Worked with Bryan Walker on a recommendation from a friend to purchase my new Mazda CX-5. Bryan was awesome to work with he was extremely friendly and very through with his explanations with all the functions of the cars he showed me. Ended up looking at several different cars (Mazda 3/6, CX-5, used Honda Accord) and he was very patient as I looked over each car as I hadnt looked at a Mazda or Honda before. The rest of the Mazda team was very friendly and helpful as well. Overall the experience was extremely good and surprisingly smooth for purchasing a car. Highly recommend. I am looking forward to a continued relationship with Classic Mazda and recommending friends and family to them after Mentor Mitsubishi went under during Covid. So if you are looking for a new car I recommend coming here and trying out a Mazda very nice cars and I also recommend Bryan Walker as a sales rep as he made the experience easy and smooth.

Daniel Pavilonis appeared to my wife and me as we exited our Cadillac to search for a new car for me. The first car I drove became the one I drove home 7 hours later after visiting every dealership in Mentor. He was the reason I drove home a beautiful blue mica 2018 Mazda 3 Sport with low Low LOW miles (the same price as the identical car at the neigboring competitor that had THREE TIMES the miles on it). Mine is Certified Pre-Owned with extra warranties to boot!!! Thanks Danny!! I recommend all to Classic Mazda in Mentor Ohio, and this consummate sales professional, as the experience was truly memorable. Not only my salesman, Phil, but everyone at Classic Mazda was so helpful during my experience. This was the first time I was purchasing a brand new car and they made the process so smooth. I told Phil right away that I was looking at other brands outside of Classic and he was not pushy in anyway for me to purchase from him. I am impressed by and grateful for the professional care and friendly response to an out of town Mazda owners need for immediate service. I called to ask if they could squeeze my car in because the engine light had just come on (mile number 466 of a 784 mile day on the road) and that I was on the road heading home with many miles to go. After a quick check with the service manager, they said to come in as soon as I could get there. My car was in a service bay within 10 minutes of arriving and the manager could not have been kinder and more supportive.The dealership itself was clean, provided a spacious and comfortable waiting area, and had fresh fruit and beverages for customers. Everywhere I loooked, the customer experience was kept in mind. I am so impressed by this dealership!After a minor fix, my car was all set. I was able to continue on my long journey home with the peace of mind that it had been serviced and checked by a quality facility and teamI have never had a more positive dealership service experience! This is by far the best car buying experience I have had. James Joseph was our sales person and he made the experience very easy for us. We started the process on line on a Wednesday evening and we ended up driving 4 hours to test drive the car on Friday morning. The last car I purchased took close to 4 hours to complete the process. We arrived at the dealership at 9:30 and were gone by 11:30. Thank you to Classic Mazda and James Joseph for a great experience.

We drive just about an hour to do business with Classic Mazda, and even more specifically with Phil. Are there Mazda dealers closer to us? You bet. We’ve been to them, and none of them come even CLOSE to the quality of service we get at Classic Mazda. We always interact with Phil, and I am being honest when I say, we won’t go to anyone else. He feels like a friend who also happens to sell the cars that you like, we actually look forward to seeing him when it’s time to come in. He’s patient, honest and practical, and answers any question you could have about the car you are looking at. The only reason I gave two stars was because the general manager was great, and professional. Nick crea, on the other hand, way unprofessional. I honestly wasn’t gonna write a review until he copped an attitude with me. I had been discussing selling my car (21 CX-30) for roughly a week, give or take a couple days. I decided to do it, when I went into the dealership is only when he finally mentioned it would take time for you to get money for selling your car. I went ahead anyways; at the end I told him just for future references you might want to mention to sellers ahead of time they won’t get money same day. After that he had an attitude with me. So sellers beware, if you’re expecting cash the day you sell your car, I’d go to a different dealership, Nissan gives cash same day, so does Kia in North Olmsted. I will say they did get my check fast, though.

I am totally happy with Classic Mazda and Jeff B. since he very receptive to my needs! I did not have a lot of time to get another lease which makes me wonder why I went with Nissan for my previous lease. That will not happen again! I found my next dealer for the future. They were not high-pressure sales which is great for a consumer like me. On top of it all, they advertised and leased the car the same price. So no lies or loopholes which is almost unheard of at a car dealer. So bottom line ..... I have found my dealer. Jeff B. was very helpful which which is what you would want from a salesman!

Dropped of my 2017 Miata RF to have a new FOB registered. The previous owner had lost one of the FOBs and I had tried to have a Mazda FOB registered by a locksmith and it set the Keyless Entry Malfunction indicator lamp. I told the service representative (SR) about the issue and they stated since my new FOB was purchased from an online Mazda dealer (much cheaper than purchasing from Classics Parts Department) they couldnt guarantee it would work, even though it was a 100% OEM Mazda FOB. For this service, the SR quoted me $98 for the programming/registering of the new FOB so I scheduled an appointment.Fast forward to the service day, and after the service department had my car for 35 minutes, I am told by the SR that it will now cost me $140 instead of $98 for the programming since the technician had to delete my old FOB key code from the start-stop unit (SSU).Really, $140 for a few additional key strokes within the Mazda service software?Deleting the old FOB key code should be required anyway since the old FOB was lost. Why would Mazda not delete a lost FOB from the electronic SSU as part of the normal practice since the old FOB (if found) could be used to steal the car...It seems a 40% increase in quoted fees after the fact is way overboard for a simple keystroke to delete the previous key codes and then reprogram/reregister the new FOB...Needless to say, I am very weary about having them perform any work on my Miata RF on my own nickel since they are so free with my wallet.

As a first time NEW CAR buyer the team at Mazda made my experience so comfortable and exciting rather than nerve racking. Daniel my sales professional walked me through all the differences between the available Mazda 3 sedans with integrity, honesty, and fairness. I was treated like a person making a major life decision rather than a dollar sign. While Mazda typically doesn’t come down far on sticker price, I found that the particular model I walked away with was actually underpriced compared to if I built the same model with every feature on Mazda USA. Furthermore Bob the sales manager helped me to negotiate a final offer that was even better than sticker. And Kevin, boy oh boy Kevin my financial advisor not only did he help me find the perfect 100,000 mile major component warranty at an amazing price, but he saved me a massive headache by showing me ALL the fine print. Ask for Kevin and you’ll know what I mean! All and all with 1.9 APR and the amazing team at classic there’s a reason there are now FOUR yep count em 4 Mazdas sitting in our family home driveway. I couldn’t be happier with the features I have making my commute to work something I’ll enjoy for the next 10-12 years at least! Thank you Classic Mazda!

I live in Reno, Nevada. Due to the chip shortage, it raised vehicle prices on the west coast to record highs. I looked nationwide on Cargurus and found an amazing deal for a 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD at CLASSIC MAZDA.Leland Velazquez was my salesman and he did an amazing job and was very professional. Purchasing a vehicle site unseen was very nerve wracking but he made the process very smooth and answered all my questions. I worked with John. He continuously kept me informed on the status of my vehicle throughout the entire process. I greatly appreciated how thorough he was in explaining everything to me. RETRACTING MY EARLIER 5-STAR RATING TO A 1 STAR RATING:I still stand by my review regarding the car salesmen. Awesome. However, Ive decided to change my rating from 5-stars to 1-star following two recent experiences with the receptionists.I called two weeks ago to schedule an appointment, as my car currently has three separate recalls on it. A younger receptionist answered and tried to transfer me to the service center, but they were unable to answer at that time. She took my name and number, and promised I would receive a call back. That never happened.I just called today (6/4/21), and an older receptionist answered. I began by saying, Hi, I called two weeks ago about a recall on my car and--, however I could not finish my sentence. The receptionist rudely cut me off saying, YOU SAID RECALL? IM TRANSFERRING YOU TO SERVICE. She did not let me finish my sentence or even all me to say thank you for transferring me. Service answered and was very helpful, and finally got me scheduled for an appointment.While this may seem like an insignificant point to bring up, customer service is everything. Someone answering phones should not be rude and off-putting, as they too, represent the company. You may be having a bad day, but each customer should be treated how you would like to be treated.Ive worked in libraries and restaurants, so I know the importance of customer service, as well as the difference between good customer service and very poor customer service, which is what I received in this instance.To all of the wonderful, professional people I interacted with at Mazda in the past--Im sorry one person has to ruin your Google rating that you work very hard to maintain.---ORIGINAL REVIEW (Oct. 2020)If youre looking for a new car and dont know where to begin, start here. Very friendly. Service Department is extremely thorough regarding COVID precautions, including wiping down interior of car before and after service. Plus, I was shown how to change the battery in my key fob so I could do it at home with my spare fob. Free coffee (including decaf!) and bottled water, as well as bananas and oranges.

Great experience buying a car here. Patrick Lauriano was my sales person and he did an excellent job helping me with the purchase of my car. Id also add that he was quick in responding to all my queries over email or phone and even came in on his off day since it was the only day available for me to come into the dealership. This place is a shady dealership they sells cars that do not work at all. I was at the dealership recently and they try to sell me a Honda when the air condition compressor was not working also the rotor need to be Replaced . Do not shop at this dealership. They are very shady and not honest. The mechanics at this dealership do not look at the cars. The car they try to sell to me Need about 3000 dollars of work. they sold it to another customer without telling him the problems with the Car.

Came in for a recall on my CX9. They always do a good job! They all had their masks on. They had the plastic barriers up at counters. Employees were regularly wiping door handles. Great job to protect employees and customers!!!

Wow! What a great experience. I admit I was a little nervous. Major purchases can be daunting. However, from the moment I texted James Joseph and requested to test drive a vehicle Classic Mazda had advertised online the entire process was seamless. Mr. Joseph met me at the door and we were on our way. During the test drive he answered all my questions and showed me what the car had to offer. The sales persons are really knowledgeable and friendly. The process to decide on the final numbers, that is the purchase price and the trade-in was fair and reasonable. The dealership is clean and simple yet contemporary and appealing enriching the experience. The lot had a plethora of cars, hundreds of them so selection was ample. The financing experience was troubling as they really pressed the up sale warranties on you. Asking thousands more for new car warranty is ridiculous - unless the car is lemon. This really took the wind out of my sails, until I got in the new car and my excitement came back. My new cars were prepped nicely and properly. I would buy from Classic Mazda again but would make it clear that I do not want to be pressured about extended warranties.

Bryan, our salesman, clearly explained pricing, was patient and thorough in answering our questions about the SUV, offered us refreshments, made us feel comfortable, met the appointment schedule, provided accurate information, was friendly and pleasant, informed us of options, and told us that we could contact him before and after we took delivery if we had questions. The price was fair, the vehicle was ready on time, and it was well prepared. The showroom, parts area, and shop were orderly and clean. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly. There was no pressure to speed-up the process. The overall experience was excellent.

They made car shopping a lot of fun - which is what it should be. I got what I wanted for my trade-in and a great deal on the Mazda3.My wife and I liked it so much that 2 weeks later she came back and traded in her Honda Civic lease for a CX-3 Grand Touring. I am not one to write reviews due to lack of time, but I had to make time to share what a great it was to go and buy from Classic Mazda. Aubrey Anderson was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, courteous and knowledgeable! And although we went shopping with our toddler, Aubrey was happy to provide some entertainment for her, so my husband and I could get all the information we needed about the car. Tony was also such a nice sale person. He was very knowledgeable and helpful as well. We cant express what a NICE and awesome experience it was to buy a car. There was no pressure, no misinformation nor bad gut feelings. Both my husband and I were surprised at how great a car dealership can be. Other dealership should learn from Mazda Classic. James joeseph was the most down to earth salesman I ever met. I purchased the vehicle over the the phone on his word and Im very happy I put my trust in him. Went to get 4 recalls on my car fixed. Got my car back 2ish days later with a huge scratch on my door. I think a tech opened the door too far when it was on the lift. However no one reported it. The dealership tried to make it right by buffing it out and offering a free detail. The scratch is still there a good amount. However more scratches appeared on my car after this second visit. I’m angry at this point but am just going to cut my losses and get it repainted on my own dime. Giving 3 out of 5 because the service staff was nice and accomidating, trying to make it right. However hire different techs who respect people’s property. I work in a shop myself, and we always say, honesty is the best policy. You scratch my car, let someone know. It’s not hard.
