Its a grocery supermarket. I have not visit any Hannaford supermarket. We dont have this grocery chain in NJ. It totally feels different than ShopRite, Pathmark, Wegmans, or Kings.... Grocery layout setup here make me feel a bit easy... I like this feeling....

Love Hannaford! Employees are always so helpful. Store always clean.eat and fish department always have a good selection. Its my go to store

Clean and well stocked! We were traveling from NJ and staying on Lake Winnipesaukee. We dont have Hannaford Supermarkets near us, but I now wish we did.

The store has a great selection of local, fresh produce and a very helpful staff. It is always busy during the day but, it seems to manage the flow efficiently.

This is one of the better Hannaford Supermarkets in the area. Its just a clean, well organized smaller grocery store that has excellent customer service and great customers, as well.

Well stocked store for being smaller compared to other locations. The produce department is especially clean and well organized.

Ugh so frustrating. Three times in the last few months I get home and I missing a bag in my cart. I call and they say your lucky it hasn’t happened more. I’m shocked. It’s never happened to me other than the last few months. And I’m in my 50s and have done a lot of grocery shopping.. hahaha. But not funny.

Normally I am very pleased with Hannafords but the influx of new help at the Meredith location is a bit of a disappointment. I was cashing out as usual and the customer behind me not only did not respect the 6 feet social distancing but then began to load his groceries right next to mine. I was disappointed both the cashier AND the bagger did not say anything. Aside from this, the store is normally very good at social distancing.

Great store! With a nice selection we found everything we were looking for our weeklong vacation. Then with the hardware store nextdoor it was the perfect stop to get everything we needed!

Was greeted when I walked in the store it was clean and bright had everything I was looking for great selection of wine and cheeses the butcher case was full and looked tempting no worries about shopping there

A friendly neighborhood supermarket. Not always a large selection of produce but a good variety and usually fresh. Also very good customer service at every level. Prices are as expected.

Organized but if your looking for any Applegate products or gluten free is almost impossible to find or out of stock

This is a nice larger grocery store its possibly one of the largest in the immediate area It has a great selection its well maintained and the staff is really nice You have some great deals to be had every week plenty of parking over all definitely shop here if youre in the area

I had such a horrible experience with this hannaford. While my husband was in the store and I was waiting him in my car, one of the Hannafords employee (whos car was parked next to my) scratch my cars for with his key... He didnt noticed me seating on the back seat of my car.I came out of my car and asked him for explanation. His excuses were you park too close and sorry, Im just having a bad day. Wow! Its happened 5 days ago, but I still shaking. I cant stop thinking about it. This man had a badge hero on his uniform. Is that what heroes do? Vandalize other people cars? What kind of environment in this working place if workers are so frustrated after their working day?I went to talk to the store manager. I explained him the whole situation, he took notes and my contact information, promised to make envestigation and call me back. But he didnt. They just dont care!People are frustrated and aggressive this days. They selfishly think they are the only ones who having a bad days in this difficult and odd times.

When a store just looks over verbal bullying and harrassment just because a tourist has money and they want it does not a good store environment make. If you want to be verbally abused by out of towners and not have management actually take a stand this is your store. If I could give a real score there wouldnt be any stars on this rating.

Just popped in for a couple of items, one being ice cream and my husband approached an older woman that was bagging to see if Hannaford had ice cream bags, no longer have, but she came over to self check out with a brown paper bag and packed up our special treat. Great grocery store,friendly associates, management always there to help when needed. Variety of brands are limited. But only due to limited space. Very well stocked for the amount of square footage. Not too big, not to small, perfect for the size of the community, and big enough to handle the summer tourism. My hats off to the associates and management for the way they work together through the seasons.

My family of 7 are from southern NH, were passing through Meredith and stopped in Hannaford for a few items and to use the facilities. We were greeted by a manager at the door, who told us that our family members each had to remain 6 feet from one another, and 6 feet from all his associates, while in the store. We had our young children with us, and he said it was OK for them to remain close to us, but not the other children. I can tell from his face that he didnt want us in the store. Was it my wifes Asian descent a reason? Now, I know were in the midst of a certain hysteria, but this confrontation at the front door made me feel extremely uncomfortable and offended. We got our things and got out of there fast as we could, and it is unlikely I will ever visit this Hannaford again. I am also an Instacart shopper, and have visited many grocery stores the last couple weeks, and have received nothing like this kind of treatment. Thankfully, his associates were much more friendly and welcoming.

Clean and well staffed supermarket. Not quite a (super)market as it is a tad smaller than an average hannafords. However the employees and managers do a good job and are very polite. Great selection for a smaller store. Has a deli, pharmacy and fresh fruit and vegetables. Only negative I can say is the parking and human traffic during the summer is insane to say the least.

Over all a great grocery store, nice service, ok deals, a very hospitable staff, good selection, just would be nice if it was bigger

Decent and clean

Hannaford is awesome. We dont have them back home, so its always fun to walk around and see the variety of things available here. This is a great place for everything from beach accessories to snacks and drinks for the day. Everyone is friendly and wants to make sure youre finding everything you need.

The Hannafords in Meredith is okay if you are in the area and just need something quick. Like most places in downtown Meredith, its clean and crowded, a bit pricey and the parking lot is a real pain to get in and out of. If you are nearby its convenient.

We generally have a great experience here. The manager Rich is always friendly and stops to say hi, asks how were doing. I gave only 3 stars because tonight, the man working in the deli REFUSED to slice our cheese fresh. He said we had to get a package of the pre sliced. My husband told him hed prefer it sliced fresh and asked him to do so and the man working there said no, he wouldnt do it. Very poor customer service. We spend quite a bit of money here, weekly. We should be able to get items sliced at the deli. That is what its for, correct?

It was clean, well organized, and the staff were friendly. As a vegan I was happy to see they had some plant based options, but the selection of vegan friendly packaged items was somewhat limited.

Always out of the things we go Im to buy like Jumbo Eggs.

Its a not-to-bad grocery store for its size. Its not a massive store, but it has lots of interesting things, including frozen White Castle cheeseburgers!! Check out the NH kettle popcorn in the overstuffed bags. Lots if specialty beers. If it had 4000 more square feet, I would have given 5 stars.

The prices are competitive. The selection is good, but not great. They stick to a few basic brands of everything. Obviously, they are targeting the tourist market. I much prefer Hannaford to Heath s. Theres not a lot available in the area.

This is a clean store! It has fresh local produce, bakery that has excellent bread and baked goods, meats are fresh, and wide cheese assortment. Staff is friendly and accommodating!

This grocery, while a bit narrow in the aisles, has everything I need. Decent selection of produce, seafood, ethnic offerings, ice cream and beer. I am happy this grocery came to my summer home town.

The only real supermarket in town for miles. Hannaford has all your needs. Its a clean and well maintained store. Unfortunately. Its along the main road between Meredith & Center Harbor, so traffic and people are everywhere.... Especially during tourist season. But its your best bet if you live or vacation in the area. The only other market that is close is a tiny independent market with sky-high prices and not much for space.

Its a fine supermarket. The meat department is really good with lots of selection and high quality. The produce is good. Only complaint is that the frozen vegetable and vegetable side dish selections are quite limited.

Good supermarket. We were impressed that we were able to find everything we needed for an entire week in a lake cottage, with three small children, and being completely unprepared. Since then; weve made a stop here part of our regular visits to the lakes region, even though we usually stay about 30 minutes north at Squam (not Winnepesauke).

So disappointed with this store. There are specific items I buy here on a regular basis (plant based) and almost every single one has been discontinued over the years. Some of which I know others are buying because the shelves are being emptied weekly with shoppers purchasing. Guess I have to start shopping at Walmart they always have my grocery items in stock dont think there has been one discontinued plus they are consistently adding more items that work with my plant based lifestyle.
