LOVE this place!! Me & my daughter go here all the time in the summer. The food is made fresh, so plan on a short wait for your food to get cooked. Its well worth the wait. The ice cream is the best around & I will forever love their banana splits (never had a beard hair in our ice cream of the many times weve been there). The teenage girls who work here (none who grow a beard) work their butts off & have always been cheerful & polite. Great job girls, keep up the good work!!!

Great food and service. Unbelievable turkey sandwich with cranberries, apples, wild rice bread, and more.Had a cheese burger and it was amazing with the works even had bacon.Definitely will stop there again, with the car he decided to keep. 🤣.

GREAT conversion from Briq,s to the Grand Stand, and GREAT premium ice cream flavors as well. Hope it can stay open as long as practical.

Philly Cheesesteak Sub was disgusting. Meat tasted like it was soaked in soy sauce! Gross….. Makes me wonder how fresh it was. I had a friend try it as well with the same result. I wouldn’t recommend it!

As a huge Chocolate Shoppe fan I was excited to find a new place. Great portions and pricing. Friendly service with a good selection. Next time I’m getting the cheese curds they looked awesome.

This little place rocks! Their soft serve is extremely tasty, not too watery tasting. Way tastier than DQs overpriced softserve. And the portions are great. Food is very tasty too. Couple outdoor picnic tables to sit at. Worth the stop!

This place has such potential to be a cute well-managed stand, unfortunately I can tell their owner doesnt really care about the customers reviews I was there just the other day and there was in fact a beard hair in me and my friends ice cream whether you like it or not there was a man with the beard behind the stand everybody working was on their phones and completely unprofessional probably because they are all in high school. Ive been working and food and retail business for about 10 years and I know some people have off days for whatever reason but hygiene, cleanliness, and politeness is not something that is interchangeable. I already know that the owners probably going to leave a comment under my review gaslighting me and blaming me for my poor experience at his business so Im not even going to read it if he does leave a negative comment under my review learn how to manage a business more they offer really nice business operations courses and I think you should take a brush up of how to positively reply to customers even if they didnt have the best experience.

Terrible experience for food in Merrill! Very bad customer service! The owner intentionally bold face lied about every word she said when I called her to get a refund, she said my boyfriend TOOK the wrong sandwich ( no! He was handed the wrong sandwich) she said he was given the bag of food ( no he was given a single sandwich wrapped in tinfoil) she said he ran off and they tried to stop him (no he can’t run, he walked to the car) we waited well over 15 minutes and all they could make is one sandwich ( which was the wrong sandwich)...I told dave forget the fries and onion rings the dog is going to over heat in this hot sun. when I corrected her she hung up on me...then refused to take my call. I left a message. Then she called me back, i told her that’s no way to treat a customer I want a refund. She said ok on refund, so we drove to grand stand and gave them the wrong sandwich, and asked for our refund. We were told no, and that we already received the refund....NO we didn’t receive it!....but Finally we got our refund. We will never eat at this business again, not because of the wrong sandwich or the 15+ minute wait time in 85 degree weather for half our order, but because of the snarky boy who screamed OMG REALLY! When I ask to speak to someone in charge, or the fact the workers didn’t want to fix the situation, and mostly because the owner was rude, lied, and hung up.Post edit: the owner changed her response. this is original Response from the owner.a day agoHeidi, you were given the incorrect sandwich by mistake by a 16 year old boy working the third time and trying his hardest on an extremely busy day. They were confused not like realizing you had paid cash and that though the transaction was refunded they needed to give you the cash had you paid by card it would have been complete already. You did not wait 15 minutes as the ENTIRE ordeal took 20 minutes and I have a timed register statement showing this. Your boyfriend was told his order would be right up and chose to leave.I did not lie. I said the staff yelled out the order and he “took” the wrong sandwich as in was given and left (not stole). I said bag - as I said today I am not going to squabble with you about what packaging it was it in, it is irrelevant. I didn’t say “ran off” I said left, which he did. Your “one sandwich” was made and ready, we were waiting for your fries to drop, he was told this and said he didn’t want to wait.I apologized, offered to get you the order and refunded your money. Not super sure what else you would expect. It was a very busy day and my staff is human and makes mistakes.A young person made a mistake and rather than approach and have a discussion you called and berated him and made him feel terrible. There is more to life than your chicken sandwich - though you are the same person who called your neighbor children “crotch goblins” on a recent post so frankly, your opinion doesn’t really matter to me.By all means, take your business elsewhere.

Excellent ice cream, especially liked the strawberry shake.

4 hairs in my ice cream, 3 being beard hairs. Waited over 20 minutes for our food while everyone elses food came before ours. We had a 4yo and 1mo old crying in the car since wed been driving 4 hours already being as we were on vacation. The cheese curds werent fried long enough so they were doughy, the cheese that came with the pretzel was chunky. overall very disappointing experience when it was supposed to be a fun treat.

Polite staff, not good portioning. the medium waffle cone is never equal to the medium normal cones, and when i order just a medium in a cup, it’s usually the smallest. not great topping amount for price u pay.

First stop tonight after ball game. I think we found a new tradition. Great ice cream, fast service and decent prices. After seeing the cheese curds going out the window I think we’ll stop again tomorrow.

Especially since we serve the EXACT same ice cream as the other mentioned and have lower prices.I was not referring to the Ice-cream when I said that i miss Briqs it is more of a sentimental thing because Briqs had been here for as long as I can remember so its sad to see them gone also you should have canned pineapple it goes good with a lot of ice-cream and id be willing to pay more to add it on things that dont have it.

I have ate from both places and 808 is better, I think, the cheese curds right after grand stand opened was to greasy, so I choose 808 but nothing bad about either place. Great Ice cream and walking tacos. And as far as parking I have my own spot to park in. I dont live by the grand stand so I dont know why you put that on this post.So I know your talking about a guys that stayed the night awhile back. You say I never purchased anything but then why do I have past charges on my card from when I bought my superman ice cream a few different times and Chads walking tacos for 6 bucks. I think it a lil crazy you would say Ive never purchased from your business. I wasnt trying to make your business look bad,but you try and make me look bad, I think people will see this and make there own judgments about you. Not the business!
