Love this one! Has what you need and in a good location... The management leaves much to be desired...went to purchase a patio table... the process works like this you take the cardup to the register and they bring the table well we get to the register the cashier asked is this in stock? We looked incredulously at each other and I said how would I know? I dont work here... he even says what how do you know we have it? At that point I said do you want me to go in the back and look isnt that your job to find out we bring the card here if its in stock you bring it if not we leave... he grabs his phone calls in the back and they ask where are they parked clearly. they had it in stock... Also signs put in misleading places... I purchased a umbrella stand with a 20% off sign inches from it and they refused to honor it said that the discount was was for everything but that..... I plan on reaching out to higher management about that because the so called manager was very rude and I felt disrespected.. I was with my 80 year old mother who had the foresight to have me take a picture and here it is

Listen!! Please dont sleep on Big Lots selections and style. I came for a drink dispenser and walked out with sophisticated party favors and a WHOLE canvas collage!! And would have gotten the hand-painted one too, if I had the space in my car. Lol 😆

They have some great deals on name brand furniture. They have cleaned and rearranged the store making it easier to find what you are looking for. I signed up for their card and received $5.00 off. I will be shopping there more often.

Was great found some awesome holiday stuff along with cleaning supplies and random other stuff I never knew I needed ha! Very clean wasnt too busy. Was glad to come into town where I used to live and shop. Always a great atmosphere and people.

The Pandemic must have hit Big Lots Mentor hard, this store is a fraction of what it was in 2019. Just dont expect much and save time for a stop next door, youll probably need it. Truly pitiful layout and hardly any selection compared to when they opened.

Place is good for a snap shopping, like last minute holiday decorations or salsa sauce. However, management taking no effort in enforcing masks in the store policy. BL shopping carts could be found as far as half a mile away, abandoned in the woods. Probably to hard to enforce do not take carts with youpolicy, either.

Store is clean but I have trouble finding things there at times. It might be the nature of the store with the overstock merchandise they mainly carry. Lines move quick. Last visit I found more empty space in store than a while back. It might be because of the current situation.

If I can give them a -* I would, this please is very prejudice, I went in to buy a table, I was told it was a discontinued item so I asked for the one on the floor, in my opinion someone that worked there wanted it to but the guy that so called helped me didnt know, ok so he was going to sale it to me BUT THE MANAGER came out the bake lieing, I hear him on the phone say that they was just holding it for some one, thats fine but holding it from November, for real, then when he came out he said someone bought it Im like wow, I dont understand it, Ive been here for about 3 months and I find this store and some of the other places here in Mentor Ohio to b cool, and I dont just mean outside

Employees at the mentor store are so friendly and helpful!!! Great household inventory. Just wish the had more organic did offerings

Update: I made a complaint online to let their area manager know about the horrible customer service I encountered. I received an email, almost a month ago now, that the area manager was notified. Obviously, they dont care too much because I havent heard a peep. So you know what I did? (Im going to sound like a spokesperson lol) I went to Levins furniture just 10-15mins away. They have been amazing! They have furniture of all sorts of styles and prices. They even let you know the EXACT date of when your things will arrive! They also have special financing you can do too. Save yourself the headache and go to Levins furniture, seriously.I opened up a credit card back in January just to purchase a couch and a loveseat. Its now March, and Ive been calling and hearing the same thing Oh it should be soon but we cant give you an exact date. Not once have they apologized for the wait. I just keep hearing them say oh with the pandemic its backed things up. If that was the case, how is Amazon as a company doing? I even asked for free delivery since Ive been waiting almost 2months now and nope, somehow they cant and wont do it. Everytime I called just to ask they always had a passive-aggressive tone. Very poor customer service from the furniture department and the store manager. I would leave a 0 star if I could because theyve done nothing for me except waste my time and send me a bill for 2 months so Im paying on something I dont even have yet. Let it be known, they did not disclose that it would be months before I purchased this couch/loveseat combo. Be careful ordering furniture from them! Ill be cancelling my order and going elsewhere.

Well it looks nice, but Im standing outside the doors at 9:15pm Sunday & theyre CLOSED. (Just like the sign on the door says for Sunday (10am to 9pm). I came here because this site (incorrectly)says they close at 10pm.

I havent been to Big Lots in several years, I just never thought about going. Today I was looking for some slippers that are on sale. I walked in and was wowed! At first glance it felt like I was in a furniture store. A nice furniture store! The entire center of the store is furniture, with the edges having home decor, small appliances, home organization and office needs. Included are pet supplies, cleaning supplies, greeting cards and wrapping paper, baking and pantry products. Christmas decor is abundant! I found table runners, tablecloths and hand towels decor with red VW Beetles (one of my favorite things!) with Christmas Trees tied on top. The Christmas trees are a nice quality and displayed with several themes guaranteed to fit any taste. You can bet Ill be returning to check out whats on my grocery list for the week!

The store looks absolutely beautiful and clean and the selection of furniture is great. They moved everything around to accommodate more furniture and less of everything else. The only thing that I didnt care for is they stopped accepting the food ebt card. Other than that great store with very helpful employees.

Pleasantly surprised to walk in and see Big Lots has cleaned up their stores and given them a healthy dose of organization. Same merchandise but youre actually able to easily find what youre looking for. Prices tend to be good, but be warned: something arent a good deal.

This has always been one of my favorite stores for good finds for cheap. Clean and friendly staff as well.

They rearranged the store so that the entire middle is taken up by furniture. I think they have to decide... Are they a discount store or are they a furniture store. I know I dont go into Big Lots to buy furniture. Im looking for bargains in all other items but that. Still good bargains but ya hafta bypass a bunch of furniture to get there.

Good deals, decent selection and helpful staff. Some items are hit or miss as it is a closeout store. So if you see something you like at a good price, it may not be there when you return.

This store is surprisingly clean and organized for a discount store. Lots of deals to be had and situated next to other discount stores which makes it easy to stock up on lots of items on the cheap. Just make sure youre checking prices on grocery items... not all of them are deals.

I was really surprised by how extensive so.e of their departments are. Tons of outdoor patio choices, furniture, and foods. I found some vegan options, which I didnt expect, and the staff is extremely helpful and makes sure that you get assistance when needed.
