I love this store. Always clean and nice staff.

This is one the smaller locations of this store and its selection is not as good as most. Through the more is quite obvious that the store is lucky its survived the mass closing because of how barren some of the spaces were. Heck they even only had one employee working the entire store.

This review is specifically for the FYE Backstage Pass in which I signed up for at this location. In December of 2020 I called up to cancel my membership. I was ASSURED multiple times that my membership was CANCELED. Sure enough, next month, I received a letter in the mail stating that I signed up for a discounted membership fee which I DID NOT consent to.I called today to cancel again and was told by the representative that according to FYE Backstage Pass that I willingly signed up for the discounted price which I did not. I pretty much got screwed. Hopefully this time its canceled. Overall, dont go for the Backstage Pass membership, because theyre shady when it comes to cancelation.The representative I spoke to in December straight up lied and without my consent, signed me up for the discounted price instead of just canceling my membership which I had to repeat numerous times for them to do. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE BACKSTAGE PASS. I will update if its actually canceled. I wont be shopping at FYE anymore after this. I feel lied to and cheated.Update: my membership was canceled.

Great selection of vinyls and collectibles

If you are looking for weird stuff this is the place. National Lampoons Cousin Eddie cereal, check. Cute stuffed animals that turn evil, check. Life size movie characters, yup they got those too.

This is the best FYE Ive been.

Andy was helpful looking out for my best interest and helped me save money on my purchase.

Used to have a much more fantastic music section (Go to Newbury Comics in Manchester for music!) but they DO have a nice, small vinyl section which usually has collectors edition vinyls as opposed to standard black 180 gram.

Signed me up for a paid monthly subscription without telling me as part of “how they have to sell it”. One star for the nice workers who helped us cancel.

Theyre extinct in NY so when I came across this one I was a kid in a candy store.

The store itself is pretty cool but the membership program is ridiculous. I was enrolled in it without my knowledge- they take your card info when you make a purchase and ask for your email and then you start getting charged monthly. You have to call to cancel even though they tell you you’re able to online at anytime. At one point I had my card locked because I could only afford my essential bills and I still got charged by them which overdrafted my account and cost me an extra $35. Then when you actually call they try to talk you out of canceling. Would consider only paying cash from now on or shopping at newbury comics or a similar store instead.

This store has a ton of neat stuff but its usually expensive. You can find some nice collectable items and cool theme t-shirts.

FYE is the perfect store for anyone who loves tv shows such as the office, are obsessed with FUNKO pops and who wants merch

Very nice store. They didnt carry the item I was looking for in the store, but the staff was very helpful and helped me order it on their kiosk so I can get it shipped to my house FREE. I appreciated their assistance. Just wish I could have found the item in the store as I would rather support the physical store location than online. Would happily stop back in if I was looking for something or just to browse their selection.

A month ago I went there and waited 5 minutes at the register patiently 4 the manager and workers to finish the conversation until I was giving an attitude so I decided not to purchase anything.... I gave him the benefit of the doubt assuming they were just having a rough day so I decided to come back. And today I was accused of touching CDs that I did not touch and was yelled at bye worker. Whats giving an attitude not to mention being followed around with a vacuum during business hours. This experience left me with an overall bad taste in my mouth so sadly I will not be returning to spend money and I took my potential $150 vinyl purchase to redscroll records in Wallingford... You guys can learn a thing or two from that place

They still have great stuff even though music stores are not so easy to find any more FYE is awesome.

Much smaller collection of music than there used to be. It is now very much focused around Geek Culture.

If your looking for entertainment FYE is the place to go. Picked up two t-shirts for Terrificon at Mohegan Sun and pre-ordered Avengers endgame movie.

Great place to find stuff that regular stores dont carry.Big Vinyl collection and turntables/needles and used cd/dvd collection. Also a lots of accessories for everything.One thing I dont bother with any more is their card offer with 3 magazine offers .No time to read them...

I was appaled by the service i got there. I went in and asked if they had Bryson Tiller’s TRAPSOUL on vinyl and was immediately told this is not a store for rap fans. I brushed that comment off and went to the vinyl section I saw some vinyls i would have bought that were a bit expensive but had I not recieved such terrible service I may have considered buying one. As I walked out I was told “dont think you will find it when you comeback again”. Because of this terrible service I refuse to go back to FYE again. So if you bad service abd overpriced music then FYE is the perfect place for you.

A store I could spend the rest of my life in. They have a little bit of everything for everyone.

Didnt buy anything today. Wish they wouldnt try customers to get the free magazines...when in fact the company charges the customer for the subscription and even when the subscription is cancelled the charges still go through.
