This walgreens used to be great. Now the pharmacy is so overwhelmed that any basic task takes a ridiculous amount of time.I had a yes or no question today and called. I waited on hold for 28 minutes before being hung up on. I called back, waited another 30 minutes, and was hung up on again. Never got my question answered. Note this was not during their lunch break time.I decided to call the store and let them know I was unable to reach the pharmacy. I was again unable to reach a single person.2 weeks ago I waited an hour and 15 minutes for a flu shot when I was third in line.They also allow customers to make covid vaccine appointments, call them the day before and say there are none, promise to call or email when they are back in stock, and then never do so.Walgreen corporate needs to make changes in this location. Staff are overworked, understaffed, and unappreciated. This is the result.

The pharmacy is completely overwhelmed and it seems they are doing nothing to fix it. Prescriptions used to be filled in hours, now it takes four plus days. Once a prescription is filled it usually takes thirty minutes to get through the line. It seems like staffing issues are to blame, maybe if they offered an actual reasonable wage in one of the country’s most affluent ZIP codes they could actually fully staff the pharmacy.

The most incompetent pharmacy I’ve had the misfortune to use. This is the 4th time they told me they were out of stock of my prescription A WEEK after I had tried to refill it. Getting this pharmacy to properly communicate to my doctor let alone restock my prescription is an absolute mess.Some staff members had no idea I had even requested a refill and we’re confused as to why none of their co-workers made note to order a restock of that prescription. I’ve had to drive all over looking for a Walgreens that had it in stock. One of them even sent me to the WRONG Walgreens after joking how often they confuse the street names.I’ve been in a working situation where being short staffed is a nightmare, but something is really wrong with this pharmacy on the island. Sorry to the hard working folks who might be there but this is ridiculous. I will take any alternative to this Walgreens pharmacy after dealing with the hellish time I’ve had today looking for a place that actually had my basic medications. Waste of time.

The pharmacy online appointment system is a lie. They let walk-in people cut in line and make appointment customers wait for more than one hour. Dont rely on the appointment system. Just go somewhere else or walk in at a less busy time. Its understandable given the COVID situ and short staffing. But Walgreens should turn off the appointment system if they cant honor it. It messes up peoples schedule.

I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service over the phone. Just rude people for no reason, it’s not the pharmacy, it’s some company they’ve hired to take calls. I advise not to call if possible.

Website mentions being able to print a FedEx return label here before dropping your package off but they dont offer printing.

We have made multiple complaints to the manager of this store - Rob - about the noise level of the air compressor they use to clean the leaves in their parking. This is particularly disturbing for the surrounding residential neighbours and business. After making several complaints since Summer 2020, however the store manager who is the most unprofessional, rude, and irresponsible individual does not care about the noise or hygiene complaint to find a less disturbing and more hygienic way of cleaning the leaves in their parking. Also, the air compressor that they use makes a lot of mess blowing the leaves and other trash (including masks, dried spits, etc ) to the customers and people walking by. With Covid on the rise, using an air compressor to blow the virus more into peoples face, and back into the air is the worst possible way for sweeping the leaves.

The photo department is amazing. They really went above and beyond for me ! Stellar customer service

Got my flu shot on Saturday at Walgreens Mercer Island. First, I scheduled for 9:00 AM and they told me to come early which I did. However, they do not open and lift the cage to the pharmacy until 9:00 sharp, so why have me come early?While waiting in the pharmacy area looking around I saw how disgusting the floor was. There were things under the chairs (toothpick, hair tie etc) cob webs in the corners at floor level, dust and dirt accumulated under stands in the area; you could tell it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. I then started to look around the floors in the rest of the store and they were equally as disgusting. This place hasnt been cleaned in a long time. To think that people bring their children in there and they crawl around the floor is of concern. I did mention it to the manager as I left and he acted like he had no idea the place was a pig pen. As for the flu shot, that all went well, but the floor in the room where I got the shot was disgusting also. Walgreens is cutting corners with unsanitary conditions.

Pharmacy review. Tall lady with glasses and dark hair was super rude and unprofessional, she gave me someone elses prescription which I pointed out then told me my prescription wasnt in the system. After I confirmed that the RX was indeed sent over a week ago, she told me that it hadnt been filled yet and to come back the next day because she was in a hurry to close up at 10pm sharp. She really didnt want to help from the beginning and wasted our time. There were no other customers in line and showed no empathy towards the situation.

Since when is a passport not a valid ID. Apparently the guy working wasn’t trained properly and wouldn’t accept it. Horrible service. I called corporate and they apologized at least but it shouldn’t have happened, plus he was a total jerk.

I love Walgreens. Its like a comfy old shoe. Everything you want, and more. Plus, Red Nose Day!!!

I got my passport photo taken here, and it was fast and easy. I dont do much shopping there but customer service was good. Most of the people working there were older than 45

Fist and last time filling a prescription at this place today. If you like LONG waits and obnoxious pharmacists, then this is the place for you! I suddenly remember why I stopped using Walgreens for anything.

Never go there. I needed antibiotics after heavy dental surgery. They took my prescription and when I came back to take it, they were closed without further notice for the rest of the day. So 24h without antibiotics !! No backup. No phone number to call. Never trust them with your health.

Tried calling the pharmacy twice today, on hold for 45mins & 35mins without getting through. Had to call the photo desk to get them to talk to the pharmacy about answering their phone. Got excuses that made no sense, I think they had the phones turned off. Got CONSTANTLY interrupted when trying to ask for what I needed.
