I found great sale items like buy one get one free wines. There was free tastings of local and regional craft beers as well as wine and liquor samplings... Gift baskets for seasonal and every occasion.

Ive been staying in the area for a few months now and have been in here many many times. They always greet you with a smile. I had one bad experience and mark the owner more than made up for it the next day they are a little on the pricey side but I love supporting small local businesses and they are family run. Great staff great selection and willing to order anything u ask for.

We searched for a Wine Store on Google maps and this one showed up. They have a small, but great selection of wines with friendly, knowledgeable staff. We ended up buying 4 bottles of their exclusive wines. We also purchased two more bottles which resulted in 15% off discount.

Extremely expensive, this store should be ashamed with how high priced they are. I’ve shopped in liquor stores all over from cities/downtown FL to NH. This store by far took the cake. Wines that aren’t even good quality usually $7.99 anywhere else was $16.99 at this store. I told the workers that the store is way over priced an he replied like he has heard it several times but in a slightly defensive undertone “well they are what they are that’s it” . I didn’t get anything, I would spend less money driving else where. I will not be going there again or recommending.

Clean, convenient hours and pleasant staff. Have something for everyone. They are not a supermarket liquor store they still have a decent selection. Prices for some items are better elsewhere but not always. Its nice you can taste the beer or wine first.

Mark was super nice. He had everything I needed for a big party I was having. He took the time to walk through the store with me and go over everything I was getting. Great place and great people. I definitely recommend Valencia Liquors.

We live in Ohio but were visiting family in Connecticut. While here, we were looking for a particular microbrewery beer. Valencia was the only store I could find in the state that actually had it in stock. They have a fantastic selection of beer, wine, and liquor. And I can honestly say that I have never been to a liquor store with a friendlier staff. The two people who were working were very kind and had a great knowledge of Connecticut brewed beer. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the Meriden area.

The item I purchased cost more than I typically pay at other stores, but they had it in stock, and the staff was nice.

Family run and friendly. Prices are hit and miss. Some items seem pretty fairly priced others I swear I can get elsewhere by half. But the people are nice, its fast in and out; and usually pretty unoccupied.More Wine then Beer, More Liquor than Beer too. Most of it pretty main stream not much out of the ordinary.

Overall wide selection but poor customer service and had an unfriendly experience where I and my niece were removed from the store due to age although with boyfriend of clear age, I dont think it is as family friendly as their signs say if they would rather a child be left in a hot car. They have lost all our future business and we wont be returning. We also put back what we intended to buy..do not recommend!!!!!

They will order what ever you want. I had to order some Spaten Optimator and they received it under a week. I should have ordered more...lol!

Free wine and beer tastings at specific times (the sign is on the front door but Ive forgotten). And build a six pack for 6 bucks with decent beer! Most enjoyed beverage store in a while.

They have a lot, a little more pricey than other places but they have samples to try, great service and all kinds of uniqu stuff you might not find elsewhere.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Very poor communication and bad customer service. Was a fairly regular customer who signed up for a mailing list over 3 months ago and never even received any emails from this company. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

Good selection, but prizes are extremely high as much as 50% more expensive then other liquor wine places.... a wine bottle which i usually get for $9.99 I paid $14.99 here. Will NOT be buying from here again.
