Never crowded. Everytime Im there Ive encountered helpful pleasant employees. Nice selection and sale prices too.

We visited the Salon Mrs. Oneka is so amazing inside and out. She did the hair of a picky 9 yr. Old., When finished (under an hour) not only was my 9yr. Old over joyed (and sported a new attitude, to match the new style) I was very pleased with prices, time, cleanliness of store and all the precautions in place due to this pandemic. Not enough cashiers very sad Ive been shopping jc pennys over 40yrs

Not a great selection for womens plus size clothing. They have it all shoved in a small area in the back of the store by bedding. Shoe selection wasnt great either. Service was good and I love the dressing rooms. Its incredibly helpful to have so much room. If they would have more selection and a better location for plus size women (big and tall men have a good selection and area towards the front) then I would give the full five stars for this store. They did overcharge for a clearance item but made it right when we noticed and went back in.

Worst customer service at checkout. The line is 6-7 customers deep, cashier had no customer service instinct to call for help until after she leaves the checkout area to get something for the customer in front of her, that customer was still not me, and I asked in a raised, bold but not yelling, tone, How deep does the checkout line have to be before you call for help AND NOW, youre walking away from the register?? Very bad customer service

I want to love Pennys. JCP has been a huge part of our lives for years. The few times Ive been lately - long waits to cash out. No Associates on the floor. Good Quality - OK prices.

Saw their site on phone. Went there hopefully. I am handicapped. I discovered bedding was in the rear of the store. No handicap carts. It took me 12 minutes to get there to find the were out of stock. They would take my order and 8 to 10 weeks possibly deliver if I paid in advance. Another 12 suffering minutes back to the door.After consulting my phone I discovered MattressFirm was 3 blocks away. I called and Steve the manager answered in 2 rings. He could order a Sealy mattress built to my needs and deliver it in 4 weeks. We looked at the specifications on the computer. I bought it! Thanks Steve

Vicki helped us with engagement rings and were so excited! Theyre having an amazing sale, so well be back to purchase them tomorrow 😁😁😁!!! Yayyyy!!!! She was absolutely amazing.... very friendly, knowledgeable, extremely polite and outgoing, helpful and joyful! She made the time fun and exciting for both my fiancee and I. Friendly people, nice selection of products; however, dressing rooms appeared dirty. I did not feel comfortable trying on clothes there.

Had to go to 3 registers to find a cashier. Then had to wait because the cashier, who is a manager, forgot to open the register for the day. The item I was purchasing rang up double the price advertised on the sign. I had to wait some more while the checked the price and made the adjustment.

I shop here in the ladies and children’s dept as well as household items, shoes, handbags and salon products. They have a good selection, quality products, reasonable prices when you can apply coupons or discounts. Good sales. Need a bigger children’s DEPT for kids older than 6 yrs old. Once they grow out of 6T there isn’t much of a selection in items or sizes and prices are high unless on sale and discounted with coupons. Enjoy their reward program when it works. Like that I can use coupons on higher priced salon products. Like that they carry affordable Disney brand clothing and toys. Like that they carry Carter brand infant/toddler clothing. Like that they carry Nicole Miller handbags and have excellent sales on handbags. Most employees are friendly and helpful except in the children’s dept. Long term female employee isn’t very friendly or helpful and doesn’t want to be bothered. New younger male employee in the same dept is immature and unprofessional as he was busy playing with toys instead of assisting customers when requesting assistance.

Needed a dress shirt for the hubby in big and tall, and they had them with a great sale, the staff was friendly and very helpful, store was very well set up and clean

Nice store. Hopefully they can make it for many years to come. Better quality clothes to Wal-Mart. Look for the clearance items and online with. Coupons. Do a quick Google search on your phone and show it at checkout. Nice place to get a haircut also. My walk in was welcomed.

I ordered something online when I was at the store because they were out of stock and when I tried to call to check on the status, the automated phone system was confusing. However when I finally made contact with a person at their distribution center, he was very nice. Unfortunately they do not have any information of your status. I was told to call the store where it was to be shipped to. The information on the automated phone service should be improved. Once I reached someone the transfer disconnected me. After my fourth call I was finally able to receive information. Come on JC Penney, you can do better than that! You need to revamp your automated phone systems and phone numbers online as to who to call to find out information/status on orders!

I enjoy shopping at this store and today we had an amazing sale staff that helped us... Alyssa! She should be in public relations! Well done!However, I need to speak about the credit cards for jc penny. Years ago I had one, I never missed a payment except I was late one time because of the mail. I do not owe them one penny! My husband and I tried to apply for one today.. after 30 minutes waiting my husband hung up from the card. The company for the credit card is going to sink JC Penny, wait and see!

Are clean establishment nice helpful sales reps on the floor and being a card number Im able to get an additional 20% off the ticket market sell items which makes a lot of the items that I purchase a super great boys. now thats money in the bank thanks JCPenneys keep up the good work

The Jc Penny was clean and i liked that the sophora was located inside the jc penny.

Went to the Labor Day sale, it was fantastic. I bought clothes for my upcoming cruise at a fraction of the original cost! So happy. Skirt $5.20! Shoes $7.00. Dont miss their sales and always check clearance rack.

Great optical department

I like the store and staff is helpful. Its tricky knowing the cost of some clothing items during sales because items can be found on other racks. The store is clean and organized.I wont do order online, pickup in store because it takes so long, and other customers are just rude to the employees back there. Its not their fault. Thats between management and corporate. I also found the locations of the bathrooms to be odd. The womens restroom is by the mens and the mens restroom is in the kids section...by the kids dressing rooms. My husband and dad thought that was strange as well.

Went to get my hair cut with few highlights. Waited 10 minutes until woman came to see what i wanted. It was 5.50p. She said no one was available to do. Said she could make an appt another day. I am disabled hard to get around. I dont understand the special times for simple stuff. And should be posted on web site. Woman was just dismissive, like too bad for you!

1 star is generous. The staff is terrible.. as I was checking the counter person, Paula insisted on clocking out right as I was about to pay. So I had to switch registers because Paula couldnt take my cash because her shift was up. Everything else is great... organized store with great prices. Very poor, poor service

I like shopping at JCPenneys. Its a clean and friendly store. If they dont have an item, they will help you order it. Only issue, I wish they had more people on the floor to help me find something. This is the only store at the mall that had a great selection of curtains and drapes.

Id honestly give these guys a half star if possible! Checked there website for an item that was sold out at every store in Melbourne and drove to this location because they have the item listed as having one left! When I arrived after the drive from the Melbourne mall I showed the older man behind the counter of the watch department the item I was looking for only to be told they dont carry this item! I showed him the website and told him its listed they have one left but he threw his arms up and said they dont carry that item and walked away! Couldnt get another word in he just walked away! My thinking is why would they list something on there website they dont carry much less say they have one remaining? Then with the excellent customer service this guy has cant figure out how Sears is going out of business but this guy and store are still around?

Went in to pickup an order. Wanted to look at clothing after I picked up my order. It took 25 minutes to get my order. After that length of time, I just left. Liked the product, not the process to get it.

Im not sure how this place stays open the staff definitely outnumbered the amount of people shopping. But the shelves are full good selection decent prices and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Kind of an older mall and department store. Seems run down, but you get the feeling theyre doing the best they can with what they have. Sephora inside JC Pennys is staffed with lovely people and thats the real reason I visited. Ill definitely be back.
