This is as friendly a place as the card shop from my home town! The owner, Dirt, is an amazing guy, he keeps the atmosphere light and fun. Pricing is definitely great, no lack of selection of board games. He even makes cosplay accessories! And he does a damn good job too! I really like this place.

We were in town for a hockey tournament and visited this friendly LGS. Owner was very nice. Seemed to have a good play group from atmosphere and the description.

If you come up on Mondays, between 6-9ish and ask for me, I will give you a random card. And then we will best friends. And when people ask why, I will say Because we went to Great Lakes Game Emporium, and I love it!, as I skip away to lose in another battle.

Very rude and obnoxious. Also runs a fb group and treats people awful and bans them for warning other members about group members.

Doesn’t sell 40k like it said but it carries everything for dnd and MTG

I will not buy anything offline I will only shop for my D&D supplies at Great Lakes game Emporium. This is the main place I go and get my Pokemon cards. The place is always neat and clean and there are always people playing Magic the Gathering or other card games at the tables in the back. The owner is very nice and is courteous when he answers my questions. There is also a fantastic range of products.

It seems like a hidden gem on Route 615. What a great store and the owner seems to have a vast knowledge of many games and can help you easily find the perfect game. I didnt go in with the intention of buying, but after a conversation with the owner, I found a game that Im sure to love. I look forward to going back there in a couple weeks to picking up my next game. Check it out if you are in the area!

This a GREAT gaming place in Lake County. ALL kinds of games are here. They hold regular Magic the Gathering tournaments for all level types. The owner is a good guy and works hard to help you in your gaming choices.

Drove all the way from Central Pennsylvania to come here to sell my cards and it was well worth the drive. The owner was very nice and laid back and made me feel very welcome. If I lived closer I would make this place a regular stop!

This is a great card shop. They have Magic and Pokemon games hosted every week, and they have other games going in an on-demand basis. Great staff, very knowledgeable. Very laid back atmosphere, safe for the younger kids too. I take my 10 year old up there for Monday night Pokemon league and he loves it. Highly recommended.

I watched the man running the counter (not sure if it was the owner) physically throw boxes of still in the packaging cards on the ground with such force I flinched. Multiple times. I went in to get supplies as Im starting my Magic: The Gathering journey and on top of his awful treatment of the items which they sell (which could contain items of value if you know anything about these games) it felt like he could not care less about the customer. It was the second time visiting this store and Im so put off by the rudeness that Id rather pay a few extra dollars elsewhere than put up with such lackluster customer service. Severely disappointing in many ways, I was hoping to find a permanent source for my new hobby that I could feel good about supporting. Im being generous with the extra star as they had what I was looking for....but so does amazon, and without the attitude.

Selection, price and service are all excellent. No pressure or hassles. They are always willing to order games for you if they do not carry them. A half dozen large tables provide sace for in store gaming. The place is clean and nice. The store is a five star.

Great selection of games, ranging from ccg to heavy tactical, with plenty at all price points. 20% in store discount seems to be the minimum on all games, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have tables for playing... bring your own, or try one of their demo copies.I would have liked their weekend hours to have later times, but thats about the only thing I can see as a small drawback. If youre in the area, check them out!

My wife and I went to this store looking to get into playing Magic. We were met with nothing, but the best of service. The staff was amazing!!! They took time out to sit with us and walk us through on how to play. The crowd that hangs out in the store is also great! They also were eager to sit with us and show us the ropes. Great experience overall and we will be going back again and again!

I personally love this store. I only come to this local store while on leave and the selection and store owner are just great. Plenty of events and you can attend at this establishment to hang out to play board/card games and D&D. The store owner has a vast amount of knowledge and experience in all of these areas and send happy to give advice and guidance! If your looking for a good place for this kind of stuff I highly recommend it.

This is the friendliest, cleanest, well-stocked, and female-friendly gaming store I have ever been to in NE Ohio. The staff are great people and very knowledgeable. All of their stock is easy to see and well maintained. There are plenty of events going on, open board games to play for free, and lots of tables to use for all sorts of gaming. The store is also very well lit and hot/cool depending on whats needed.I highly recommend this gaming store!

Nice collection of games, and pretty much every evening or weekend day, there are friendly tournaments of Magic The Gathering. Collection of single cards for sale in Magic is a near complete selection at very fair prices. Players are friendly to newcomers and beginners. Similarities to another store in Lyndhurst with the same ownership. But I think the Mentor store is especially lively and fun.

Seriously cool staff. They have a large gaming community as this is the only real FLGS in this part of Northeast Ohio. If you live in Lake County, this should be your home for Magic and RPGs. They have been great about setting me up with a gaming group and even a space to play. I really love this store and their community.

Custom 3D printed items have been for sale recently, including DnD spell markers & spell ranges. Good way to add flair to your game & support local business.

A Fantastic store, me and my wife love the wide variety of board games, and table top and more that they have. We love also going to look and get new dice for ourselves and our collections. Its fun and everyone is fun and nice to talk to. We are so happy they opened up in mentor, the prices are also always reasonable and fair, ill go here over other stores for my gaming books as well. The staff is even nice enough to have it shipped to the store for free if they dont have it at the time.

Great prices and great place overall. The customer service was really rude by the guy who owned it. We went there not knowing much about magic and he insulted us not once but twice when we went there. They kept complaining that they were going to close up shop early since they had no customers when we were right there trying to buy some decks. It was not a great experience for people just getting into magic. I would recommend going there when you are well versed in magic. Me and my friends will never go there again.

A wide selection of newer sets of cards, tabletop games and features weekly tournaments. Not much selection of older MTG sets earlier than Zendikar. Still, highly recommend and well run shop

Walked in to find sleeves for Yu-Gi-Oh cards, approached the larger gentleman behind the counter politely and asked, my response was We dont sell Yu-Gi-Oh stuff here, thats Mr. Cards N Comics and theyre closed at this time. Its currently 9:26 pm on Halloween. I was looking to make a purchase, not for attitude to be thrown at me presumably for my trading card game choice.
