Great customer service and bike service on repairs. The staff in the shop were great. They did not try to sell me parts I didn’t need and made it a point to show me what repairs were actually needed. Definitely will go back for any future repairs. Highly recommend this place.

Went in to get a bike for my wife who recently had back surgery. We had help to find a good fit bike. It was not on the floor, but they assembled it and called us back that same afternoon. Friendly and fast service.

I cant say enough about you guys!!! Whenever I come in, youre super friendly, really knowledgable and WAY faster than I ever expect. This time I brought my bike in with shifting issues, not sure if it was the rear derailleur or shifter. I expected to drop it off and pick it up in a couple of days. Instead they put it right on the stand and before I knew it they had the derailleur aligned and had replaced the cable. Its been shifting smoother than it has in a long time, and I didnt even miss a commute day. I always send people to you guys because of this kind of service. Thank you!

I was very pleased with the customer service at Idaho Mountain Touring, Meridian. I was greet upon walk through the door by at least 2-3 people and the communication through out as I was getting my bike repaired was great. Only thing I would recommend is maybe having increase part inventory that might decrease the wait time for getting your bike back.

I am new to the area and was looking for a bike. My brother took me to Idaho Mountain Touring and I saw my bike as soon as I walked in. Customer service was excellent. Everything that I needed to know was explained in detail and I walked out feeling very satisfied. I highly recommend IMT.

I have gone to Idaho Mountain Touring for minor work on number of my bikes over the years. They have always been friendly and knowledgeable, and have gone above and beyond what I expected them to do for the price they quoted. They have answered my questions patiently (and sometimes multiply...Im apparently not mindful of most things mechanical), and always seem happy to show me around. Im so grateful theyre my local bike shop!

Great experience in buying my bike. I am handicap and needed something to help me move around. also needed a better bike to exercise my Husky. ive been looking at different bikes on the internet for a few months but really didnt know what to buy. So I decided to try to buy it locally . I called another store in meridian and they didnt carry ebikes. then i called Intermountain Touring. Sean was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns. I finally tried a couple of them and fell in like with the lighter Townie.Main reason is my bad back cant handle much weight..I then took it back and had the gears modified to make it go a little faster and fit my ability.There great at helping customers get what they want and need.I will recommend them to everyone.

The prices are no different than buying on line. I almost always find what I need and I like not having to wait for shipping. Lastly, I have been always been treated with respect and attention. All the employees are very professional.

I was there to reset the disc brakes of my bike. They have verified whole bike and make sure that there are no other issues. Infact, they addressed the minor ones. Appreciate Mr.Max.

I was looking for a specific size tire for a restoration project. A gentleman who I assume is the head mechanic preferred telling me I was wrong about the age of the wheel, rather than actually helping me find a tire. A different associate was able to help and was very friendly.

Disappointed every time I deal with them. I’ve tried over and over. It’s like dealing with a multi national mega corporation when it comes to policy, hardline stances immediately given by every employee when it comes to customer service. Every stance taken was bad for me, no reasonable accommodations or support. I have had no less than 5 bad experiences that would take too long to spell out. I’m now convinced that trek opened a factory store in Boise in response to how bad IMT is.

Your products rate very good to excellent. The service I received was over-the-top phenomenal. I went in to purchase a bike but was uncertain what I wanted or needed. Scott not only listened to me, but asked questions that helped me focus on my needs and helped him make thoughtful suggestions. I left with a bike that I am happy with, but also with a speedometer, kickstand, and other accessories.I wish your summer line of gloves had come in, but its early yet.

Friendly, knowledgeable folks and excellent service. I brought in a cruiser bike tire and tube with a defective valve stem purchased two Summers ago. They replaced it at no charge AND apologized for the defect. Rare! These guys know bikes and carry a great selection of accessories. I wont go anywhere else.

I enjoyed the few times I have been inside the store, they carry plenty of bikes, few more brands than most other stores might carry. Got some good advice on where to ride when you are just getting back into it. Hoping to get my next bike from them if I can get the right one at the right price. :)

The employees there truly listen to what their customer is looking for, if they dont have what we are looking for they will refer us to another location since everywhere is very limited on bikes.

I have shopped at other bike shops in Boise, but Idaho Mountain Touring had the best service I have ever had. They were knowledge about my needs, all while not trying to push me into a bike I cant afford. The best part was that my salesman Dax gave me his undivided attention. Unlike other shops where the salesman are working with multiple people at a time. Thank you Dax for putting me into the best bike for my needs!

I rarely participate in these surveys, but in this case I am happy to do so! Brian helped me out the first day I came in. Really helpful, NO pressure, just a really great atmosphere... Selected a bike, but was not dressed to test drive so he happily put it on hold for me. The next morning, I returned and worked with Cliff. Again, just a really wholesome atmosphere with no pressure. I really wish I could remember the tech guys name because he was great too. These guys TRULY want customers to understand the why behind the purchase, not just rack up the sale. In todays world, this is gold in my opinion. I live in Emmett, but Ill look for reasons to head into town and just hang out with these guys to gain more knowledge. Thanks!

There is a wide selection of quality outdoor gear. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and willing to provide advice on anything from favorite ski or mountain bike routes all the way down to what kind of wool socks are best. I’ve never felt rushed and have always had quality service done to my gear. I’ve taken many different bikes for tune ups as well as my skis. I won’t go to another shop!

Yes, they are a bike shop. But they also have a ski tech shop that does superior work. Are you particular about the work done on your skis? Then this is the place to bring your skis.

Cliff and the other employees I worked with were extremely helpful and friendly. They were genuinely interested in solving the problem I came to them with. It was really nice to go there and not get bombarded with a sales push or somebody that was too busy to help me out. We got my problem solved and I came away pretty happy about the whole thing. The staff clearly puts the satisfaction of their customers as their top priority over everything else. They will bend over backwards to earn your business. They make you feel welcomed, and that you belong there, and are not under any pressure to make quick decisions. They take the time to properly fit you, and to make sure that you are buying the right product.

I liked that the staff at Idaho Mountain Touring gave me good advice about an upgrade for my mountain bike. They didnt try and sell me on the most expensive product, but instead they asked me about the kind of riding I do and then gave me a recommendation based on that and their personal experience mountain biking. They were right on the money with their advice and Ive been really happy with my purchase. Id recommend IMT to friends, unless theyre really adamant about buying a boutique brand bike.

My son was having a problem with his bike and we took it in to have someone look at it. I I have to give Justin a big thank you for his help. Stopped in for the first time just to pass some time. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman named Cliff who welcomed me in and encourage me to browse around. He didnt seem put off at all that I wasnt a big spender, which made me wish I needed something. The store was super clean and well organized. After about five minutes Cliff came over and asked if I had any questions. We chatted a bit about the cruiser bikes and he was super kind considering I didnt know a lick about them. I will definitely return.

I had rented from 2 bikes from another place and went in to Idaho Mountain Touring for an extra tube and CO2 tank thingy. Great service.They saw me shuffling my lock and schtuff around outside and came to greet me with Cmon on in, bring the bike in too. Great service. Great inventory. After I got all the things I came in for, they entertained my random questions about new cycle-cross/gravel-bikes in stock.I noticed the guys name tag, could have been Alex. I might have forgotten it since. Anyways, he was great and the store was great. 6/5 in my book.

This place is exactly what Im looking for when it comes to customer service. Sons chain jumped off and was horribly twisted. After my own attempts at repair failed, I reluctantly took the bike in to get repaired. After hearing that the wait time was a couple of weeks out, I figured Id go look for another shop when Karl informed me he would just do it real quick. Not only was everyone in the shop great, they took care of a problem I couldnt solve and charged an extremely fair price too. I will be going back for all my bike tune-up, repair, and accessory needs.
