Save big money, oh yes, and big is the word of the day. My very first trip out to Menards in Mentor was worth the long drive. It is huge you could spenf a good part of your day and still not see everything... When it says save big money, they are right the prices are great the selection is vast. It is so pretty when you walk in and see the big Lighting Display. Although I could not purchase my countertops there because they do not offer installation, so many choices for all the other products that Ill need. As a restoration artist this will be a happy hit on my travels to get supplies. Great Job Menards! You also get a five out of five on Kristens disability accessibility Star card. The whole store is completely accessible with plenty of staff around to lend a hand.

Ah, where do if start. If youve never been to Menards well youre missing out honestly. Home Depot and Lowes fail to even remotely compare to Menards. Im sure youve walked into Home Depot or Lowes, went to get some lumber, or tools and realized 1. The lumber is warped and there is no good quality lumber as well as it looking like a mess. 2. There isnt a lot bits and what not for your tools.Menards is honestly on a different level. Tier 1 hardware store. I was taken back by their lumber selection, having different grades of wood and the all around cleanliness of the facility as a whole.Bottom line I live near Cleveland and would rather drive 20 minutes to Mentor vs 5 minutes down the street to Home Depot. 10/10 would recommend.

This specific exam graet. Dave in the bathroom vanity and cabinetry dept was awesome. He was helpful, happy to be there and all around a very personable guy. Need more employees like him.

Its a big box store, Menards is trying to move in on Home Depot and Lowes,, but there prices are fairly comparable they each sell different vendors supplies... I do know Menards does offer cash back rewards and if you do a project you can get a good sized rewards money to cover some of the supplies

The store is very clean and large. You can find what you need easily. The store associates are very helpful. Items are priced fairly and the selection is always good. They have some unique items that you dont see anywhere else. We enjoy shopping at Menards!

The lady in lighting dept was helpful..went out of her way to find products and answer questions....then the check out girl did not help bag my items....was put put by my questions ...yawned and never thanked me...I spent nearly 300 dollars...same thing with the lady at customer service...not helpful...seemed put out...and leaned on the counter...also did not thank me shopping at menards...seemed bothered....poor customer srrvice overall..but ill still go back because of the products...ease educate your staff as their role..and customers role

All the bird food and corn was a $1to $3 higher then they show on internet. So I wont go back, can get it all way cheaper at Family Farm and Home or at Tractor Supply.

The line did move fast at the register even though the cashier told me they were short staffed. Thats a plus for them there. Nothing wrong with a little hustle. A negative I had was the staff didnt seem to informed about specifics of the products available. I came in looking for a specific component. When asking staff they told me they didnt know, took me to the general area of the store & walked off. I just wish someone would have been available with a little bit more detailed knowledge is all

A gigantic store with a wide variety- from lighting to food- and variation of products. It has a more open interior with better labelled categories than competing hardware stores. The lines, although sometimes appearing long, move quickly, and I can always rely on accessible assistance should I need help finding a product. When I need a more specific component, I know that it is worth it to take the drive to menards rather than shopping and failing at more widespread stores like home depot and lows. I have never had and never will have any complaints about this store

Bernard has such a wide variety of items I can get things at Menards I cannot get at Lowes and home depot. The employees at Menards are very nice the restrooms are very clean and I like the store in particular and as a whole. I would travel to a Menards before I would go to a home Depot because the people at home Depot are rude in comparison to Menards.

They have all bases covered from the garden center to groceries paint blinds curtains wood paneling power tools everything at a great price and they have a rebate Im so happy with them I dont know what to do I went there this time because my peach tree died and I couldnt find any fruit trees in any other places I went to Menards they had a great selection and they were on sale I jumped for joy I actually got a Santa Rosa Plum just what I was looking for.

Bought a sump pump basin at Lowes in Erie and they didnt even sell the discharge covers. Had to drive an hour to Menards to get them. Im very happy now.

Ordered a interior door for a bathroom remodel project and everything went smooth in ordering it and paperwork in store and also came in when they said but the problem was when went to pick up door, it came with NO wrapping or cardboard or any protection on it. Good thing was able to load inside my vehicle because it had no protection at all. Was not happy about this because no protection for damage, thank goodness none happened. PS none was offered!!!

I drove 6 hours to shop here. Very friendly staff. Huge selection that puts orange and blue store to shame. Very reasonable prices. I wish we had one where I lived. Truly a builders paradise.

Gr8 store for home improvement stuff, outdoor furniture, some camping items, electrical, and plumbing.But Wait, Theres more!! Everyday items dish soap, light bulbs, work clothes, batteries,, laundry soap,even snacks, some canned goods, milk, eggs, pet supplies,dishes, cosmetics, and more are sold at very good price points.Menards is cleaner than WalMarts, better lighting than Home Depot, and other similar stores. Plus their prices are in many cases lower then competition and even rebates are offered! Menards is well worth the drive to a one of their stores.

Customer service is the core of any companys success and Menards nails it!Price, selection, atmosphere, and their associates caring attitudes are a few of the other ingredients that when mixed with good management equals a business model that others would do well to emulate.

Im a contractor that has multiple commercial accounts and still always find myself living in a home depot. What I like about menards is their lumber selection especially pertaining to trim and accessories. They have much more readily and available than a home depot or for that matter a mentor lumber or a moder builders. So that for me makes them valuable in a pinch and thats why 4 stars!

If you cant find it here, you didnt look hard enough! Prices are competitive with the two other home improvement stores in area. Menards also has an extremely large outdoor section that makes the competition in the area look like a small playground in comparison!

Menards has become my first choice supplier. Prices and selections are far superior to any other store. The 11% rebates are real and quick to get. If you havent been there, its time to see this for youself.

A massive store to walk. But they have it all, even a kitchen sink. Workers leave with tools, supplies and food. Yes there is a mini mart in the center of the store.

I love Menards compared to Home Depot and Lowes. For example, today I looked for mineral wool insulation, 6 width. Lowes showed it in stock and it wasnt, but could be ordered for TWICE as much as Menards and not available for 14 days. Home Depot also didnt have it in stock, only for order. I also like the helpfulness of the associates at Menards. Multiple people walked up and asked if they could help. And I like that their lumber, roofing, and insulation is in back - you drive back and pick out the product. They had it ready for me. So much easier! The only complaint is that you have to pay for it in advance. Be sure to check yourself if they have enough before paying for it, otherwise you have to go back into the store to get your money refunded. But they are willing to call another store for you and have the remainder of the product waiting at the other store, which we had to do because we didnt know to check ahead of time since it was our first time at Menards. Oh, and they have a clear map of the store on the website. Seemed accurate, so no, I dont think the layout is weird like someone else commented. In fact, I like the diagonal rows in the corners, much easier to get to things. I did find it odd that they also have food! And pet supplies! Awesome! They have lots of dog stuff, but I didnt see as much for cats.

You save money has everything you need but it doesnt have riding mowers.But is a good place to get beef jerky.
