I see the word cozy come up here a lot and other peoples reviews and they are right. Its just the right size but still has plenty of options, including food. I have them of their sandwiches while I was waiting for my significant other for almost two hours. I was able to work on my computer and was extremely productive. Everyone else in the shop was respectful and the staff had good energy.

A friend and I stopped by before starting our day, our order was read back to us 3 times and twice we corrected one of the drinks so when we got to the window and I informed them that my drink was wrong the woman got very rude and disrespectful towards us and was upset that we asked her to correct the drink. Not the best first impression since I hadnt been there before but Ill give it another shot.

Breakfast at this place was an unpleasant experience. The coffee tasted awful. The self service coffee table glass surface edge caused me to spill my coffee. What a poor design. The clerk didn’t apologize for my unpleasant experience. The clerk was very rude as she did not respond to me when I spoke to her.

Yum! Nice place and very good food. They have a small salad bar ( at least when I was there on a Saturday). Basic veggies and offerings, but very fresh, very good and with what I believe is homemade dressings. $4.00 for one trip, $6.00 for all you can eat. Great price. The sandwiches offered have nice variety, though they are a little more to the pricey side. But you get what you pay for with well made, fresh ingredient food. This is not a fast food place and it will take a few minutes to get your food, but you can spend that time relaxing and hanging in the nice dining room or out on the outside patio. Well done and a nice place to visit.

1st St. Coffee downtown is a wonderful, cozy shop with eclectic decor & a very cozy feeling. The coffee is great, obviously & so are the sandwiches. Come early for a seat at busy times as space can be limited then. They are having karaoke again certain nites (call & check). This place is worth the stop. Plenty parking in back. ☕☕☕
Love this place, great place to go and get a good cup of coffee or cappuccino. Also when you visit need to try the lunch specials you will not be disappointed.
Good service, tasty salad. Others in my group liked their coffee, I however do not like dark roasts, and my coffee wound up too burnt tasting. There were many other coffees available...I just didnt care for the one I chose.
The person I was with was being bombarded by flies. (Fruit and house flies). She was having a strawberry waffle, which looked delicious until the fruit flies were landing on it and putting their feet all over her waffle! She was turned off by it, was unable to eat it and was very difficult to enjoy the experience. We were able to enjoy ourselves, hanging out with a friend from out-of-town, but waving and swatting at flying insects put a damper on the visit.All was great besides the flies
The coffee, the coziness and the atmosphere of this establishment is great. The menu of food isnt such as a restaurant, but it does have a good assortment, and all of the items are delicious. Location is great, right on main street in the center of town surrounded by other local businesses. I would go again to sit and enjoy a small meal and definitely the coffee. Highly recommend.
Extremely good sandwiches and coffee drinks. They have beans here as well that are very good. Plus they have this great train area so even my toddler loves coming here. He calls it the train place and I never have to drag him over for a cup of coffee!
Cozy, eclectic little coffee shop in Merrill. Small and a bit crowded, but the coffee was excellent. Close enough to highways 64 and 51, which we travel frequently, that its worth the detour. Will definitely return.
I stopped here for lunch at least once a week for the several months that I was staying and working in Merrill. The staff is wonderful, and the sandwiches are great!

I absolutely LOVE First Street Coffee. They have amazing food and great drinks and everyone is always so friendly. I recommend this place to everyone! It absolutely kills me to only give this place 4-stars and the only reason I am is because the drive-thru at times can be awfully slow. There was one person in line before me today and just our 2 orders combined was nearly a 20 minute wait. I am sure this is something they will improve on over time, as the original shop does not have the drive thru and it is new to them. That is my only complaint. Everything else is fantastic!

Wonderful place! Very cool decor. They have punch cards for regulars. Soups. Sandwiches, pastries and of coarse coffees and teas! They also have local art for sale as well. You can call in orders and pick up as well!
I LOVE this coffee shop! We were travelling south and stopped in for lattes and bakery. Not only was it delicious, but our son loved playing with the train set, everyone was very friendly and when I left my purse there accidentally, they shipped it to me that same day. Couldnt ask for a cooler spot.

What I ordered was an iced mocha. What I received was a glass of chocolate milk with ice and a weak shot of espresso in it.Breakfast sandwich was pretty good though. Nice soft bread, toasted well in a panini press.There was no one under the age of 60 in the place when my wife and walked in.
Its a great place to go for coffee and other beverages plus you can also order food there and the staff is great, and it has a airy atmosphere. You can also go outside and eat or drink. Its my favorite place to visit.

This is the newer location of the coffee shop. It was not open when i was here a month ago. And seeing it was now open I tried it out. I have not been to the original location. I came here looking for breakfast. I ordered a latte, a breakfast sandwich, and a scone. I had to wait 15 minutes for the sandwich. I found that a little surprising, since I was the only one there. Especially considering the quality. The sandwich was served on focaccia bread, which had collapsed under the panini press to maybe a millimeter thick. Providing nothing more than a barrier between my fingers and the interior of the sandwich. The sausage was decent. Larger than I was expecting. But the egg was the real issue I had. It was green in places. Not green from mold, but green from overcooking or age. It really turned me off to the sandwich. I am sure it was fine to eat but no thanks. The scone was incredibly dense and sweet. It resembled eating a very large moist cookie more than anything else. The latte was alright. Not great, not poor. It was average. So overall, I would avoid eating here. Coming for just coffee? Sure.

If you would like to know what the coffee tastes like here take a dirty cup and pour hot water in it. I probably wouldnt of minded paying $2 for a cup of something worse than gas station coffee if the internet worked but not only did I waste money on a cup of dirty water that I didnt even want to drink but the internet is so slow that I was unable to do anything online. I dont see why this place has the word coffee in their name. They should change the name to First Street Lunch Station. It doesnt take much of an effort to learn about coffee and what it should taste like and it also doesnt take much to invest in a wireless router that is capable of handling more than one computer at a time.
