These guys are awesome and really nice! Gave me a ton of information! Made me much more comfortable with everything especially moving from Mass and a Rookie with firearms. I got a whole setup from the tons of choices they have for new and used guns! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be my go to store to start my collection of firearms!

Cople weeks ago I ask one of the personal, for a Mcka conversion kit, he said cheek online! So I did and I find it, in their website, best one in NH!!!! Good selection and excellent customer service 👏10/10. Awesome staff and highly recommended. Is my 2 year shopping w them and I never have any complaints or issues. I would not even give this place a 1 star but 0 stars is not a option. Steve was less than helpful and profiled us as soon as we walked in the door. We were not greeted with a hello, like everyone else that walked in the door. We were ignored even after we showed interest in a gun. After we unfortunately got stuck with Steve as our customer service representative, he seemed very annoyed by any questions we even asked. Considering it was my first time purchasing a gun, you would think that somebody would want to be helpful and explain things to me. That was not the case. Steve shuffled us out of the way and pawned us off on somebody else so he could help new people that just walked in. Unfortunately I did not get the gentleman’s name that assisted us with the checkout process but he was very kind and helpful. My mom, who owns plenty of weapons (and is registered/licensed in Massachusetts to own and carry a firearm), was there to help and was also purchasing this as a gift for me however he asked her to leave and my husband so new people could come in even though we were still talking about a gun that we were purchasing. Customer service is everything. I will definitely never ever give them any more of my business. UPDATE: after writing this review (and after the purchase of a gun) the owner, Steve, said that he is giving us back a refund and will not give us the gun or sell us anything and then tried to explain why he was rude to me, my husband and my mom (a Massachusetts licensed gun holder). So, there you go...

Moved recently and this was the first store I went to. After my first experience here I see no reason to look a different stores. Very knowledgeable staff and no pressure to buy or oversell as I have seen in other shops. Great prices and a wide selection of inventory.

Very poor customer service, especially from an owner. We were uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. We were unfortunate enough to get Steve who immediately said it was me looking for a gun and I said to him, “no, I have what I need, I am buying one for my daughter”. When my daughter complained of his rude behavior, Steve, the owner, said it was because he thought my daughter was buying a gun for me. That’s just an excuse for his extremely rude and dismissive behavior; because I have a MA LTC license, so I could just get a gun myself, and do not need anyone to get it for me. Steve knew this because I showed my license. Another person, I believe his nephew, that he dismissed us to, was very polite and had good customer service skills. If it had not been for the nephew taking over, we would have walked out of the store. Steve is a very angry rude person as evidenced by many other reviews. When my daughter wrote a review about his behavior, he said he was not giving her the gun after running a background check for her specific to the gun purchase. We will deal with this appropriately. We decided to go to this store because of proximity, but what a mistake. Please drive a little further and go shop at Old Glory Guns and Ammo in Greenville. We have purchased several firearms from them. Each and every time we have seen them treat everyone like family customers and don’t treat people in a degrading manner.

One of my favorite gun shops in NH, staff always helpful and knowledgeable, bought my first supressor through them a few months ago and the staff was extremely helpful, if your going to buy a can do it here. Always have a good supply of them and the kiosk is absolutely the way to go.

Walked in wearing an N95 mask and was told to take it off. I thought the NH firearms community was about freedom of choice. I choose to wear a mask out of respect for the health of others. I have shopped here for years but I wont be back.

I went there for my first time today to look around and ended up impulse buying a S&W Bodyguard which I’ve wanted for quite some time now. The staff was great, very friendly and very knolagable. They also have great prices, honestly the best I’ve seen anywhere and for such a small shop they have an amazing and huge selection of firearms. Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had firearm shopping. On top of the great customer service and prices they also threw in a free box of practice ammunition. I will definitely be returning and 10/10 would recommend going here.

I moved to NH June 2017. I went to a few other shops before finding Tim and Steve. Both are stand up guys that know how to run a shop. Friendly and great customer service!! I happen to read the low marked reviews and I can tell you first hand no one is talking down to you at this shop. I have seen Tim and Steve go out of there way to help customers that you can tell are new to firearms. I have worked in a gun shop and have worked in the firearms industry doing other things before going into Law enforcement. So I have been on both sides of the counter, prices are what they are. Dealers are not making that much of new firearms and everyone thinks their trade is worth more then what it is (used gun is a used gun if you shot 1 round or 1K). I will give you a hint the more you buy/work with a shop the more they will work with you. When I first did trades with Tim and Steve I took some hits on trades thats just normal. But as time gos on and shops see it works out. You give a little one time and shop gives a little the next. Its like being married lol. I can tell you this is a very good shop worth taking the time to stop in!!

Just happen to be checking the time they open and read the reviews and realized I never wrote one. I have spent quite a bit of time in Merrimack firearms and can say that its my top gun store. Tim the gunsmith is very competent working on firearms and one of a few I trust to hand over my guns. The other Tim is very helpful and had helped me several time especially when I was looking to buy my first AR. Steve the owner is a very nice guy and runs a great buisness. On the service side in my opinion they are great even though I come in regularly as soon as some one is free they come and ask if I need anything or have any questions and even when Im not looking to buy just for information they will stay and help me until Im content. Its tough for me to write all the good things about this store. If you are on the fence about stopping in I would recommend you do. All around great store. And I forgot to mention the prices which are the best Ive ever found on 99.9 percent of the firearms Ive looked at.

Their prices were similar to all the stores I looked at; within 20 bucks up and down depending on model, but their attention to customer care seemed outstanding. I recently was traveling through the area and figured I would stop in the see what they carried. I was promptly greeted and they asked what I was looking for. I told them I was mostly interested in used 22s and they asked what kind. When I said antique Stevens rifles I was little surprised when they said they had one. A short while later I walked out of the store with a new piece for my collection. I couldnt have been more happy with the staff I interacted with and look forward to visiting the store again.

Always a pleasant experience.The thing that I like the best about this store is that when someone is helping you, you have their undivided attention until you have been helped to your satisfaction. Does this mean you may have to wait if the store is packed with people? Possibly, but someone will acknowledge you and make sure you know you will be helped!As a young female, often you can be talked down to at a gun store - that is absolutely not the case here. I never feel like I have to prove myself or my abilities, and if I have a question I dont hesitate to ask!Another big plus (in my eyes) is how organized everything is in the store. It definitely cuts down on the time it takes to complete any transaction!

I was looking to trade in a firearm and this was my third dealer that I went too. They offered me less money than what Collectables Arm and Ammo did eight up the road from them and I told they what they offered. NOT willing to work with you, just as bad as a car dealer not to mention when they were talking with me I felt like I was at a car dealership. I also told them that Rileys had a better deal on the gun i was looking to buy and wasnt willing to even price compare. I did by ammo from them a few weeks back and they had the better price this is why I give them two stars.

EXCELLENT STAFF !!! I was greeted as soon as i entered. Its an average size gun store and they are sure to have what you need. Prices here are very good. I found what i was looking for and they were fully stocked. I noticed that i had some options to pick from that i didnt know were available. If i lived in the area, i would probably rule out all other gun stores in the area and buy everything here. They are conveniently located 4 minutes from when you get off the highway and their is a neighboring PIZZAROMA where you can get a good lunch or dinner.

Merrimack Firearms is an unassuming store across from the Rite-Aid on DW Highway. Upon entering you will immediately be greeted by Steve or Tim who will give you there undivided attention. They really make you feel like youre the most important customer in the store.Ive purchased three firearms from them and have had an extremely pleasant experience every time.

I was looking into getting a gun for me and my boy to do some target shooting. i stopped by Merrimack firearms in Merrimack and felt uncomfortable right away as im not a big gun owner. i stood in front of Steve (the owner) at the counter while he was looking at his laptop never acknowledging me being there. finally i was able to ask him some questions and he talked down too me and i felt like he was too busy to deal with me. he is expensive and has horrible customer service. therere way better gun stores right down the road.

Steve called Ruger directly while I was there and negotiated a resolution that was agreeable to all parties. btw...That particular mag was not even purchased from Steve. Small but not bad selection but TERRIBLE service

Steve and the guys at the shop are great. They have helped me several times in making good decisions about firearms and ammo. Order a new Ruger 10/22 Takedown Rifle. They agreed to match Bass Pro Shop sale price and Steve even called and complained to his distributor when it was taking to long to arrive. This is MY gunshop for sure.

I went to merrimack to buy my first handgun. I had a few questions of what type of gun would be good for me since iam really inexperienced. The employees seemed to be annoyed with me and my questions and were very unwilling to help me find the right gun. It was a very awkward experience and I ended up leaving with nothing. Customer service is a big thing for me and this buisness has none. I will not be coming back.

I went to Merrimack Firearms last night 03/02/16. I worked with Blake and his customer service was impeccable. I bought an S&W SD9VE and this is my first gun. When I meantioned this to Blake he spent the extra time to explain to me some dos and donts, showed me how to quickly, safely and properly clear jams if they should happen using snap caps, and showed me how to take it down for cleaning. When the gun wouldnt click into my holster, he took a look at it and solved the problem even though I bought the holster elsewhere. And they also honored their internet price which saved me $50 on my purchase. I will definitely go back to Merrimack Firearms for my future firearm purchases. Thank you
