HUGE selection. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Well organized. Always something new. We stop here if we are up in Mentor. One of the few places that has Brugal rum. The sign out front never disappoints either! Often it has hilarious sayings.

This was around my 15th visit.Simply put, they are the best stocked beer & liquor store Ive ever visited.

We went to WWL looking for liquers to cook with & found more than an ample selection to pick from.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent selection of liquor. Recently updated the store with new shelving for the liquor so its easier to find and better organized. Good selection of wine and beer. They are willing to order wines for you if they dont have it. Some beers I enjoy I cant find there but you cant carry them all and can always find something you enjoy or New York try. Miss the growlers and beer taps pre-covid. It was awesome to get a beer and walk around shopping.

I will never frequent this place again. Twice I called about 10 days ahead for particular wines and spirits. Both times the order was wrong or had items missing even though the clerks said it was fulfilled over the phone. Only lame excuses and no apology both times.

They have an assortment of drinks. If you cant find it here, you probably wont find it anywhere else in Mentor.

My boyfriend went today to get a wine bottle for a christmas gift. When he went to the counter and he handed his ID to the lady. She proceeded to ask if it was him and he said yes.. She then proceeds to tell him it is not him in the ID. He then hands her a second form of identification and tells her that it is him. Keep in mind he is 23 and nobody has ever asked him for two pairs of identification. His license looks exactly like him. Not sure why she thought she needed to 2 forms identification.

Extremely rude and wealthy people who have virtually monopoly in mentor. Made so much money over holidays they have now closed on sundays. We’re always open for couple hours on sundays in winter. Not now. Too much money and power in one friggin store. Monopoly world wines and liquor. State corruption. More stores equals more choice and better hours. I want more choices in mentor for all of us. Please support me in this.

Great staff and great selection but they charge a convenience fee for using a credit card even on larger orders. Who does this still? Obviously trying to make as much as possible on top of the already generous profits from alcohol. Make sure to bring cash!

I often visit World of Wines on Saturday for their Wine tasking events. For $5 you get 5-6 samples of different wines. It is a great way to experience new wines at an inexpensive price. On top of that World of Wines offers a huge selection of beers, wines, and spirits. They also have multiple beer handles for many different craft beers that you and either sample, purchase a growler or have a pint. Stop by and visit, youll be glad that you did.

I think the staff need to B a little more personable. When your staff sees someone who is handicapped(with cane are having a trouble opening the door B more aware they might need a little help) Offer a helping hand. More rolling carts.Your isles are very cluttered bottles all lined on the floors making navigation difficult when two people are in the isles. Safety hazard.

Nice big variety of beers, wines, liquor, brandy, etc. They are happy to offer suggestions and locate things for you. And they always take my purchases out to my car for me☺️

If its got alcohol in it and you can drink it, chances are World Wines will have it. Great selection of wines, the hard stuff, the weak stuff, mixers, and other drinks as well. Its the only place local that has a few drinks I enjoy too. Decent prices, but the selection is really what makes the place great!

While I get today is busy, this establishment lost a sale today, and any future business from me.They didnt have what I came in for, but I saw something the peaked my intrest. Wasnt permitted 5 seconds to make a decision.

Big selection but no store picks that I saw. It was nice to walk into a stand alone adult beverage store.

Highly recommend avoiding this store (exception for wine). When they first opened, they were customer friendly. Not at all now. Some of the staff is beyond rude. Just absolutely terrible attitudes.If you ask about difficult to find products, they balk, roll their eyes, and seek starting an argument or belittling you. Is it really that difficult to answer a question? Maybe you answered it 50 times today, but for me, its the first time. If you dont like having to answer questions, youre probably in the wrong business. Doesnt seem like they advocate for their customers much when it comes to securing products. West side of Cleveland seems to always have certain items, and this store just claims to not know anything. (incidentally, why are hard to find items being held for restaurants and not sold to the public? Can I have a case held for me? Did you call them? Why not call customers that have been asking months for something?)

We stop here when we want something the other stores don’t carry. It’s a bit difficult to find what you want if it’s a specialty but the staff is knowledgeable and can usually walk you right to the item.Watch out when you purchase anything in a box! My last purchase had small bit of sticky broken glass smashed into the side of the box.

They have everything, even gluten free ciders. Artisan beer on tap, pop loves that. And if they dont, just ask and theyll try to get it. Oh and they have all the fixens for what youre trying to make and fancy cheeses. Wish they had longer hours but still stellar.

This is the best place to buy wines at in the area. I always talk to Brian about what they have that is the best tasting wines and he always lets me know what is there at this time of the year. There are many wines and liquors that have wonderful taste in my selections. This is a great place to go to.

Decent selection of beer and wine. They dont have the best selection in the region, but what they have is good. Best place locally I have found to get hard alcohol with a solid selection. They are a very good natured crowd and generally nice, however, as far as I can tell they write down requests and then promptly forget them. Stop in here for your hard alcohol or if you also want to go to Nicks next door.
