on Tyler Blvd and they immediately advised me that while the speakers I was thinking of purchasing would indeed work, they would be disappointing as they had recently assisted a customer with a similar installation of the same off brand subwoofers. So, I agreed to buy a more expensive, higher quality brand that has always been known to be a little on the pricey side, but has also always been known for their quality since I became interested in Car Audio over 20 years ago. They offered to do the install, told me where they would recommend installing the woofer/amp/box because it would work best, and scheduled my appointment 2 days earlier than Best Buy and did it in a way that conveyed that they appreciated my business.

Since the shopping experience though the communication has been inconsistent from the delivery team. This could be contributed to the current pandemic but its been frustrating none the less.
Not sure what best buy overall plan is. I used to get DVDs and other items here RIP MP3 player). Its so empty. They sell fridges. And phones but not tv stands to hold playstation and the DVD players they sell. Their online catalog is much better than the brick and mortar store but online prices cant compete with other only online markets. So Ive now been in here 3 times and purchased nothing since they carry mostly things to link into siri, alexia and okay google and not things I wanted or needed like cool amiibos, entertainment systems, 7.0 speaker systems, dvd, anime computer parts. micro center down a few more exits has much better selections on computer and build your own gaming hardware.
I had a very pleasant experience. The workers there knew what they were talking about, and they were very polite. I walked in wanting to buy a computer, and came out happy, with a nice computer.They store overall is clean and organized. It was quiet and peaceful. I felt happy shopping here.
Went here about a year ago to get a new phone. A staff member helped me and pointed me in the right direction when looking at all my options. They made it quick and easy when I had to transfer all my data to the new phone! I was highly impressed!

For some reason I decided to buy an item from Best Buy when I could’ve bought it from Amazon because Best Buy told me I could pick it up same day. Well we’re here at the same day and nobody will even answer the phone so that I can determine the status of my order.The lack of customer service will definitely lead me to never spend money at this poorly run store again. Generally the lack of customer service comes from the top down so I’m sure the manager of this store is responsible for this unprofessional and ignorant response from this store’s employees.If you’re looking for any sort of responsiveness or even general customer service definitely don’t spend your money here.

Recently some of my Appliances bit the dust. Went looking all around town for replacements. Our last stop was Best Buy. We met a wonderful lady named Mercedes who helped out tremendously. As a husband you can imagine by the end of the day appliance shopping I was less than thrilled. She made it a smooth fast and simple trip. Right to the point, she was friendly as can be and knew her stuff. We got exactly what we wanted and for a bargain too. All the other stores in town had delivery dates as early as next month which did not work as we have dead appliances and a family. Best Buy got what we wanted and with a 1 week delivery. This experience could not have gone any better. My one and only complaint is this was not the first place I went to. It would of saved me the headache.

Store doesnt open til 11am. Store is not accepting phone calls. Took my laptop in to Geek Squad. Told me it was fixed but it wasnt so I left it there (again) to get fixed. They closed out the ticket. Never opened a new repair ticket. Said it was picked up but it hadnt been. A real pain. However, they did get my laptop fixed although it was not an easy transaction.
Friendly, helpful staff. Selection was pretty good considering the pandemic. All employees were wearing appropriate masks and following guidelines. Store was clean and they had a hand sanitizing station for guests. I will definitely go back. They made my family feel welcome.

They say that online shopping is killing retail. It feels more like retails wounds are all self inflicted. Zero customer service. No selection of anything. Zero energy to the store. Felt like walking into an electronics funeral. Walked. Took a lap hit the restroom. Walked around again and gave up.
I had to go into Best Buy today to pickup an item and couldnt have been happier with the experience. They had a great setup for social distancing and although there were a lot of people in the store, it didnt feel crowded at all. Also, I have to mention that on their credit card reader there was a sticker that says Press red for credit. Everytime I use a credit card reader I have to guess or ask what buttons I have to push. Its very annoying. I appreciate the heads up! Thank you Mentor Best Buy!!!

Ordered a microwave for curbside. Said pickup was same day. Drove from Erie, Pa to get it....Got there and it wasnt ready yet and no one is around. Cant contact anyone because they dont pick up the phone. Bad customer service. Canceling the order. Bought it somewhere else. Wont go here again.

Every online order I have made has always had an issue with this location.1-ordered a fridge online. It paid for it to be delivered and the haul away of the old fridge. Waterline from the old ones ice maker was still hooked up so they did not install or take the old one. Bad on me forgetting that line was still connected. However they did not remove the installation/haul away charge. No response when I emailed customer service. On top of that they had actually left my significant other between the old fridge and the new. Which if she didnt have a spinal fusion ok she could push it out of the way, but she has that disability. If the teenage kid was not home to help she would have been stuck until I returned from work.2. Purchased a few gifts with ship to store option. After getting confirmation it was ready I stopped by then proceeded to wait about 30 minutes while they found the order. Which they did not and ended up just going and grabbing items off the store floor after 20 minutes of looking. Similar situation this past time as well but it only took five minutes but there still seemed to be confusion on where items were. Just go pick up your own items or ship to home it will be MUCH quicker. Fella next to me also picked up a shop to store open box TV. He had to ask for a remote rather than them making sure it was there before trying to send h on his way. To their credit they went and got him a brand new remote with little hassle, its just concerning he had to catch that.Long story short they did not refund me for a service not provided and there ship to store seems to need work on its logistics.I think their issues are either poor standards set by corporate. Or training is lacking. The employees seem fine(not including the folks that left her between 2 fridges) and I can see their frustration from not being able to provide the service they themselves would want.Please work on this your gave happier employees and even better happy customers that want to choose this location rather than settling for this location

Best Buy (all locations) is the worst place to go if you need actual help. This store might as well be a self service store. Never any employees on the sales floor and the ones you can hunt down don’t seem to know any more than you do. So disappointing. I won’t be giving Best Buy any more of my business. I’ve tried 3 different locations. I’ll just have to travel to go to micro center.

Not happy at the fact that how many times I had to go there with issue after issue popping up all of a sudden. Issues couldn’t get figured out and I had to keep buying and returning products due to being told contradicting things about this or that. The answer I needed ended up getting answered by going online and getting a guy on discord to help out, despite being told by those that worked at Best Buy it most likely wouldn’t work or there would be interference. Turns out the guy was right and it fixed my issues with my connection so with all the visits I had to make and stuff I had to buy and than take back or trade in. I’m not exactly happy at having gone through all that.
