Love it here. Its so clean and modern style look.

Out of stock on a lot of things I wanted. Bare shelves in different parts of the store. Same shelves were empty last week also. Wondering if I can get my Thanksgiving supplies or have to go elsewhere. To be fair, other stores seem to be out of the same things.

I love using the curbside pickup and the staff is great. The only problem is that they are always out of things. The most basic things. I can only think of one time where I didnt get a message from my shopper saying they were out of something. Then I have to go to the Mentor-On-The-Lake Giant Eagle, which is almost never out of the same things Im looking for at the Tyler location. I just dont get it. Its annoying and inconvenient. If I wanted to actually go into a store I would have just done that in the first place. Thats what Im trying to avoid.

Curbside pickup is spectacular here. The store itself is clean but small comparatively to the other Giant Eagles around. I dont know if they have self checkout here which stinks. They also lack firewood that others have. The kicker for us is the car carts, my kid loves them so we keep coming back.

Clerk helped me figure out the crazy app and trying to get an electronic coupon on my phone. It was very confusing. The signs in the store with the prices make u download the app, clip coupon and when I didnt see it anywhere, the clerk said it will automatically deduct when u scan. Terrible system. Confusing

This brand new Giant Eagle its really nice (as you might expect from a brand new store). The produce, deli, bakery, seafood, and meat department all offer up great options. They have a cold bar, but they do not offer a hot bar which limits the lunch options for those that work in the area. They also provide a mobile scanning option. This allows you to scan while you shop; expediting the checkout process.

I prefer the larger Giant Eagle in Painesville. This one did not have the item I was looking for, even though I saw it in the Painesville store earlier today.

Another disappointing visit 1st went customer service counter no one their took about 4 min. For someone to show. Them went to deli no one there. 5people working lunch meat counter but none would even talk to me. Did eveything they could to avoid. After few minutes i left no food.this happen consistently so i will no longer come here.

They have good fried chicken and other good cooked foods

They have the best fried chicken of all the Giant Eagles. This is the main reason I shop at this one and I have 2 closer to my house.

You had many fresh Blueberries which is a change forvyou. They usually arnt fresh.

We stopped as they were just starting to put away the prepared food such as chicken and JoJos and mac and cheese, and instead of being able to purchase some the woman just said, CLOSED! As they were dishing it out and taking it out, to put it away or dispose of it or whatever they do, they could have put it in a container and scaled it and sold it to us

This is a really nice store. Large variety of anything you can think of.

The newer GE in Mentor (Rt. 2 & 615) is great. Always friendly, clean and pleasant to shop at. Good thing because I stopped going to the one in MOL. That one is terrible. Rude employees who scold you if you go in the wrong way (makes no sense) and they blame you when the self checkout doesnt work (it never works). I will never shop at that location again. Thanks for the newer, much better store where you actually feel welcome.

Great staple in our community. Organic produce lacks some. Love new 615 location. Very clean.

Won’t be returning here ever again due to their mask mandate. Somehow according to them, covid delta will only spread august 9th and the days after but not before? Makes no sense.

Cant find anything. Dont carry a lot of vegan items that heinens does. Have to bag your own food so you cant watch them ring you up. Then the cashiers look at you funny if you dont start bagging, thats thier job. Dislike giant eagle very much

Love the store. Spotlessly clean, with most shelves well stocked. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the speed of the checkout line. It moves kind of slow and most of the cashiers do not engage the customers.

I prefer shopping here. The produce is always fresh, store is clean, and the employees are always helpful. The prices are a bit higher than most stores but all in all I am happy with the availability of the products I am shopping for.

Great place to shop for groceries, they actually have more than 2 cashiers working so you dont have to scan and bag all your groceries! So much better than that other big box store!

Went for culvert 19 vaccine Everyone was great was in-and-out before my schedule time. The only thing I didnt like was I had to drive Out of my Suburb to go to another suburb when there are 2 giant eagles within a 5 mile radius of my house.

Super clean, not too packed, and they have a lot of good selections. Lots of staff who are very friendly and always offer to help with finding items or at checkout. Parking is never a hassle and its right off Tyler Blvd and near route 2 so its easy to get to.. This is my favorite Giant Eagle for sure. Highly recommend.

For a brand new building, you’d think it would be designed a little better. This store is so small and jam packed you can’t even navigate!! There is hardly enough room to have more than 2 people in the cashier line before blocking the entire walkway. If I am going to overpay for groceries at giant eagle (I hardly ever shop there to begin with) I expect a superior experience than discount stores, however at this point I’d be happy to go to Walmart over this store any day.

Tyler blvd Giant Eagle is doing a good job of cleaning, keeping shelves stocked and providing great customer service. I shop three grocery stores and have decided Giant Eagle is the best.

Selection is good. Sales are good. Their aisle signs are disappearing and I feel safer when most people follow the directional signs.

Great place to shop. Unlike other Giant Eagles people are friendly and polite, down to earth treat you like a person. I love the atmosphere and the employees. Good people.

The new Giant Eagle is excellent, very well laid out and terrific fresh food and prepared foods too. The check out people are very helpful and friendly. I like the big wide parking lot with good handicap choices.The access to the store and surrounding outlets is easy with entrance and exits on lights at both Tyler Blvd. And Center street is convenient and safe. Very nice new Giant Eagle. Also a lot of registers were open with check out people so with my larger orders I dont have to self check!!!!

This location is a Market Place store. You will find extra deli items, sushi, rotisserie chicken, bakery, etc.. It is clean, cheerful, deli bakery, meat departments staffed with helpful sales people. Right now, one way isles are set-up to keep social distancing. Small to medium shopping list can end up above $100 easily. There are always items on sale in meat section.

Always clean location. Pretty busy usually but still quick.

The organization of the store is way off. Like items are not together and things that are placed are really not suppose to be there. And you are always out of Cadbury milk chocolate bars and ginger ale with lemonade in the cans.

Very organized, but completely different from all the other G.E. I thought the purpose of it was to make them somewhat similar in regards to where things are located

Giant eagles curbside is not very good. They dont listen very well for one, the kid I spoke to on the phone didnt pay attention to a word I said when he called me to ask about substitutes. I told him what to substitute and he said cool we have those; I get our order and its missing every single thing that we discussed on the phone. Not to mention our delivery was 2 hours late. Definitely wont be doing this again. Im pretty sure they screw it up on purpose so people dont come back for the service.

Pretty standard store. Still always feels oddly laid out. Small produce section. Great fried chicken. Has a fresh sushi chef.

I was struggling to do an item search at self checkout for an item that didnt have a barcode to scan. A sales associate walked up and blatantly accused me of trying to steal said item. What I needed was assistance but what I got was rude and unprofessional behavior. Will not be back anytime soon.

OK place to shop but getting to be very expensive prices are rising and rising.. Getting hard Afford to shop there so look for other places to go

Things are too high up in the freezer section for older people to reach.Dont like this store at all,they are never stocked up.Have to go to Heinens to finish up what was empty there.But the people are always very nice.

This store is not my favorite Giant Eagle. They dont have alot of options compared to other grocery stores.

Early visit to G E store in Mentor. Forgot mask in car. Was not offered one at door by attendant. Purposely kept my distance from other shoppers and hurried to get a few essentials once I realized mistake. Kept distance at checkout from other person in front even though another position was available. Then was scolded by attendant for having too many items in cart even though no one else was there. I found her unnecessarily rude in light of situation

Stopped on way home from a browns game to see if chestnuts were available. Looked everywhere accompanied by my 20 yr old son. We couldnt find them anywhere so we asked an associate who continued walking while pointing that all the nuts are there. No help because we obviously were inconveniencing her. Nice new store.

In order to use self checkout, you have to have a giant eagle card??? Super cool idea ! Just make it easier guys, not harder! Simple rule.

Tried the scan as you go method of paying for and checking out your groceries. Great idea! Works very well! Just dont choose this option if you plan on purchasing a lot of stuff because once youre done shopping, you have to bag all of it by yourself. Yeah, standing there bagging $200 worth of groceries for 10 min. wasnt the greatest experience but if you only plan on buying a few bags worth of stuff, as opposed to 10+ bags, then this is a great option. When we were ready to check out there was no line and the actual check-out process was fast and convenient. Bagging your purchase is what takes the most time so I recommend using this for when you only need a few items.

Hardly has any options for baking ingredients. If you are looking for anything other than the basics, don’t come here.

I shop there all the time, I have never had a problem with customer service, finding someone has never been a problem. I just ordered a cake for my son over the phone and the baker, since I wasnt there, described in detail my custom cake options and I was able to choose. They confirmed the time, spelling of my sons name and the date of pick up.I then asked to be transferred to the Meat department. The butcher picked up within 20 seconds. I explained what I needed, 2.5 pounds of 8 oz chicken breasts run through the charcuterie. I specified to place each breast on a piece of wax paper so its easier to work with when I go to marinate and cook them.I do like the setup of the Mentor on the lake store and that store is actually closer but I like the people at the Mall store. I am sure the Mall store will be remodeled soon.As far as other comments here, people expect to much, cant wait and dont understand how hard it is to find good help in the age we are in. You have to find people who you can trust, will show up and be able to look presentable to the public...... Being in sales most of my life it is a challenge to find good help, from the 1st entry level job to a job that pays 6 figures. Relax people, life shouldnt be a drama........ :)

THE NEW Giant Eagle on Tyler was SUCH A LET DOWN!!!! They focused soooo hard on making it look like a whole foods so it was aesthetically pleasing that they apparently forgot ease and convenience! The isle-ways are so narrow that even on a non-busy day youre turning corners sharply and trying to avoid hitting the carts on the other side of the isle from you! Only saw one bathroom and it was hard to locate being that they had deli carts outside of it and it looked like it was a kitchen with the amount of employees standing in the doorway. Their selections were lacking, a HUGE let down for a store that boasted it was going to be rivaling its previous set up. Two other OLD GE have a better selection of items ESPECIALLY in the dietary needs department like Gluten Free. Hell I would rather drive out to a whole foods where there are millions of options then shop at this location with a pathetic single freezer. AND MOST UPSETTING they got rid of the good self check outs. They only offer the 12 items of less lines. The self checkouts with conveyor belts are essential and one of the reasons we USED the mentor location. Overall I plan to shop at another location from here on out. What a let down Mentor. I thought you were better than this.
