I didn’t buy, sell or pawn anything in the store. I did go in looking to sell some jewelry that had some sentimental value and didn’t want to let it go for just any price. I ended up leaving and going to another pawn shop to get a different price. Although, I’m choosing to hold onto the jewelry, Meriden Pawn gave me the best price by $100. They were kind when I said “no, thank you” and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Thanks for your time, greatly appreciated.

I won’t go anywhere else!!!! i’ve gone to other pawn stores and everytime im told i’ll get 40$ for a piece of jewelry worth 1000 plus!!! so walking in i was preparing for the worst. and i was extremely shocked at how much they offered me for old jewelry or even jewelry with missing gems. i’ve been there twice and everytime im greeted with amazing customer service and always offered top $ for items i no longer want!! thank you so much i will be back and will never go to another pawn shop!!!

After years of reliable service and great experience I finally see what all the negative comments are about. How are they gonna allow me to go months without paying in the past, let me catch up, and get my item out BUT now because they needed money they sold my PS4....like they dont have a protocol to get in contact with a CUSTOMER and ask hey you are behind do you still want this or not? A reminder? You work with a town full of people I get it but man why you guys have to do that? Ill never pawn here again.

I can honestly say this is by far the best pawn shop in Meriden CT by a mile. Mike the owner is a great guy and always takes care of me even if its his employees Frank or Amir. They give the best prices weather you pawn or sell youre items. I had gallbladder surgery back on November 13th and have been out of work since and Mike helped me out so I could actually get my stuff out. He cares about his customers especially those who do repeat business. I will continue to do business with MIke and his shop no matter what happens.

They are a scam the greediest people I have ever met taking advantage of people for their stuff go to any other pawn shop because they are only going to give you 5-10% of what you should get for pawning and selling. I would put them with the same morals as drug dealers and politicians. Remember if you go here they are making most likely a 200% profit from what they paid you.Do some research before you sell your items and you will find out that you can get much more by going some where else. Just give that a though before you give them your business.They offered me 100 dollars for an Xbox one x with out a controller so I called 4 other pawn shops all offered over 170 and game stop was 240 all I’m saying is do your research because that was not a fair offer.I also never said you were the best pawn shop. I said that you had offered more than the gold buying place down the street about some broken gold I had, still not saying much I’m not mad at the price it was the snobby way I was treated and disregarded because I knew the worth of my item and was not going to be hussled.

Went in expecting to sell a sterling silver chain Ive owned for a few years. The associates where busy chatting with some friends while I stood there. Once they finally helped I told the associate it was sterling silver, he tested it and gave me a pitiful price compared to other pawn shops. I bet they probally thought I stole it and knew nothing about it. I know silver isnt worth much and places usually just scrap it but the service was rude and they had very poor prices. Be careful here, and know the worth of your item.

I dont know how much these people were paid to lie, but this place is disgusting. I wont even walk in there by myself because I feel unsafe, they are so rude, and take advantage of women. We were in a bind and I needed to pawn my wedding ring, a very expensive wedding ring....They told me that I would get more money if I just sold it to them. Well I was desperate and decided to do so. They didnt even give me a quarter of what the ring was worth....stupid decision, please anyone going there think twice. The ads on tv and such are NOT TRUE. Youve been warned.
