This place is absolutely fantastic!! I wish my sister didnt find this place, because I want a funnel cake almost everyday. My daughter likes the churros. I like the mini funnel cake with cinnamon and sugar, fresh strawberry, and ice cream. The picture shows the funnel cake with apples and ice cream, which is tasty too.

This place makes the best funnel cakes around. The owner come up with a banana pudding funnel cake where he put in fresh bananas and it was amazing. My wife and I loved their funnel cakes so much that we had them cater our wedding on September 5 and still all our friends and family members are talking about how good these are. We had quite a few people that had never had a funnel cake try these and loved them so they had more. These are highly recommended and the owner’s are the nicest people ever, it is worth a drive to have these funnel cakes. Thanks again for everything.

I never ever write reviews, but this place is too fantastic. I never go to the mall so finding out this shop was there was the best discovery ever. Not only is the food extremely delicious but the customer service was just as incredible. I was a little slow with ordering as it was my first time there, and the man was very patient and helpful and appreciative of all customers. Makes the concept of funnel cakes soo much more fun and tasty with all of the different specialties and options.

I was leaving the mall today, and on the way out stopped for a sample of elote at the Funnel Cake Man !! Soo good, I was very impressed. I have been to the store before for funnel cakes with ice cream. Both experiences were great. also found out they do parties!!! Will be back

The customer service is just as good as the desserts. I loved the fact that when you walk in you are immediately acknowledged, and not just sitting there being ignored. The staff were very attentive and the desserts hit the spot (I mean every bite was good). please do yourself a favor when youre in South lake mall swing by their shop located across from H&M (close to the entrance). You will definitely be pleased!!!

This place makes the best funnel cakes, you can choose from different toppings. We had peaches and whipped cream on ours and it was delicious. I just hope this place was closer to my home I would buy funnel cakes everyday. They also have popcorn and a variety of snacks.

Absolutely love this place! I’ve been looking everywhere for a place that has funnel cakes and elephant ears and I was sooo happy when I found the Funnel Cake Man! Totally worth the trip to the mall from Munster! Staff is friendly and everything is made fresh. You can add all kinds of toppings and ice cream- delicious! They have a pretty big menu so if you’re not looking for sweets, they have corn dogs, potatoes, fried PB&J- there’s something for everyone. We will definitely be back, this is my new favorite place

Ive had the best funnel cake here. My family and I looks forward to the Lake County Fair for all the great fair food, but due to Covid no such luck. I was sad thinking I wouldnt get my funnel cake this year 😔. Until I came across this gem. The funnel cake I had here was amazing. If anyone has every seen that movie Ratatouille (when Anton Ego ate that meal and instantly went back to his child hood) Its that good so good I think its better than the ones Ive had in the past. So I have never had a funnel cake before and this may have been both a great and bad experience. Good because not only was the funnel cake PHENOMENAL the customer service was top notch! Everyone is so friendly and nice as well as patient. Its a bad experience because Im gonna compare every funnel cake to this place. They also have a bunch of different flavors and toppings to put on your funnel cake. It just feels premium for such a great price!

OMG...I love this place!!! Its the carnival taste that puts a smile on your face without even getting on a ride. Me and my son went here for the first time and the owner or manager was very kind. He gave us a little back story of how they got started and walked us through some of their new items while we waited for our treats. A very pleasant experience and this may be my new spot for treats this summer.

My wife and I were walking through the mall and spotted this place. I told her I wanted to go there after she got done shopping. So 45 painful moments through White Barn/Bath Body Works later we were here. We were looking at the menu on the outside and an employee said “Come on in I will explain everything”. So we did. He certainly made us feel welcome and he detailed explained the whole process.We got the big funnel cake with apple cinnamon and ice cream. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. Before we knew it we were out in the car with it.The funnel cake was the best one we have ever had. It was gone within a few minutes and very well with the price paid.We will definitely be returning here soon!

When i came across this place in the mall i had to stop, the line was long. I figured it has to be fantastic in order for the people to wait; they didn’t disappoint. The funnel cake was so great, I hired them to an event for my team. My team also shared my same sentiment, they asked if we can do this every Friday..and have funnel cake. The service here is top notch! With a year like we have had and all of the festivals cancelled it’s so great to be able to grab a funnel cake with all of the toppings that tastes amazing! They have a variety of sizes for every desire, it’s the place to go for a treat.

I hired the Funnel Man Company to come and be a part if our Field Day @ Pathways Child Care. It was a fun day for our afterschoolers to give them a relief from all of the E-learning. It was a good day. The Funnel Cakes were a hit and I especially appreciated how they not only manned their station but they fit right in and helped out however they could to make sure the day was good all around.
