Bought a tree at Victory Greens & they planted it for Free! (small delivery fee and a tip to the outstanding men who delivered and planted our tree! We love our new Chokecherry Tree and the service that Victory Greens provides in delivery and planting is unbelievable! Great selection & prices! I highly recommend Victory Greens!!!

Bought a 3 year old maple tree a year ago and noticed the top was dying. Contacted them several times for suggestions on what to do and no response.

I purchased a tree on Friday and it was delivered and put in the ground on the following Monday. The gentleman that sold me the tree gave me good and honest information about my selection and the two men who brought the tree to my home prepared the hole, placed the tree, filled in around the tree and staked it were very knowledgeable and courteous. They also provided me all of the information on the tree care and timelines for care. Excellent service from everyone.

I orded 10 tons of gravel from here. The process from the beginning to the end was phenomenal. The young gentleman who helped me confirm how much gravel I needed, was super nice and helpful. Misty who then delivered the gravel went above and beyond!!!! I highly recommend Victory Greens

These folks are stellar! They are very knowledgeable, helpful, honest and their first priority is to their customers. I have been a customer of this location for probably two decades now, but it has been many years since the last time I have been here. They have done a great job building up this facility and it is clean and well organized! There is a drive thru for load outs of truck load materials, and the employees took the time to explain what I needed and gave me a book that shows the steps, and sold me the correct material the first time. Their prices are higher than a few other places, but I’d rather pay a bit more to support this “OG” Boise area business.

We purchased a yard Snake River Pea Gravel, and had it delivered. The customer service was great. I was walked through the options and setting up delivery was easy. We had JR as our deliver driver, and he was great. He called to see if he could come early, and was willing to back up the truck into a fairly tight area. My husband and I are happy

After calling multiple places to try and get sand, not only were they fair in their pricing but also faster than everyone else we called. Plus theyre driver Misty was absolutely amazing!! Hands down some of the best customer service in the Treasure Valley!!

I purchased a new home a little over a year ago. The landscaping was done in the front but I had to do the landscaping in the back. I went to Victory Greens for all of my landscaping needs and experienced great service. The sod that I purchased from Victory Greens is a much better quality than the sod that was installed by the builder. Even today which is over a year from instal the quality of the sod is apparent. I also purchased around 8 yards of rock that looks great. Will continue to use Victory Greens for my landscaping needs.

Victory Greens is the only place to purchase all your trees, plants, fertilizer, rock etc. Customer service is excellent. We are repeat customers. Had a tree planted today by Ray and Craig who were top notch. Very personable. They let us know how to care for our new tree. When the job was done you would not even know they were here. They have a very nice selection of quality products although as is the case with everything since COVID some items in inventory are low and the availability is weeks or months out. Very knowledgeable and kind staff.

I see they post lots of good reviews. I a while back ordered some lava rock. We had discussed the red lava rock and I thought that would be fine since thats what I kind of had in the front. Then he said there was also black lava rock I said no that wouldnt better I want black lava rock. So I paid the $50 delivery fee and the whatever the per yard was and the gentleman got here with red lava rock. Long story short I got a hold of him I said I didnt want red I told you I wanted black. They wanted to charge me another $50 to redeliver even though it was their issue. They basically called me a liar I will never do business with victory greens ever again. This guy was a real piece of work. Thanks for listening

Good selection of bark and rock, but was pretty disappointed in the number available and selection for bushes, flowers, and grasses in the fall.

I thought they were the only place in the area by the way they do business. Cant even say they have customer service. Sure didnt feel like a customer.I let the delivery snafu slide. Stuff happens. Although reading some reviews leads me to believe that they have issues with making accurate on time deliveries.The people in the trailer are useless. No effort to help and a guy in the background making faces. Pretty funny stuff.Ill go out of my way to use another company and wont use a landscape company that uses them.

There are better places for plants, and much cheaper places for most types of gravel, but Victory Greens is the best place Ive found for bulk flagstone. They have a large variety of sandstones (mostly from Arizona) and harder stuff (from southern Idaho). I bought three enormous pallets of sandstone here and was very happy with it.

Great service! Had rock delivered, it was smooth as can be. The driver in the white delivery truck was also exceptional and quite a genuine guy. I would recommend victory greens and their delivery driver 100x over!

Pretty clean for a brick and block place but they do a good job of maintaining it. Price wise it seems high but they do have a good selection. We didnt look at the nursery part of the business so I cant comment on that.

Wanted to purchase a tree. Talked to an associate. She said the columnar apple tree we were looking at was on sale for $65. Got to the front to pay. They said those trees were $125 Totally unprofessional. Walked away from Victory Greens again. This is our 3rd time with the same thing happening The price always doubles at the check out! Their continual dishonest pricing is ridiculous. They did not want to do business with us. Buyer beware!

This place is truly amazing. We have bought multiple trees, bushes, rock, and sod and had the best experience. Customer service is top notch. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.

We stopped in today as a first-time visit. The customer service was shockingly bad. The woman at the desk made us feel like we were a nuisance and did nothing at all to help us look for shade trees. She didnt seem to have any sense of their inventory or where to find things and made no effort to connect us with anyone who did. We walked around the grounds for a bit to try to see what they had. Nobody offered to help, nobody said hello, nobody asked what we were looking for. Just terrible customer service. Definitely no way well go back or ever purchase from them.

Purchased gravel from them last week. We were told that they would call 30 minutes before delivery. You also don’t get your receipt until they deliver the stone. The person who sold it to use wrote down the wrong stone. We weren’t home when they delivered since they didn’t call. If we had the receipt we would have seen they wrote down the wrong thing or if we were home we could have told them it was the wrong product. Called and was told it is already on the driveway so not their problem.Now we have try to sell this and we are out the $75.00 delivery fee.

Do not buy trees from this place. They guarantee their trees but do not honor their warrantys. asked several times about a failing tree immediately after planting it and deep watering as instructed. Multiple other trees on the property are doing fine. The people that work there are very nice but the owners are con artists. Buyer beware.

Dont waste your time here. Brought in some stone to see if they had it in stock and was told you can go check. Also asked to buy some flagstone and was told its out there somewhere you can load up what you need on the cart. Not exactly good customer service.

Aldo and Dennis just planted a tree at our house. They did a great job and were very helpful. Really impressed.

I needed soil for filling garden beds and called to get help estimating how much I would need. The lady in the office accidentally estimated over double what we needed, which we realized at delivery. Despite everyone agreeing this was 100% the fault of Victory Greens it took 5+ phones calls and 10 days to get them to pick up the excess. It then took another dozen (not even kidding) phone calls to get a refund. The customer service and communication is just terrible!

I must say I had a great time there, They took me on a golf kart to let me pick out the trees i wanted then I picked out some pavers they loaded them for me and they were all very kind going to go back today and pick out some new rock for my yard

I stopped in to Victory Greens after shopping for some plants and stone at Lowe’s around the corner. Got lost and ended up in the Rock yard, where a polite guy named Jameson helped me find the paver stones I was looking for at Lowe’s and walked me up to the nursery to find someone who could help me with plants and shrubs!

We bought a replacement tree at Victory Greens this spring. The whole process was a very good and professional experience. From choosing a tree based on what we wanted and the specifications of the space to the delivery and planting. DeAndre and Judah called to let us know they were enroute to plant. They were quick, efficient, ensured the tree was straight and secured. Both answered questions about care and best watering habits. The only surpise in the process, was that I did not know the stake for securing the tree was not included in the original sale. I happened to have the $15.00 in cash to cover that need. I look forward to seeing our new tree contiune to grow and know I can contact VG with any questions.

I have debated whether I should leave a review or not, but I have done further research and have learned a lot lately, so Im hopeful my review will at least help someone else from buying the garden soil from victory greens.Their garden soil is marketed as 70/30 blend of topsoil and compost. The mix I got had a ton of rocks in it and it compacted down with the first rain after I put it in my raised beds (I expected some settling but it has quite literally formed large slabs of hardened soil).Originally I messaged someone on Facebook marketplace about gravel. I was given quotes and I had to ask if they were associated with a company- which they did say yes, victory greens, but the communication between the staff I had messaged with and the person who called me to schedule delivery was lacking and I ended up getting 3/4 inch rocks and not the gravel that was pictured in the image on Marketplace- which is what I originally wanted (not that big of a deal, it was just a base for our shed that will be installed next week).I was told I could get 8 yards of product in a delivery fee of $75. So I decided to ask if they had a garden mix - which I wanted to purchase 6 yards of to total my 8 yards of material (with 2 yards of gravel). The person I spoke with said since it would need to be a split truck delivery they would have to charge an extra $25, and that they can only put 5 yards of product of either side. So I downgraded to 5 yards of garden soil and 2 yards of gravel.I scheduled a delivery 2 weeks in advance and asked a couple times for a time estimate for the delivery- was told its impossible to give a time estimate because they dont do the schedule until the day of the delivery (okay, fine). To top it off, they had the same delivery driver come out to my home in Nampa- TWICE, once with the rock (not gravel I wanted) and a second delivery about an hour later with the soil. So what was the point of paying for a split truck and why couldnt I get the 6 yards of soil I wanted originally?I was confused about the whole transaction and as time has gone by I have been realizing more rocks and heavily compacted soil- not good for gardening in. So now I have to find a spot to put the soil that I cant plant in and still need to purchase a better mixture for my garden this year. What a headache and a waste of nearly $400 this has been.

I am so disappointed. We have used victory 4 times over the course of 10 years to purchase and plant trees. In the previous three I have been asked about orientation and I saw that the trees were planted properly ( large hole, trunk not buried, watered properly ect ). Based on what had been a good experience, I noted the poor reviews but decided Id give them a shot. The tree I purchased was planted today. Because of the reviews I went out afterward and dug down a bit to check how it was planted:1. The wire cage was still fully enclosing the root ball and buried...2. The burlap had sort of been cut, folded back ( maybe 2 in ) and buried just far enough that it wasnt obvious that it hadnt been removed. The entirety of the burlap was still on the tree. Note this was a 16ft tall tree so it had a good 3 ish foot root ball.3. I was told on purchase that root stimulator would be applied ( I was kept from purchasing some myself to save me money ). The tree was completely bone dry when I went out to check it. In fact I figured out that my outside spigots on my house are apparently connected to irrigation water and not turned on yet ( which is a different problem ) so there is no way the could have watered or diluted the root stimulator properly. I was not asked if they could use my water, so no way did they do what they said they would do.4. The trunk was buried about 5 inches before the roots started. Another good way to kill a tree. I would have gladly thrown the dirt out if I had know there was too much in the area...5. Not wanting to put the company on blast for something that could be a performance issue, I called told them my concerns only to be condescended to and told that the burlap would be a nice snack for the tree and not be a problem.... What?!? A quick Google search will tell you to remove the wire at least and the burlap at least half way if not all the way.Its no wonder people are having their trees die. What a sleezy operation. I am so sad as I used to love working with this company.Buyer beware

Went to get rock and had an amount in mind. The sales guy insisted i needed way more then what i had figured based on my measuements pushed me in to buying what he insisted i needed. Paid 3 times what i should have. Now i have a pile of rock sitting in the corner of my backyard.

Purchased 5. Arborvitae trees last April and one didn’t look as healthy as the others. Well within 3 months it was brown so we called the nursery and was told to call back next spring when they them in stock again.We asked if we could cut it down and was told that was okay and they would dig it up and replace it.Well here we are in the spring and now there telling us we have to pay 50%of the cost of the new tree.They directed us to the back of the receipt where it states that as a policy.At no time during our conversation about replacement when it died was this brought to our attention.I won’t by a stick from this place again!

Tim got right back to me and took my order for some garden stone. He knew exactly what I wanted and was able to have it delivered on the day and time I needed it with short notice. This felt like small town customer service. Friendly and efficient. The stone was priced right and the delivery fee was more than fair. The gentleman that delivered called me when he was on his way and dumped the stone exactly where I wanted it. I am more than pleased with the customer service and product. I will shop here first for all my stone and garden needs. Truly professionals that value the customer.

HORRIBLE place!!!! Sold us $12,000 4/2020 in Arbs and they almost all died, said they were a sick batch and would be replaced and instead charged us for more trees. They DO NOT stand behind their trees. I see many others were also sold the bad batch of trees- and its time we all go to BBB and start filing claims against this company for selling us all sick ARBS. Its obvious we all got bad Arbs and the company does not care.

Ive been getting some Rock and Top Soil from these guys. I have had no issues at all. Everyone I have talked to has been super helpful and nice to work with. So far I have gotten 2 yards of Rock and 4 yards of Soil. They load me up quickly and carefully. Ill be back for more. :-)

I called Victory Greens at the beginning of the summer and told them I needed soil for a raised garden bed and what were my choices. She recommended a blend of topsoil and compost already mixed together. Im not sure what they brought me, but nothing wanted to grow down in the soil. My carrots were all about 2 long and all of the other plants looked horrible. I called them later in the summer to find out what it was they had actually delivered and she said they dont use a computer and just write out the receipts so she couldnt tell me. She kept saying, gosh, I wish there was something I could do, but Im just like the woman at the gas station when gas prices go up to $4 per gallon and everyone is complaining. Very strange. I hung up and wont go back. Before you blame this situation on bad gardening, this is about my 15th raised garden.

Worst customer service, over priced, and you wont get what you pay for. Avoid them, seriously. Tried to warn family that was looking to get trees and they also experienced their horribly customer service and products when most of their trees died. I did a landscape project. The soil and products were not even close to what they said they were. Extremely late with delivery, followed zero direction to location of dumping, and were non responsive to calls and emails that the soil they delivered was more gravel than the expensive garden soil mixture that I ordered. Also blocked my neighbors and my drive causing even more issues. PLEASE avoid them

We needed privacy fast, so we bought arborvitae from V.G. because they were the first open & selling. We made sure out space was completely flat like they told us & paid the extra money to face them plant them. ONE month after one died & even after repeated calls & emails with pictures they refused to do anything & got quite rude. Now half of what we bought have died & the 1 yearwarantee they offer simply makes us give them MORE money. We took samples to zamzows to try to figure out what happened & were told they were root damaged during planting. PLEASE DO NOT buy trees from them!!!

Owner wont take responsibility for his workers damaging peoples vehicles. One of the employees ran a skid steer into one of my friends vehicles and damaged it. The owner, Tim, refused to take responsibility and wouldnt offer to pay for the damages. I would stay away from this business, you can find better pricing and way better customer service elsewhere.

I used to get all the topsoil for my clients here but recently it has been full weeds.

I paid 475.00 for a tree to be delivered and planted. They were booked out a bit so I was given a date a couple weeks out for the actual delivery.On the day of delivery I called them in the morning and asked if I needed to be home or if they could plant it with me being gone. They asked that I mark the location where I wanted it planted and I wouldnt need to be there. I drove a stake in the ground and left.I came home to no tree, no phone call....nada. I waited 4 more days thinking they were backlogged and would get to me eventually. Still nothing.Today I went to their lot and looked for my tree. It was no longer there, the whole row of trees was gone. I spoke to the person at the counter and explained the above. He went into an office and came back out to begin the refund. The irritating part beyond that was what he wrote on the receipt... Tree Cancellation. I didnt cancel the tree, Victory Gardens didnt deliver or call. No further explanation was given.I was sadly disappointed and Im still waiting for the refund to come through. On the plus side, they have a beautiful facility and its nice to walk through.***48 hours for the refund to come through***

April update: They are all dead now. Really miss the days of standing in my yard looking at my dead trees listening to victory greens manager telling me they are not dead..workers and sick trees. Purchased about $2,000 arborvite eight 8 tall. All but two died and they were so rude to me while I tried to work to save them. I did everything I could because I wanted the privacy they were planted for and to protect my investment. They could have cared less. Rude good ole boys. Several tree professionals tell me Victory Greens planted them too deep.

Awfully rude staff. Such a scam of a company! We had a much better experience with Guthrie stone and Cloverdale nursery. Victory greens damaged my vehicle and then, after promising to make it right and pay for the damage, told me they aren’t liable! What a bunch of con artists and trash humans! If you’re a good company, you will comment on this to make things right and pay for what your reckless loader did.

WARNING!! This place is terrible and will damage your vehicle/equipment. They do not properly train their loader operators. They do not care about their customers or quality of work. I purchased multiple yards of rock and left with a damaged truck. The loader drove so recklessly that he had rocks pouring down the sides of the bucket and dumped all down the sides of my truck. Dented and scratched paint on tailagte and sides of bed. Immediately reported the incident to the on shift manager. He took pictures and told me this was a REOCCURING issue with this operator and also said he would get the owner involved and make sure this situation was resolved. Nearly 3 weeks go by and the owner, Tim, ignores my phone calls and emails. Tim does not care about his customers as he ignores me and continues to employee the same operator!! They will be held accountable one way or another but I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This place is amazing I have bought 4 trees form here!!! They came out and planted the trees and did such a great job installing into my current landscape! You couldn’t even tell they were just installed!!! Very clean work great job guys!!!

My experience was out standing. After looking at several garden centers and nurseries, my wife and I were given a tour of thousands of large mature trees and found the perfect one. The free tree planting went down exactly as they said and we are customers for like. Thank you Victory Greens!

Wouldnt trade these guys in for nobody else

I was a little worried about all the bad reviews about this place, but I didnt have any problems. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the dude who loaded up my sod.

Spent over $2 k on trees and shrubs.... some died weeks after planting by company. Only half my money credited. Unanswered emails, phone call messages, put off time and time again about reimbursement. No customer service after they have your money.

Great prices on rocks.

Victory greens landscape crew were working on my neighbors yard. They had their truck and trailer blocking out driveway. They were using a wheelbarrow picking up sod while it was raining and got mud all over our driveway sidewalk and street. We asked them to move the vehicle and clean up there mess. They kept the work vehicle where it was till they were finished and sprayed the mud into the street and did not clean it 100%. I called and spoke to a manager and nothing came from it. I’ve bought trees and rock from victory greens but I will not do any business with them again after this experience. Signed disappointed old customer

I had a most wonderful experience here! Everyone was easy going, no pressure sales and most of all, helpful. I’m planning an entire back yard and they had so many tips and suggestions, I certainly felt like they cared about what I wanted. Five stars for these guys for taking such good care of me.

Deandrae and Judah delivered and planted two trees for me. They were friendly and professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They made quick work of a hard job, and took the time to answer a question I had about another tree on my property.

I called Victory Greens with a question regarding employment. They said they had openings. When I started to talk, the person on the phone said Im sorry I dont have time for you now and hung up. Not even a, can I put you on hold ? or anything youd expect someone representing a business to say. I thought that was some real poor customer service. Hopefully that was a fluke.

First time customer, was very pleased with my experience. Tim helped us right away and drove us around property on a golf cart. We were replacing a tree that died and he knew exactly which tree we should consider. The process was quick but not hurried. So excited to get our new tree planted! Will definitely be back and highly recommend. I wish more businesses were like this.

Was helping a friend load her truck and the ran a skid steer into the backside of it. When we called them out and asked them to pay the damages they completely denied it. When we watched them do it. How sad these people to deny something that was watched is ridiculous. Watch where you guys park and make sure you have cameras watching theyre workers you cant trust them.

Ive stopped here to pick up a couple yards of gravel, and the service was very fast and efficient. I was surprised by how little time it took to get in, pay, and get out. Also, I havent purchased a tree here, but I spoke to an employee who was very knowledgeable and able to give me some advice on keeping some trees on my property healthy. They would get my business if the need for landscaping arises.

I have to take a moment and give a shout out to Kent and Susie, they both went out of their way to help me with a tree and some stone and landscape timbers. An issue came up with delivery and planting of the tree, but they handled it and made me feel great as a customer. The planting crew were awesome and quick! I will definitely be back!

Great selection of trees/shrubs and landscaping rocks. They offer delivery and planting services. Not friendly or very helpful when dealing with them on the phone regarding upcoming shipments of new products/availability of existing products. Ive seen lower prices, especially for trees/rocks, at nearby businesses. Trying to find someone to tag a tree or help with a purchase is virtually impossible, none of the employees wear work shirts. Some employees are unprofessional and smoke while interacting with customers.

Probably one of the best sales experiences of my life. In March my wife and I came in looking for some trees for screening against our back fence. Tim listened to us, helped us pick out the PERFECT trees and helped us arrange delivery AND installation for an unheard of price! His attitude throughout the 45 or so minutes that we were there really showed how passionate he and the other employees are about what they do. The delivery came a few days later, and let me tell you...these guys were friendly, had great attitudes, and work HARD! They asked along the way if things were looking good as they dug the holes and set the trees in where we had specified we wanted them. I got good advice on care right before they left. They took all the old soil with them, so you couldnt even tell they had been here except that these trees look amazing! We have used Victory Greens in the past, but we are finally reviewing them on Google. Their inventory is impressive, and we will be back again and again. Very satisfied customers!

We feel confident in purchasing there because they have always answered our questions well. We use them exclusively now for all of our landscaping needs at our primary home and investment property. This used to be a decent place to get materials for jobs(mulch, rock, etc.) They have declined, prices are not what they used to be and customer service can be poor depending on who you deal with. I have purchased a LOT of material here in the past and against my better judgement went back after taking a break for a while due to customer service and poor product delivered. I was not impressed. I was interested in 15-20 yards of mulch but needed a small amount of soil to fill in a few spots first. I tried to do what i have done a hundred times in the past and buy a yard(they dont sell halfs or quarter yards like other places) but i only wanted to take 1/2 with me and possibly come back for the other half if it was needed. The boy working the booth was confused and had a bit of an attitude so i left. If he was refusing to do so for a logical reason i understand but i was willing to pay for a full yard which is only $35 to begin with and in the past they just sign off on half when you take it and the other half when you come back. I also needed to schedule that 15-20 yards of mulch to be delivered, so they missed around $1,000 and future business because it was to complicated to only scoop half the bucket of dirt and the boys attitude at the booth. I have received a lot of moldy mulch due to them not turning regularly in the past so i should have listened to my gut instinct in the first place. Hopefully they can get the place back in order because it is conveniently located.

I’ve had great service from these guys. They even helped with a rock delivery to bring the material right where I needed it where others would not.

Top notch experience and knowledge. Deandre and Juda planted our three large trees. They were very professional and courteous. We couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to go back and pick out round two of trees we need.

Victory Greens has been amazing to work with and have made me confident in their experience and ability to take care of me whenever Ive had concerns or issues. Ive bought 10 trees from them now and will still highly recommend them. Id had some issues with 2 of my maple trees and they were able to identify the issues and recommend treatments that helped the sick trees improve and flourish. Bobbi absolutely stellar to work with, and the owner has made me feel like a valued customer that he cares about keeping long term. Not only are the prices great, and their trees carry a warranty, but the installation and delivery price are the best in the valley! They are very explicit about their warranty requirements, one of them being keeping the original yellow receipt. That being said, I would recommend that you keep this yellow receipt in a filing cabinet or somewhere safe for the first year.

I love how on their new commercial they just throw a tree in a hole, burlap, wire basket, twine in all and just cover it up! We remove so many trees that are 5-10 yrs old that are girdled from just this, but hey at least the install was free haha!

Tim, the owner came out late in the day with Adan and Raul and did a fantastic job of taking out two old trees and planting a new one. Everything looks great, professionally done and a great price. Pick Tims brain for tree advice too, hes good.

Have always loved their selection and for the first time today had them also plant the trees we purchased. The crew was great to work with!

Doing business with this company was pretty awesome from the moment I stepped on the property!The staff is SO hopeful, First the young man who stopped what he was doing to walk me over to where I needed to be, to Bobbi and Susie making my purchases fun and affordable! They are SO knowledgeable about the trees - by the way! And in the end I bought two gorgeous trees!When it came time to have the second tree delivered and planted, it was much larger than I had anticipated, and my regular landscaper wasnt able to finish the job, so after a call to Victory Greens, they were able to get the project finished so fast that Im still reeling from it!The trees I purchased are healthy, and beautiful! The staff know so much about the trees its pretty amazing and most importantly - they made my tree buying experience FUN! They provided free education and showed the best customer service Ive had since Ive moved to Meridian!I want to thank Bobbi, Susie, Tim and all the rest of the amazing staff (I apologize for not getting everyones names in here!) for helping me when I needed help and creating a new loyal customer!
