Clerk hung up on me multiple times after answering the phone. I walk in to ask my question and they immediately answer it no. Would have been nice to just get a simple answer over the phone.

The produce was great and I had their Brussel sprouts and some fried chicken. Both were excellent!

Love this grocery store! Their hot foods and salad bar are always fresh and so tasty! All the pre packed soups, sandwiches, sushi etc are all so delicious too!

My normal goto is the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. However, I tried one of the new korean bacon egg and cheese sandwiches today. They are wonderful and very filling. Highly recommend!

I am so glad to see Metropolitan Market on the Island! They have been one of my favorite neighborhood stores in the Seattle area for some time. They have an amazing produce, seafood, deli, housewares, and health and wellness department selection. The store is clean and bright! They are taking every precaution to help the staff and shoppers during the pandemic with their level of cleanliness and physical distancing all while providing a top level of customer service. They have maintained a lot of staff from the previous New Seasons Market employees so there are friendly and familiar faces. I am so pleased with their commitment to providing a great shopping experience!

Love this store! Wonderful selection of veggies, & other items. Bakery & deli has good options, too (yummy!). And their house wine is pretty good, esp for the price! Employees are always super friendly. 😊

Terrible customer service. I’ve been in twice - once in my work/blue collar outfit and the other in my dress clothes. Cashier was different both times and neither bothered saying hello or anything back during the entire exchange. So it’s not that they discriminate on customer occupation. They are just above treating customers like humans. Produce and dinnerware are not even comparable to the QA location. Will not be back to this location.

This market includes the finest food and produce. I love to buy tomato sauce, pasta, and salads from there. Also they have great variety of fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

This is my favorite Metropolitan market. Parking is easy. Flowers are stunningly beautiful and displays immaculate. Meat and seafood so very tempting. Excellent quality! Fruits and veg always fun display right up front.

Great grocery store, but terrible checkout experience. It takes forever to checkout. Avoid during busy times unless you want to wait for 30 mins.

Good market with some hard to find things, definitely expensive!

You can shop at less expensive grocery stores, but the Metropolitan Market experience includes a fantastic seafóod and.meat.department,. a first rate bakery and many other departments that offer great choices. Cap it off with superb customer service. Thats the Met Market experience.

This is a very nice store with very nice and courteous employees! Store is very well laid out and it easy to maneuver the aisles. Highly recommend!

I had a poor experience in the bakery section tonight. I was showing some friends to the store for the first time, walking down the isles and showing them how amazing the store can be. We ended up in the bakery looking through the glass at all the desserts. We were not approached by any of the employees and noticed the glass had handles on the front, so we assumed we could self serve. A few minutes later, a manager walked over immediately talking to us in an aggressive tone. Blaming us for ruining all the baked goods because we opened the glass. We even apologized and he continued to blame us and ask why would even think to do such a thing. We grabbed a small tart from the top and he was saying that the glass did not have handles and that the items did not have tags, even when they did. This experience left a bad taste in our mouth and I really wouldn’t expect to have a good time in the bakery.

Well organized, well-stacked.

The customer service was excellent in my visit today. There was a product that was looking for and two different staff members went out of their way to help me and they were able to locate the product that was tucked away and not easily found. Everyone that works there is so friendly. As far as product selection, the produce is the best in town. Thanks for making shopping there such a pleasant experience.

Wish they had more organic produce options. Honestly wish they ONLY carried organic options. I can find most of what I need and want here but was let down looking for a range of tinted SPF.

Every time I’m shipping at this location I get cashiers roll eyes, make faces on me. I am a Instacart shopper, so I shop here very often! Very bad experience today with cashier Chris, I had to go on and on explaining to him that I was not getting a box of juice and he kept pretending he does not understand me. The cashier next to him had to be involved, explaining that I’m not getting this item “go back item”. If manager reads this, instacart shoppers are not being treated as a regular customers at this location!

If your polite and wait in line at the lunch counter youll never get served. So be rude and cut and yell at the staff to get their attention.

Wonderful selection, unique items. Cards, kitchen ware, lovely bakery. Mercer Island is a large square footage store, nice environment, still like Kirkland too!

Always love Metropolitan Market and the Mercer Island store is equally as wonderful! We were heading over I-90 and decided to stop by for their fantastic deli. We got sandwiches, salad and sodas for lunch. Hubby got a muffuletta and I got an italian Venato sandwich. Both were so good! They also have all kinds of regular brands along with exotic products. It is my got to for special cuts of meat, specialty cheeses and great fresh produce. Hubby gobbled the muffuletta too quickly but I did get a picture of my sandwich. Great place to explore and grab a bite of just about every cuisine!👍😁😋

Prepare for the sticker shock! Used to be a four seasons market with good prices for high quality. Now the quality is the same but the prices jumped. Ouch.

Meh. Overpriced. Produce was not of a quality that warranted higher pricing than other grocers. Liked that there were some good local brands available and will return only for specialty items.

This is a nice but expensive store. Ground beef was $11/lb for example. I really like the italian soda here. Most stuff is high quality here, however it can be hard to find some simpler items, like ketchup. We searched for ketchup all throughout the store and could not find any. It isnt really a big deal to me that I couldnt find ketchup, it was just impossible to find.

Unfortunately this store is a step back from the New Seasons Market. Good selection with high-prices commensurate with quality and specialty products.You have to pay for quality, however expired product and generally negative attitude here. Store workflow appears dysfunctional and store management seems indifferent to customer requests. Mistakes are being made.Im loathe to give QFC my business and prefer not to shop off-island. Teething problems better get fixed ASAP or the store is doomed.

Ill be honest, I miss New Seasons. Met Market is nice but its a more expensive version of the same thing with less selection. The staff are friendly, produce looks good, items are quality. If you hadnt been to New Seasons youd probably have no complaints.

My least favorite Metropolitan Market for sure. Service is severely lacking. Waited to be helped for over 10 minutes, and my boyfriend (who was waiting at a different counter) wasnt even acknowledged and left hungry. My veneto sandwich was ice cold in the middle when I brought to my car to eat. What a dissapointment. Do yourself a favor and go to the MM in Bellevue or West Seattle. For prices this high, you would expect employees would be a little better at their jobs. Smh.

Ive heard others complain of the prices at Met Market, but heres the thing, you dont go to Met Market for everyday grocery items you go for their wonderful selection of bakery, deli, cheese and wines. This one in particular feels a little more like a traditional super market until you get to the far left of the store.

Pretty please bring back the New Seasons Beer, Wine and Burger Cafe featured at the Ballard location. The Mercer location only had the Beer and Wine Cafe, but the selections and atmosphere were great!
