It took 1.5 - 2 HOURS to pick up a simple scooter. The amount of customers was no more than a typically day. No one appears to be in much of a hurry and the customer service is horrendous. The reps were kind, yes, but there is no consideration for time spent or efficiency. I would suggest appointments.

My husband is on oxygen and thank god we have a big machine at home because there is no urgency to deliver oxygen tanks. He needs Mobile tanks to get to work and I set up to have some delivered Monday and they said it would be Tuesday, then moved to 3pm weds now won’t be till 5pm. I would suggest if you need oxygen have someone go pick them up because delivery is not good. I do understand being busy but if that is the issue let the customer know so they can pick supplies up themselves.

Called about a non medicine piece of equipment I needed. It was merely a clamp for a tube. Person who answered the phone said that yes they had the piece, even quoted me a price. My wife made a special trip to get it. The receptionist, while enjoying her lunch said we needed a prescription. Why was I not told that when I called about availability? The receptionist said she had no idea, while she continued to eat. Is this a professional business or just a group of people that have no clue?Update:Brent, Manager, called me back and personally resolved my issues and i got what I needed. Employees need to follow Brents example of customer service! Thanks Brent ! Raised to three stars.

They were great to work until they went to their secure email system, andits become a complete nightmare trying to reach out for food. I agree with the person who said theres not enough competition to make these guys care. It used to be a 1 minute task to order food. Ill still use them until I find an alternate, then I refuse to be slowed down by a stupid email system. Guess Ill drive to to ask them to send for where I was just at.

I arrived here as a walk in. I was greeted by friendly staff. I was nervous. I usually get my incontinence supplies online. But didnt have time to wait for them to be shipped to my house. The employees here were very understanding and helpful helping me find the right supplies for my needs. They sold me the attends poly briefs. Aloe wipes and reusable bed pads to keep my bedding dry at night. Everything they sold me was reasonably priced and high quality. The briefs work very well. No leaks. Very happy with them. I will return to norco in the future for all my incontinence supplies. Thank you norco 😁

Extremely rude. I took my 80 year old mother in to look at walkers and a scooter after she fractured her hip. There were no signs that said we had to get in line at customer service to check in and be called on like a doctor appointment so we proceeded to take a look around. Mother sat in a Walker and was rudely told their equipment wasnt designed for such use and she would have to get off it. No explanation. Just rudeness. So we go look at the scooters and cant get any assistance until a woman calls across the room asking if we need help because if you want help then you get in line and sign in. No politeness in her condescending voice. There was no line and someone could have walked over and let us know the procedure. We left and bought the same scooter for 1/3 the price on Craigslist. I dont deal with snide, rude people over charging. We wont be back.

I have just became a CPAP user and Norco is my vendor. I picked up my device this week and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. I think my experience was so great because of Nick Hudson and Emily Grant. They fitted my mask, did a thorough demonstration outlining how to use the machine and a complete explanation about what to expect. They make the entire process an extraordinarily easy experience. Nick and Emily are to be commended for their skill, knowledge, communication ability, and patience. I couldnt be happier!

I really like the fact that I get a notification when I’m due for new supplies. I go in and select the supplies I’m eligible for which I need and I get a message that it will be reviewed and they will contact me if they need any further information. But I get no notifications when something has shipped or any tracking numbers. All the website says is “assumed shipped“. This is a very vague response and not informative. The website should show The tracking number and anticipated delivery date so you can be home to receive the supplies.

Unacceptable that you did not give my mother paperwork or have her acknowledge that a wheelchair needed to be returned. Shes been paying a monthly rental fee for something that she has no longer needed for a few months. This is an elderly person on social security. Had I not discovered this, she would have not known that she shouldnt be paying this anymore.

My son was born at 25 weeks and 6 days. He has a feeding pump, special nutrition needs, and he came home on oxygen from the NICU. Norco has been so helpful, friendly, and quick. Yesterday my son’s dietician prescribed a new type of prescription food to help him gain weight and hopefully throw up less. Norco had it thru insurance and ready for pickup in less than a day. So grateful for them.

They exemplify what i believe are outstanding qualities of representatives for Norco.Susan M. took the time to find me the perfect C-PAP equipment and was fast! She was beyond polite, professional and I was throughly impressed. If you need help with anything C-PAP related, Susan, in my opinion, is the best person for that help. She not only knows the C-PAP supplies, but was very quick to find what I needed after listening to what I was having trouble with. She was also very friendly, and did not spend any unnecessary time helping me find the perfect equipment .Samuel E. is a wonderful and compassionate customer service rep. that helped me after I received some incorrect equipment. Not only was he professional, but also friendly with a great sense of humor (which seems to be in short supply these days). He was fast and efficient. Norco has all the supplies needed but they are a very frustrating business to deal with. They have repeatedly made billing and insurance errors on my account and it is seemingly impossible to get someone in the billing office to answer the phone to sort out problems. My experience has been that problems do not get sorted out with one call and repeated calls, with long waits, are needed to keep working on getting their errors fixed. I would recommend using other suppliers whenever possible.

Our daughter has been on life support for 35 yrs at home with mom as her main caregiver Norco has played a major part of her care at home. The manager of the Meridian store and the respiratory person who oversees and takes care of her vent are both awesome people. They do the very best. Also the Elko office has played a huge part of our success. All in all I would give Norco a 5 gold star rating.

The employees are always very nice and do a great job. However I dread going to the store because it takes so long to accomplish getting the supplies I need. I feel like it may be from the store being under manned and due to the excellent customer service Because when you take the time to make sure the customer is taken care of it does require extra time. I wish I could give more stars because the employees are great I just feel like the company needs to hire more employees due to the customer demand.

I had a great experience with this particular location. They delivered my pump to the hospital the day after our daughter was born, and when the pump wasnt the right model (no fault of theirs, Medela changed the product and it was drastically different), they helped with the return and purchase of the older model.

Twice now my husband has only wanted items from them that are covered by insurance and this is the second time we have received a bill for over $500, we cant afford that. They said they would not do anything about it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I wish I could give less than one, but google will not allow me to post without at least one star....

I was told by the lady who checked me out that I would get a bill but not to pay it that it would fall off this hasn’t happened I have called over and over again I keep getting told they will take care of it and they will call us back, we never get a call back I now owe more. If they would have been honest from the beginning I would of just paid but now I have a huge bill that they can’t seem to take care of.Worst customer service ever will never use them again.Not to mentioned just to try to get a hold of someone takes almost an hr.

Order more O2 never showed up.. It was a Friday so I understand that. My mom past on 9-7-20 and Im still looking at all the Hospice stuff from Norco in the bedroom where she passed. HOSPICE CALLED, MY WIFE CALLED, ST LUKES CALLED. Have a little compassion!.. I dont need to be looking at this stuff.. It needs to be removed. I DONT NEED TO REMEMBER MY MOM ON ALL THIS NORCO EQUIPMENT. Then they said they showed up today finally today 9-10-20 and no one answered. My wife and dog that barks at a pin drop has been waiting for them all day. Thanks for helping to remember the most horrible day or my life when I walk in that room. Left a note said now it will be 9-11-20.. thanks so much NOT! PS the equipment was great but the help when your grieving to remove where she passed sucks.

I finally decided to start ordering my Ostomy supplies through a supply company instead of buying them online and paying for them out of pocket. Norco is really one of the only games in town. I was warned to stay away from them by nurses, doctors, and family members in the health field.So I got my prescription for the supplies sent on a Thursday morning, hoping they would be ready to pick up that day. They were not. I can accept that, same day service may have been too much to ask. The next day they called and said my order was ready. When I arrived home, I realized they had given me all kinds of accessories but no actual Ostomy bags. They sent a truck late Friday night with the bags they forget. Surprise! They were the wrong bags. Ive tried to make them work but they are quite possibly the worst Ostomy bags ever created. Whats more frustrating is that I spent almost an hour on the phone talking specifics about what I needed. I guess that was a waste of time.It would be better to do business with anyone else. I have been utterly miserable for weeks because if their poor service and complete ineptitude.

CPap users beware!Never have I experienced hidden charges from any provider until now. They charge for start up and disconnection of your machine. They pass this charge to the patient stating that there is no code for this to be billed to your insurance. We know that there are codes for everything. It may only be about $40 but if you dont have it, you dont have it. I will never use them or recommend them again.

Edit: terrible communication on the billing depts end, as well as failing to mention that I have to pay 52 dollars a month for a year, just for my CPAP ON TOP of the 250+ for the machine that I had to pay as well. I could have paid less for one from an online CPAP shop. I will never use Norco, and if youre smart, youll heed the warning and look elsewhere for your medical supplies.

I have repeatedly had issues with Norco. I have a 12 year old child who has had significant medical issues his whole life and we have used Norco for many of our medical needs throughout the years. I would say about 2/3 of the time there is an issue with the orders we get. Customer service is almost always terrible. I have wanted to switch away from them for years, but my wife has wanted to keep using them. Today, my wife finally said no more and I am celebrating. Read the negative reviews. Read Norcos responses. All of the responses are insincere, like they are handling the person with the complaint. This is a company that cares very much about what people think of them. But they care nothing about who they really are. I know that it is nice to have a store that you can walk into, but you will pay for that convenience in other ways, many times over.

I have repeatedly experienced horrible service with this company. They have awful customer service and their company has an extremely sexist culture! They constantly make mistakes with our medical supply orders. When I call in, I get told, “You must be mistaken,” “Sorry, we can’t help you,” and “even better, “You must be confused.” Then, my husband calls in with the same exact information and gets, “Oh, I’m sorry, that’s our mistake. We’ll fix it right away.” Which is precious, because he’s a real estate appraiser and I’m an ICU nurse of 11 years!

Whomever set up their on-hold information needs to be educated on customer service, because it is terrible! I waited for 30 minutes to ask a question about my bill and was forced to listen to inane babble for the entire time. If I wanted to listen to inane babble, I would go to a daycare. They USE to be good. Now more often then not my order is wrong, late or didnt get ordered at all.They dont even have the courtesy of letting someone know when a order is running late or a tracking number so I can know where its at. I have had to buy extra supplies on Amazon more then once when they have dropped the ball. After they went to the call center it has gotten very sloppy.

I called into billing at 5:30 on a Thursday and patiently waited in line for my turn. At 5:56 PM I was hung up on. I get that it is pre-holiday weekend but come on guys. I work for a Health Care system and we dont leave until our call que is empty at the end of the day. Im saddened to know Norco purges their que at the end of the day instead of taking care of their customers. Hopefully I can find someone else to get my supplies from.

If it looks like it will take a little longer than expected someone comes over and makes sure you have updated information. Weve reserved several different items over the years and things have always been clean, filled and ready to go when we arrive. The use of everything is always explained and full directions included.

This is a medical supply store. Its always very busy with people picking up specialized formula or diapers for their kids, medical scooters, crutches, c-pap machines, oxygen and much more. The wait times are very long at times-- the people do a good job and are friendly. I dont have much experience with other medical supply stores, but this one seems to be clean and top of the line. The reason for the 3 stars is the wait time. Ive been waiting 3 days for a call back for an appointment to pick something up, and theyve yet to call me back to schedule the appointment. Everyday I call and they will have someone call me back, just schedule me already.

Ive been waiting weeks for the insurance company to approve a Roho cushion for my elderly mom. Ins declined it so Norcos staff tried a different kind of cushion. I received a phone call on Friday from Select Health. They again declined the cushion. Today i received a voicemail from Norco saying my moms cushion was ready to be picked up. I called Norco to see what was ready to be picked up. She said it was a Roho cushion. I asked her if her insurance company approved to purchase. She said no. The cushion cost is over $500. I tried to obtain a breast pump through Norco as my doctor wrote a prescription for it, I wanted the Spectra pump that norco has in stock. Long story short, my insurance didnt cover my pump after I had already taken the pump home, and they offered to let me take the pump for cost. I then received a bill for $300.00, I tried to call and get them to uphold their promise to give the pump to me at cost which I was told I would receive a call back, I never received a call and I did not want to bother again because it takes upward to 10 minutes to get someone on the phone (I went through this twice). Then i was at Target and saw the EXACT pump for $150.00. *bad customer service *way overpriced I will not recommend anyone to go there.

My wife (A doctor by the way) needed a special wound tape after surgery. The cashier was helpful and nice. Showed me the less expensive brand. Turns out this tape didnt work a single day. Bad brand. I took it back to them for a refund and they refused.Granted their policy is to not take refunds on opened supplies. But I told them the product didnt work. The customer service agent said they never get returns because its so good. Well first time for everything.Short of it is he talked to the big boss and they wont give a refund. Gave me a discount on the expensive brand. Big deal.IF A COMPANY WONT WORK WITH YOU ON A 15$ DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, THEN THAT IS A SORRY COMPANY.

The absolute worst company to deal with! Takes forever to get a hold of someone. Every order there is issues with. My dad who is in a coma has to be fed through a peg tube. And they seem to think it’s OK to hold up an order of nutrition because they are waiting for authorization for some syringes that were apparently on the same order. No courtesy call to let us know that the order is being held up or at least ask us if there is anything of high need. They feel that it’s OK to hold up the order for unset amount of time with out a call! Won’t deliver nutrition even a day earlier Because of 30 day ruleAnd then don’t even bother to tell us that the order is not being shipped at all. I don’t understand how these people can even still be in business. Only reason they’re in business because they don’t have competitors.Absolute worst company! I asked to speak with the manager and of course no one was available. Soo sick of their horrible service! Very unfortunate!

My wife gave birth to Twins 4 days ago. Just after getting out of the hospital, recovering from her C section, we went to Norco to get her prescribed breast pump. Upon showing up 30mins before closing (they close at 12 on Saturdays) there was a line of 10 people. Needing the pump, yet sore from operation, she decided to wait thinking it couldnt possibly take very long and needing it for the weekend. After patiently waiting 1hr 40 minutes, she was finally waited on, even after the clerk helped people in front of her. (Said clerk didnt care to open her computer to follow the order in which people arrived). As she finally was being helped the lady clerk complained to her continually about being the only one working left to help everyone. My wife mentioned she had just had a c-section for twins who were out waiting in the car and it was hard to wait so long. The gal had the nerve to ask her if the newborn twins were out in the car waiting for her ALONE... This did not settle well with my wife and she (trying to remain friendly) kindly told the lady No and that her husband was out there with them, who had also been waiting for and hour and forty minutes.Its unfortunate that customer service is seemingly not important at Norco. They were much friendlier and quicker to serve customers when she got her breast pump for her previous pregnancy 4 years ago at their location on north eagle road. Hopefully we will not need anything they offer again as the customers do not seem needed there.

There are a lot of negative reviews. My experience was fantastic. I had to go get a CPAP, I called on Wednesday, and they scheduled me an appointment for that Friday. When I arrived they immediately got me into an empty room, and someone was with me within 5 minutes. They explained everything very well and made sure I knew how to use the equipment, and that I had no other questions. I will definitely be getting all my equipment from them.

New beautiful facilty, still not enough staff! Had to wait at check in, to check in. Just there to return rentals. They had to go to the other side for a printer for my receipt. Please hire more qualified staff and make your counters worker friendly.

I am Sitting here waiting for wrist braces. Norco has gotten to big for their own good. They have no competition and that is an issue. Everyone picks Norco because they have the big name. Ive been here for over an hour, they have had a constant line at the front. The way they run their prescription system is ridiculous. They get an order in and dont work on it until you get there. Then they make you wait, and wait and wait for their insurance people to verify coverage, who supposedly call the customer. Here is a simple resolution that fixes that either actually call the customer like you are supposed too or just start working on them and get the insurance info done when the order comes in. The left hand doesnt talk to the right.They have people quit recently and people not coming in hearing this from an employees own mouth. They dont treat them good is the rumor. Treat your employees right, happy employees means happy customers. Your rating reflects that.After 2 hours of waiting I still left without my braces, to only hope that they get delivered today as someone promised. You guys definitely need to reevaluate the system that you guys do your order processing and probably need to compensate your employees a little better give him a bonus for the Christmas season because they deserve it for having to deal with all these grumpy and cranky people.

Im not sure what problems others had with customer service. We just spent an hour at Norco and experienced nothing but professional and courteous staff.We were greeted upon arrival and directed to the area where we would be served. In about 15 minutes an insurance service person called us to her station, looked at my wifes prescription for a cane, directed her to the cane racks and told her to pick any one she wanted. We brought the cane back to her station and then took a seat in the waiting area while she waited for approval and processed our paperwork. In less than 30 minutes she called us over again, had us sign the papers and we were done.A most pleasant experience.

They rarely have enough people to help and they keep all the ostomy supplies in the back so you cant easily shop for them. They also do not carry a very big selection of ostomy supplies and dont seem to know much about them

How do I begin this review? Maybe by saying wow! I mean, this facility is clean, well organized, and had an attractive display for their products. The costumer service was awesome. The part I love the most about my experience with NORCO is that; the employees didnt bug me by asking if they could help me find anything. I dont know about others and it maybe a personal preference but; I dont like it when you immediately walk into a store and get swarmed by employees willing to help.Any who, the safety products I bought are competitively/fairly priced for the quality and quantity of them. Have used all of the products I bought earlier today and I must say that Im impressed! Will definately come back for future purchases.

I have dealt with this store for 20+ years, and they used to be friendly and efficient. Unfortunately that has changed dramatically, and they now have about the rudest and least helpful customer service I have ever experienced, and I say this because of multiple incidents with them, not just one. They do not do what they say they will, they do not follow up, they will pass you off from person to person, promise to have someone call you who never does....just horrible customer service and very frustrating when you are trying to make a simple purchase that should be a five minute transaction. God forbid you walk in and try to pick something up without making an appointment first, they will look at you like you have two heads and treat you very rudely. Calling on the phone is no better. Apparently they just do not want to be bothered by customers at all. I do not know if this applies to all the Norco locations, but it certainly is how it is at the one in Meridian.

I had spoken to a man who didn’t inform me they closed at 5pm. So when I went to get my sons very important medical device, I was I upset and worried we would just have to go to the E.R. for the night. I called the after hours and they could not have been more nice. They called me right away and sent someone to the store so I could meet them to pick it up. That was a huge relief and I won’t forget how quick and understanding they were. Thank you Norco!

I called Norco in Meridian on Monday about an urgent medical supply item for my dad. Tony in Customer Service was amazing. Tony helped with multiple emails and calls to get the proper forms filled out. Tony was very patient. He even called me after the prescription was all filled to make sure that I was okay and happy with everything. Everyone at Norco Meridian was very pleasant and professional. They saved me a 5 hour drive on a busy Monday. Thanks!

I got an APAP machine and Veronica was great in her demonstration and explaination of equipment and mask. My issue is with the slow processing of the paperwork which I think was done at Nampa office, and like others have said not getting calls returned when message left (for Brent). Large clean store, friendly staff but seemed busy.

These guys are absolutely wonderful! We have been going to them for medical supplies ever since my 4 year old son was born. They are always attentive to my needs and as quick as possible.Shaun has helped me with insurance claims / denials multiple times. He always keeps me in the loop and gets back to me as soon as possible for scheduling. They have even adjusted my sons second-hand walker on more than one occasion and got it looking and feeling good as new!!The facility is clean, the staff is professional, and I would recommend them to anyone.Thanks for all that you do for me and my family. I have been trying to get supplies for my 11-year old daughter for over a month. It has been back and forth, wrong sizing, more back and forth, more waiting. I understand that it can take time to coordinate everything with medical providers and insurance companies and so on, but what I dont understand is the simple lack of common courtesy and compassion. I have had to be the one to call and get updates on the orders, even when it was well past the time frame of when I was told I would be contacted. Then I felt I was pressured in to taking an order that I knew was going to be the wrong size. Sure enough it was and the size that she needs is not in stock. More waiting. And completely no compassion from the individuals that I speak to when I call in. If I knew of another option to get the supplies my daughter needed, I would do it. They need to improve processes, communication, and customer service. People should not have to struggle with the process so much when the circumstances necessitating their need to deal with Norco in the first place are often undesirable.

Will never use again. After foot surgery my husband called and set everything up so we could pick up our equipment and head home. It was a four hour drive home. What they said would be ten minutes ended up being over an hour and I was stuck in the car in 95 degree weather. My foot started to swell by the end. I cant believe how terrible the experience was.

They built this beautiful new building...you would think they would have improved their Customer Service. NOT!!!!! If anything it got worse! I have been in there several times to get my CPAP supplies and every time I have been forced to wait 20 to 45 minutes JUST TO TALK TO SOMEONE! Come on Norco, hire a few more people your Customer Service sucks! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

Terrible service, I have used Norco medical for many years and have always been frustrated. They may or may not have your will call order on file or in stock. They made us pay even though we stated the out of pocket was met, so we paid and it took four months of phone calls, letters and speaking to them in person, continually getting the run around until finally I messaged them through Facebook and actually got a response and my refund check with in a few days. It is stressful having to deal with them every month, My insurance company states I can get 90 day supply but Norco says no. I really wish they had some competition. I guess Norco is happy with the 2.7 star rating or they would have made changes over the years to provide customer service.

Came into the store and waited at the check in for 15 minutes with not one person greeting me or asking if I need help. So I started to go back to the back to seek help and they told me to wait at the front then ignored me. The poor customer experience and rude behavior by the staff continued. These people clearly don’t like working here and it shows in their work.

I purchased a Millermatic 215 from another distributor and was having issues with it. Steve Long at Norco, Meridian told me to bring it in and theyd take care of me. I was relieved to hear him tell me that hed take care of me and ensure they got it up and running correctly. Ive had multiple experiences in the past (NOT from Norco) when I was told to take it back to the company I purchased it from. Since I purchased this piece of equipment from another distributor in Salt Lake City, this wasnt really an option.I brought my Millermatic 215 in today and Steve Long and Dion Galbraith both spent a considerable amount of time with me inspecting, troubleshooting and testing my Miller welder. They were very thorough and went through each component piece by piece to identify the culprit. Which they did!!! (It was a factory assembly issue.) Their professionalism and dedication to ensure customer satisfaction is greatly appreciated! I cant tell you how much I appreciate their assistance. Thank you very much!!!

I placed an order for a blood pressure monitor and was promised a phone call within 24 hours to let me know of availability and insurance coverage. That was 9 days ago. Today I finally had to call them. The young woman I talked to (much to her credit) was very polite and apologetic. Obviously some very lax customer service management.

I have been using Norco (Meridian on Eagle Rd) for multiple situations over the last decade: CPAP services; wheel chair; bathing support systems, and now a cane and additional support products. Each and every time they have been prompt, accurate and incredibly helpful. This last time I was helped by Barbie and she lived up to my admittedly high expectations. Thanks guys, you are the best!

I go with the other reviews one star at best they need more competition nobody addresses you its slow as can be they stand around and talk behind the counter its extremely frustrating I wouldnt go there if I didnt have a damn choice.
