I have been fortunate to have gone many years without need for services from an auto body/collision repair service. When I got rear-ended on I-84 I had no personal experience to draw from to try and locate an honest and efficient provider. First I went to my insurance company and then local friends in the automotive care industry for references. Based on those references, and my experience during the estimating process, I chose COPE. They were dependable, friendly and willing to spend time with me during the long process of getting the work completed. I would absolutely recommend COPE to anyone in need of collision repair services.

I looked at Google reviews to decide where to take my car for repair. This place came highly recommended by many so I stopped in. First I was greeted with a not so friendly attitude. I then explained what I needed and was asked who the insurance is I was using. Quickly I was told sorry Ill be honest, they are really difficult to work with, never pay and honestly wont even do an estimate. I already had a check in my hand from the insurance company with my estimate. Was really discouraging. Especially not to even have it looked at. They may do great work but could definitely use some better friendly customer service skills !

I went to Cope for a minor front end collision for my blue pearl Subaru Impreza... I needed a new front bumper, paint matched to the rest of the car, and a bent side fender repaired/repainted. Initial pictures were taken at Cope which only took a few minutes, then the repair quote was sent to the insurance company that evening. I took the car in a few days after that, and about two weeks later it was ready. The quality of the paintwork done is really amazing. The paint color and sheen matches the rest of the car perfectly. It was advised that the fender didn’t need to be replaced, just repaired. I didn’t think that would be possible, being creased and dented on a rounded curvy area, but they fixed it to look brand new. I was really impressed. On top of the quality work, they sent text updates daily, letting me know where they were exactly throughout the whole process. That was really cool. This was a great experience overall. I will definitely be going back.

They refused to give me a quote upon seeing that my vehicle came from a branded title dealership. The big collision company in boise had no qualms about fixing my car. They were kind enough to be waiting for me because I called ahead but were dismissive and a tad rude when they saw my car.

They did a collision repair on my Toyota Tundra and I am very happy with the repair. The staff has excellent communication and received almost daily updates. I appreciate working with such a professional shop.

Have used Cope several times over the years. I have been hit as well as done damage myself. My cars have always come back looking great! The same people have worked there as long as I can remember which makes it nice. I know them and they know me. The new shop is beautiful but somethings remain the same, the service and quality are the reason I continue to return. Hopefully not for awhile!

Its easy to leave a good review when everything goes perfect, but in life things arent always perfect. When there are issues, that is when you find out the true character of a business. I had issues with my repairs and when I brought those up to Cope Collision, they went above and beyond to make things right. I could not have of been happier with the final results and highly recommend this company. They showed me they truly care about customers.

Scheduled an appointment to meet with an adjuster. After recommendations from a mechanic. Day of appointment I called to let them know I might be 5-10min late. The lady on the phone Our adjusters are taking time out of their lunch to meet with you, keep that in mind. I was so speechless. I told her so your telling me, their lunch is more important than assisting a new customer? Lol, Ill take my business elsewhere. What a joke of a company. Starting to think all these reviews are just paid actors. Gladly take my 4k check to a place who wants my business.

Great like new work! Things to note: make sure that they take a good look at the car and include everything in the quote, in my experience there was a large scratch on the bottom side of the handle that wasn’t included in the quote for whatever reason, while they had it off to fix the door they didn’t bother to paint the obviously scratched door handle. When I picked up the car and pointed this out I was met with an unfriendly at best comment. A few days later I notice the door panel wasn’t put back together well and now rattles. I’d like to see better customer service and better reconstruction.

Taking my vehicle in for bumper repair was literally the easiest process ever thanks to Cope. I felt like it was too good to be true. They communicate via text if you opt in (which I recommend) so that you can stay informed about every step of the process, including get a text when your car is ready and what to bring in. The staff is so nice and professional! I highly recommend this company :)

They had my car for over a week before they decided it was totaled and then they charged me $100 a day for storage. Worst experience of any body shop I have ever worked with.

A person backed into my truck. They provided a fair estimate and delt with the other persons insurance for me. Truck looks new.

I had the unfortunate displeasure of having brought my 2019 Toyota C-HR to this allegedly 5 star rated auto body shop on the morning of January 12th 2021 after waiting 5 days from my initial contact with them. After dropping off my vehicle I was informed that they would do an estimate soon and contact me with the details. I was also informed that they had loaner cars at their disposal for customers that didnt have rental vehicles on their insurance policies such as myself and I was very pleased to get this information. I called the receptionist twice on the 13th to inquire about the availability of the so called loaner car and I was told that they didnt know when one would be returned and that I was next on the list. During the second call I mentioned how I thought that it was odd that they couldnt give me any kind of time frame for when they would receive a loaner back to the shop and the front desk clerk blew up at me yelling that she didnt know when the loaner cars would be back and that other people were on the list as well. I was shocked at the abrasiveness and rudeness of her tone and I politely said that would be all and thank you goodbye. I then received a text from someone named scotty saying that they had the bumper off and had found more damage under the rear bumper and the estimate had been adjusted and my insurance agent had been notified. The following morning at 9:15 am I called and asked for scotty so I didnt have to deal with the rude receptionist and I got through to scotty and I asked him about the nature of the hidden damages and he explained them to me and then I inquired about the loaner car again and he explained that it would probably be the following Wednesday before one would be available and that I would have to pay the $500 deductible first. He then informed me that he still had to order the parts and I was astonished that they hadnt already been ordered seeing as how it was mid-afternoon when I received the text about the bumper being off and all the damages being found. I then mentioned about how as a result of the rude receptionist and the incredibly slow nature of their work would cause them to get a poor rating by me and then I was told that they were done with my car and that my car would be waiting for me in the parking lot with my rear bumper inside and at that I asked to speak with the owner and then scotty told me that he was in fact the owner. I then called my insurance agent who advised me on several other good body shops in the Boise area and I chose one and he immediately got a tow truck over there and had my car towed to the new shop. I communicated with the new shop later that afternoon to find out that the parts had been ordered already and that depending on the timeliness of the carrier and as long as the parts were the correct ones I could expect my car back by Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week most likely. I am so glad that I changed shops and I hope that no-one else is so unwise as I was as to choose this shop for their auto repairs

Backed up in a mailbox and it left a lovely little dent and scratches. Cope collisions gave me an estimate in minutes and worked with the insurance company to come together on their estimates. Car looks like it never happened - Im super impressed and would highly recommend.

I took my brand new Honda to Cope after being hit and they were amazing from start to finish. They got me in for an estimate the same day I called and were great about communicating with the insurance company. They sent me text updates every day throughout the process so I always knew what was going on. I just picked it up and it looks good as new! Highly recommended!

The repairs look good and the damage was more extensive ($18K) than the $3K the insurance company estimated. I understand they had some issues with getting parts, but still a very long time (27 days) to complete the repairs.

They provided us with great updates on the progress via phone calls and email the entire time it was in the shop; which was not a long time. I chose Cope Collision Center based on two parameters: they offer free loaner car and had great reviews. Something went wrong with my repair, though, so I cant give more than one star.First, my repair was relatively simple: I -- my own fault -- backed up in the parking garage not noticing metal hand railing and dented passenger side rear quarter and rear door of my Subaru. The speed was may be 2 miles per hour, probably less. Our parking garage has narrow turns and I was trying to squeeze into narrow turn while the other car stopped in the middle. At any rate, there was the damage, there was the quote. After they disassembled the car, they said they found about $2400 additional damage inside. OK, i am not a car mechanic, insurance agreed to pay, so go ahead, but this delayed repairs by almost a week.Second, today they texted me that everything is ready and I came to pick up the car and only to find top-to-bottom crack in the windshield right in the middle. Mechanic comes, looks at it as if he sees it for the first time and says: you had a chip in the windshield so when we were baking the car, windshield cracked. Not our fault. I didnt see any chips in the windshield when I was leaving the car for repairs, nobody told me that IF there are chips, they might cause a crack when the paint is baked. Again, I am not an auto mechanic, I didnt know that they bake cars when they paint them, did you? I know, however, that if you gradually increase and decrease the temperature the chance of cracking is close to zero. So was it because of the chip that supposedly was there or because of them rushing to heat and cool the car? And again, I didnt see the chip when I was leaving the car with them. In fact I replaced the windshield slightly over a month before leaving it there.Third, now that I know about the problem with baking causing cracked auto glass, I did a google search and found out that GOOD body shops do not bake the whole car. They paint parts that they are replacing and then bake ONLY THOSE parts and then install them on the car. No problems with glass!Fourth, their position is that I - or my insurance - are responsible for cracked windshield. I dont think so. It all happened when the car was in their care (and due to heir negligence) so its them or their insurance.For now I am driving in their loaner and if they dont replace the windshield voluntarily, I will have to take it to the court. But if you want to avoid surprises like that, you might want to look for another body shop.

This is absolutely the worst company to do business with in the state. Be sure to check with the Better Business Bureau before doing business with Cope. I was a young single mother awhile ago and needed repairs done on my car. Cope gave me an extremely high bid, and then wouldnt give my car back until I paid $75.00 for the estimate. I reported them to the BBB and was told that I should just get in line. There are many, many claims of bad service to plain old fraud against them. Be warned!

We needed our back hatch repaired on our vehicle and cope collision was great to work with! We’ve never used our insurance before but the process between our insurance and cope collision were very smooth. They gave me an estimated completion date of a week and ended up getting my car back to me a day early which was awesome. They also let me use their courtesy car while they were repairing ours. Overall it was a great experience and will use them again in future if needed.

This shop was excellent. I had repairs under an insurance claim after someone backed into me. When I got my car back, the very next day a check engine light came on and I PANICKED. They make it super easy to reach out via text, and they happily did a free diagnostic so that I could feel assured it wasn’t something related to the accident. It wasn’t!
