I love BAM. Its always clean and the selection is amazing. For those that dont know, its basically a smaller version of Barnes and Noble.

I found a book for $4! All the young gals who were working were very friendly and helpful. I didnt like the mall but I will go back to this bookstore

Didnt have the title I was looking for 😔 Instead... once again I had to order it through Amazon where I had to wait 2 days instead of the 5 through BAM. Im all for cutting out the middle man and supporting businesses directly but businesses need to find away to take back their space from the likes of Amazon. Until that happens Amazon will continue to win and businesses like BAM will eventually & unfortunately meet their demise. But its great to see BAM hanging in there tough 👍👏👏💪

Theyve got so many different titles and genres its hard to believe its in a mall.

My daughter found a hardcover book today that she was searching everywhere for. She was beyond excited! Tons of books, novelties and cute plushies and much more!

Very nice people, most of the time. The staff is often knowledgeable about items, will help you locate things, and order what they cant. The merchandise can be somewhat expensive if youre not a member. Membership is only $25 a year, but only worth it if youre coming back a few times. They usually have awesome sales though. Thats the best time to buy.Overall a great place to get books.

Ive only gone once but I will definitely be coming back. It was a very quiet place which was nice and they had a very big selection of books. I really like reading manga and this place had alot of it. I recommend coming here

This was an ok store. They have a lot of stuff, but just stuff that, me personally, I am not interested in. For the most part it was fine.

Good selection but pricey

Great bookstore. A lot of selections, especially for kids. Bigger on the inside than one would think from just looking in the window from the mall. Will support this small business over and over again.

Overpriced. I love to read, but I cant help but feel the added expense prevents purchases from their business and contributes greatly to the loss of book stores in droves. Save the gas and buy it on Amazon or another retailer and youll save way more and still get the same thing you wanted.

Honestly Im disappointed because I ordered 2 books mid Dec. I knew they were back ordered and knew it would take a few weeks, but after a month I emailed them to see what the issue was and did get an email saying the order was being prepared. But then heres Feb and I get an email saying they dont have the books now and my order was cancelled. BAM needs to improve on their communication skills.

Small but nice.Great selection of books.Magazines range from Adult 👀👀 to Tech Enthusiasts and all the way to entertainment and in home cooking.Collectibles are great here too. POPs, Pokemon, Magic, this places has it all...except Figpins.

I was followed around the store... wasnt too thrilled. I even saw a female security officer there when I arrived at checkout. Ill continue making my book purchases online with Amazon or in person at Barnes & Noble. I will not be back here.

Not only did I find everything I was looking for, I had a wonderful conversation with 2 lovely ladies (customers) about our favorite books. We all ended up buying the same one! The staff was amazing too! To me that was the perfect bookstore experience!

Its ok. Clean. Its like going to the airport bookstore slightly expanded. You have classics and bestsellers and some game and records slightly over priced. If your looking for something different look elsewhere. I always have to think twice when a places scifi fantasy section is made of more than half bibles.

Always well organized and staff are so helpful but not bothersome. Great finds and a large selection. If you cant find something the cashier will help and even order it for pick up.

Clean shop, fairly stocked shelves. 3 workers available but only 1 working register that was unmanned by the person who was signed in to it so we had to wait a very long time to make our purchase. Unclear on why that was.

The selection here is great. I am usually able to find what Im looking for. A discount card comes in handy, even if you dont buy books here often.

Staff members are very courteous and helpful when customer(s) need assistance looking for specific book(s). Books are displayed nicely on tables. One section, in the middle of the store, has the top ten book sellers for adults and children books. Throughout the store there is a variety of books on a variety of topics. This is a smaller store, yet it is in South Lake Mall where after you purchase your book you may head to the Eatery, place an order, take it to a table, begin reading your book while sampling the delights from the Eatery.

One of the few places one can buy physical books in the area anymore. Nowadays theres also a proliferation of pop culture merch, with almost anything even tangentially book-related represented.

No variety. Great if you like books written by the Trump family.

My only problem with Books A Million is that theres so much merchandise to browse through it can be a little intimidating shopping there unless you know exactly what youre looking for and its location inside. Impeccably clean, the only problem with the store is I wish they also sold movies and music!

Definitely nice that theyre still a couple book stores around the area. Books-A-Million is pretty nice, Definitely not as nice as it used to be when it was in a more spacious location, but its okay. Its a little pricey and the environment is slightly crammed but the people that work there are usually pretty helpful and nice. They also know a lot about books which is fun. I would actually highly recommend their sister store which is second in Charles in Schererville. If youre looking for books go there. Youre going to get great books, with even better prices.

If youre looking for anything new or popular then this is a great store. They also have a fairly large selection of comics and tabletop rpg books for not being a specialty shop. My only issue is the pricing but that isnt their fault.

The store itself is just fine. The problem is how can I justify shopping here when Amazon is 30-50% cheaper on everything. Its a shame that bookstores are dying off. I enjoy shopping at the stores themselves, but Amazon is so much cheaper. Its really not BAMs fault at all.

Love it! When we came in it was almost closing time but gave us room and help us find everything and I became a member and Im very happy that I am. The guys were super friendly and funny.

This place is very relaxing and fun to browse just to find a good book to read. The staff is very friendly, polite, and make any customer feel like their neighbors. Theres all kinds of amazing books, dvds, cds, collectibles, comics, and other wonderful items to check out.
