Used to shop at the save a lot in manchester until it closed. Changed to East Hartford store and was disappointed. Found this location and was very please. I went at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday and found the employees to all be helpful and working. Very impressed. Store was well stocked and clean. Nice job.

Its nice to have a grocery store on this side of town. Its not Stop n Shop but they have the basics. If you shop the perimeter you can find produce, meats, dairy, and baked goods. The staff are courteous and helpful.

Great prices in the frozen section for after school ... clean, everyone wears a mask ...down side they charge you $.20 per bag ... the cashier said they charge $.10 tax per bag

I enjoy shopping at Save A Lot. The Save A Lot store brands are very good and they also carry some named brands too, unlike Aldi. The store is well stocked, the prices are fair and the employees are pleasant but look busy.

Very pleased with this store, prices are average and selection is good,what I spend here wouldnt get me nearly as much at the big chain grocery store. Its definitely a great place to shop especially in these days where your working more than you receive in pay. I have nothing but the best for this store and others like it

Off brands foods and kitchen needs. Prices are usually lower than more major named supermarkets. Quality of food is not too much lower than named brands, the amenities are sparce, but things move along okay. You have to do your own bagging. If you arent too picky on name brands, and like to save some money, Sav- A- Lot is where you do it.

Save a lot was one of the grocery stores until recently. There are now speed bumps every ten feet! I have a small car and its a stick shift. These speed bumps are so high and so many of them that getting thru the parking lot was a job in itself. Then I go to get a Push Cart only to discover that you know have to put quarters in to get one. I did not have a quarter on me so I got in my car and drove away knowing I would not be back there ever again.

Cant beat the prices here. Compares to what you get else where EX: 10 LB potatoes $2.00 russets LG potatoes and @Stop&Shop would be ?$5.00 I really find some great stuff. No matter where you go theres little things not perfect. Cant beat beef ribs I got for $1.99 for huge PKG weigh 5-6 lbs where else can you get the deal. Im a fan I can have food for almost entire month.

Low prices if thats what you need. Limited choices but thats how you get the lowest prices available

Save-A-Lot my favorite place to go and buy food at a reasonable price the problem is with Steve a lot in bearing a plaza where U-Haul is taking over they made it so difficult to go into the store they have bump bump stopper everywhere so its kind of hard on your car every time you go over 1 dont understand of reason but I wish they would relocate thanks U-Haul from messing up Save-A-Lot

Save-A-Lot was great a nice sale on their fresh cut meat on steak sauce on chicken whole chicken 99 cents a pound on steaks and on some pork chops that I got for a friend.

Waterbury location is much better

Save a lot does exactly that save you a lot. A great small store but it has it all at great prices.especially if you are on a budget..

Store needs to be organized better and cleaned up and its a shame they double the price for bags !

Its now my go to Grocery, great value, they are carrying more items . The other big name stores are near by but double the bill.

I likr this place, I like the folks in the front.However 3 star because on multiple occasions they have so called sale, and not enough product.Example 5 corn for $1. No corn in stock.$3.99 steak and on multiple occasions they said the meat cutter didnt put any out.Please supply yourselves with enough product when you have it on sale, while you just never know the gas folks burn to be turned back.I dont go through this anywhere else/there competitors.
