My ham was dry and the crunchy goodness was gone from the outside. Very disappointed!

After checking the open times online I arrived to find a sign on the door stating reduced hrs.PUT IT ON YOUR WEBSITE OR GOOGLE

Have been coming here with family for over 10 years. Best ham around, while pricey you certainly get what you pay for. The only thing that would compare would be a fresh cut butcher ham. Excellent service and meat!

I called to place an order for two hams, potato salad, and croissants. I spoke to the nicest, friendliest person whose name was Diana. I asked if it would be possible to do curbside pickup for an elderly couple.She was extremely accommodating and just a pleasure to talk to. She packed our order perfectly and placed it in their car when they arrived. All of ourfood was delicious. I can not say enough great things about Diana! We live in Valparaiso and have not been here in quite some time. However, we will definitely be ordering from this location more frequently due to the great food and their great team. Every Honey Baked Ham should have a Diana working for them! You are a ROCKSTAR Diana! Thank you for making our day!

5 star worthy, and I rarely give 5 stars. Fresh breads, tasty deli sandwiches, hot soup, quaint seating area, reasonable prices. Left feeling full with 1/2 sandwich to take home for later. Cant believe I have never come here before, been here many years. Will be back.

Im sad they changed their menu. The counter person offered me try their new chicken salad before I purchased it, which I thought was very kind. I did like it enough to purchase it as a salad over lettuce. I also tried their ham and bean soup, which I enjoyed more than the chicken salad. My only complaint is that I cant stand the smell of the cling wrap they use to wrap up their food containers. I will ask next time to not have my food containers wrapped.

Service was fast and courteous. The food is unbelievably good. As far as the price. Ouch. Ok like they say. You get what you pay for!

Love this place and the employees but they changed their chicken salad and it is not good. I loved the old chicken salad and ate it a lot! Not sure why they changed it but hopefully they realize that it was better before!

They have great hams and turkeys and delicious side dishes. Dont have time to cook, they are the place to go to besides the fried chicken from grocery stores. Their side dishes taste like homemade.

I was sadden when they stopped the pasta salad and then more sadden when they discontinued marble rye. The chicken salad is not as good as before. I know because that was my favorite and the only sandwich I would have. I wish the would reconsider their change. If it’s not broke… Why try and fix it!?

Ordered here for lunch. Myself and a friend both got potato salad, and it was extremely over seasoned with pepper to where that was all we could taste. Two other friends ordered the bbq sandwich and were disappointed at the meat and the fact that the bbq sauce was on the side in very small portion. Previously ordered from the highland location and they were much better and also had the build your own sandwich option.

I first learned about this place when it was still called Heavenly Baked Ham and have been a fan ever since. My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich and the roast beef sandwich. I love that you can get a box lunch for a great price. You Can your choice of a signature or classic sandwich, cookie or brownie (although brownies are an additional charge), chips, drink, and a pickle for only $.25 extra. The ladies who are normally there are really friendly and the store is always clean. Despite it being such a great place to eat there’s never a long line or a crowd of people. One of my fave sandwich shops.

Great place for anything ham. I loved it. I had one of the sandwiches. Friendly staff, mustard good if like the miracle whip type flavor. Ill definitely be back.
