For some reason I could not place an order online. Went to the Merrick showroom, the salesman was able to get me the online only price on the items I wanted, with next day delivery. I was in the store for a total of maybe 15 minutes. Awesome!

I was helped by Sandee, he was very patient and very helpful. It was Memorial Day sales period, I bought 4 mattresses and 1 adjustable base at a good price. Unfortunately, I found my base was damaged after the driver left, talked to Sandee, no problem, it was replaced next day, good customer service. I am very happy with my mattress, my wife said it is a little too firm for her, it is not a problem as well, Mattress Firm have 120 days trial period, it could be replaced with a little delivery fee within 120 days if you are fully satisfied. Highly recommend.

I purchased a TemperPedic mattress at the Merrick store several weeks ago. At my request, I just received delivery only to find that I had a FROZEN mattress delivered today. Laying on this mattress is as good as laying on my tile floor at the moment. Upon delivery, the delivery person told me that it might defrost in 4-6 hours, but really I should expect it will take 1-2 days. Seriously....am I really talking about a mattress here? FROZEN! Thats crazy. Do I need to use my hairdryer to try and thaw it out????? Had I been told, I might have arranged to have kept my old mattress until such time that my new mattress was at a temperature acceptable for me to sleep on.I also purchased a mattress protector from the store. My bad. $219 later I found out I received what looks like a fitted sheet. Isnt the point of a mattress protector to protect the ENTIRE mattress? It needs to be zipped! I should have gone to Walmart and purchased one there for probably $40-$50. Lesson learned.When I called the store to ask to speak to my salesperson, I was told he was on vacation for several weeks. Was that actually code for he no longer works there? Who knows. So I spoke to the person who answered the phone and inquired as to why I had a frozen mattress. He told me that this is what happens in cold weather and he was sorry that my salesperson didnt alert me to that fact prior to delivery....but he was on vacation. Soooo, what happens when your salesperson is on a long vacation, or may not actually work there any longer? NOTHING! No one calls you and there is no customer service.Purchasing a mattress is a commodity item. They are all the same and price and customer service are the differentiating factors. Mattress Firm prices are no better than anyone elses and clearly their customer service stinks so I will NEVER purchase another item at their store again. There are certainly endless options for me to purchase a mattress someplace else. Buyer BEWARE!

My husband and I were reluctant to go into Mattress Firm due to COVID however we decided to give it a try and we were very glad that we did. Our sales associate Christopher James(and his associate as well however I do not remember his name) were very reassuring that they take all the precautions necessary. And they did. We were given a disposable paper to lay on. We all wore masks. He was very helpful and extremely patient as well as very pleasant and very easy to work with. I have done business with Mattress firm before having purchased our old tempurpedic bed from them as well as my daughter’s bed and I will absolutely continue to do business with them. Although at the time of writing this review I have not had my mattress delivered as of yet(due to my own schedule issues-not theirs) I am confident all will go just as smoothly when I receive my delivery!

We had an excellent experience at Mattress Firm in Merrick. We made an appointment and were taken right away. Both sales associates, Elaine and Bill were most welcoming and knowledgeable. They explained in detail the differences among the mattresses and had us try them out. There was absolutely no pressure to buy one mattress over another. We did buy a new mattress and look forward to receiving it in a few days!

Just ordered a coil mattress with a Tempurpedic layer on top for $599. If you spend $599 or more it comes with a free frame that comes with adjustable angles. Lynn was super helpful. I went to Mattress Firm in Merrick New York with my girlfriend today to pick out a new mattress because my mattress really sucks. Rose which is the assistant manager helped us. She was incredible! The layout of showroom was really nice and easy to get around. The selection was magnificent. We ended up getting a higher end memory foam mattress which was really expensive but Rose mentioned that there was incredible sale and she also gave us an additional discount which helped us a lot. Honestly, I probably wouldnt have purchased anything today If it wasnt for her. She was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I can tell you this, I wouldnt purchase a mattress from anyone else but her. Thank you Rose for making me a happy lifelong customer.

The staff at this location are super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They helped my mom pick out the perfect bed and set up the delivery and removal of her old mattress for the very next day. Waited patiently for the Memorial Day sale and was not disappointed! Rose was super patient with my 4 and 2 year olds (they ran around like lunatics and ate her entire supply of desk snacks) and very knowledgeable about our mattress options. Mattress was delivered something close to five hours later and I got the best night of sleep I’ve had in years!
