Went into the store with2 pairs of broken glasses as I’m pretty hard on them. Lenses were in good shape but frames were toast. Frank was incredibly helpful!! Although they did not have my particular frames, his amazing eye for detail was able to pick out frames that fit my lenses perfectly and we were able to pop them in with no problems! Thank you Frank!! You are awesome!!

Very pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Overall pleasant experience. The exam was reasonably priced and efficient and the wait to get my new glasses was half that of other places I went to first. I would definitely recommend them for your vision needs.

I thought that I would give Eyeglass world a chance, see what kind of quality products and services they offer. Well that was a mistake. I come inside and sit down minding my own business and patiently awaiting some help.An employee then proceeds to walk a good 10 or 15 feet across the store to get closer to me to tell me to put on a mask. I am a fully vaccinated individual whom has severe COPD. What I found odd about the situation besides her not minding her own business, was if she is so concerned about her safety why on earth would you get closer than 6ft away from me? Also if your mask is helping save you then me wearing one or not shouldnt effect you whatsoever... because youre wearing your mask. So needless to say I wont be spending my money here nor will I come back in the future.

What a great experience with minimal cost. I called Eyeglass World and made an appointment for my Son and I. We were seen the next day. Eyeglass world is taking extreme measures to keep everyone safe by following the Covid 19 guidlines. When we arrived Dana and Darrah explained in detail they needed to take our temperature first, while we had our masks on. They instructed us to feel free to look around and any frames we tried on and were not the ones we wanted we simply needed to place them in a tray they provide for us so we wouldnt cross-contaminate for other customers. Once we found the frames we loved, we turned in our boxes that had a few frames we didnt want to Dana who placed them in a larger container that was for re sterilization before being placed back on the display racks for future customers. They made our experience so comfortable even with the strict Covid 19 guidelines in place. Thank you ladies with all your help and keeping us safe as you possibly could during our visit.Our glasses were ready the next day and they were perfect.Thank you Eyeglass World. Your employees are knowledgeable about your products and made our experience a great one.

Let me start this by first stating I completely understand everywhere is short staffed.Arrived at 10:20 for my husbands and Is 10:30 and 10:45 eye exams. Wearing our face coverings as requested, however my husbands wasnt good enough for them. Quickly a representative came running over to provide a proper face mask.Waited 15 minutes and no one could come to check us in and give us our new patient paperwork.While walking out the lady who supplied the mask sat by the door flabbergasted as I told her to cancel the appointments since she could just stand around worrying about masks, but couldnt check us in or find someone who could.Two employees were standing around, another two walking around, one assumed to be the doctor (white coat) and no other patrons in the facility.LensCrafters here we come.

Stopped in to see about ear grips to keep my glasses from falling off when I bend over. They didnt have any but Darrah fixed my frame for me at no charge by altering the end tips. Had no clue that could be done. Made me a very happy woman considering I didnt buy my glasses from them.

I walked into their store to have a pair of glasses serviced. I was told by the supervisor that she cannot help me until I wear a mask. I told her that I have a medical condition which makes it difficult for me to wear a mask. She referred me to her manager who said I needed to come back at a time when they arent mandating masks in the store. Horrible service. I will never return.

The wait to be taken care of after your done with the doctor is long. The eye Exam was pleasant. But when I came back Joel the manager at the Merritt island store was not going to give me my Pupillary Distance which is your eye measurement so you can purchase at another place. Some people cannot afford the prices that were showing me. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store in the past. He says It takes business away from their stores.He was not willing to give this to me. so be aware if you need glasses that are less expensive than these folks your gonna pay out the yang even with your insurance. I have never had this kind of trouble. Shame on you Joel!

I came here on a whim to find glasses that I like, which is hard. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and this is the first place that gave me the b1g1 deal. My prescription is very high and I usually would have to pay for the extra lenses, which is a couple hundred itself. Here I paid an extra 10 for the special coating and that was it! They definitely earned a lifetime customer in me.

So getting old is tough … when I packed the trip I forgot to pack spare contacts and solution. I thought no problem just call up Eyeglass World in Merrit Island where I got my last exam. We called for three straight days to get them to fax the prescription to us. They had many different answers on why we never received it because they always took care of it and was our fault on why we never received the fax. We finally called corporate and explained our problem and we received the fax within 30 minutes after complaining about how bad of service their we received at the Merrit Island store … smh.Once I got the fax I called Vision Clinic in Kalispell MT to order contacts from them but they said that it would take a week to get them but they had a sample set that they would give to me. Hooray for Vision Clinic for outstanding service and you already know how I feel about Eyeglass World .

The staff was wonderful!! I was helped by Dana for my daughters glasses on Wednesday night, went back on Thursday Dana helped us again. I made an exam appointment for Friday Cindi at the exam part was great and Dr. Duke was very thorough and explained everything he was doing and why. Went back to the glasses section and Dana help me with my glasses and contact. Would highly recommend and will come back.

Ive been coming here for a few years now and have had a consistently good experience. Working with Jordon, the assistant manager, is so easy and fun I will continue to come back to this establishment to work with her in the future! There was an incident with a wrong perscription and she very professionally addressed the issued as oon as she heard about it without hesitation. She goes above and beyond, even helping me pick my final pair of glasses!Dr Olsen is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions (Im likely too curious) about the exam and what results meant. He also gave me several pairs of contacts to try as I was switching perscriptions rather recently. Its nice to be able to talk to someone who is confident and is able to answer all my questions.Could easily be a consistent 5-star experience... as long as you dont have to interact with a woman named Darrah. She is rude, abrasive and repeatedly interrupts you while talking with other associates.Everyone else is fantastic!

Went in for a contact appointment. When I got home I looked at the bill and they charged me $50 for a fitting fee which Im didnt receive because they didnt have my contacts prescription in stock. I called to ask what that charger is for and they said the trial pair of contacts which I didnt get cuz they didnt have. She said she could take my prescription back if I didnt want to pay it. And she would order the trial pair of contacts in my prescription. I guess they never came in so I ended up having to order the prescription the doctor gave me, the prescription he gave me was it right and I cant see out of my right eye with the contacts in. Now I have a Years worth of contacts that I dont need

I went in for glasses and contacts. Most everyone was friendly but thats as far as it went. The optometrist got my prescription wrong for glasses and contacts. I went to pick up the glasses (its a 45 mile round trip.) I couldnt even read the dashboard on the car. Eyeglass world did the right thing and sent them off to be redone. I was given trial contracts, they were wrong. The optometrist never returned any of my calls to have the prescription changed .25 stronger. I had a different contract supplier contact them about the prescription and they were told the prescription was expired after just 2 months. Everywhere else its a year. Now I have to go somewhere else for another eye exam. Horrible customer service. They lost my business and my wifes because of their optometrist customers service

I went to there store for glasses and contacts. After receiving my sample contacts I had trouble removing one, for days. So I called the store the secretary said Come on in and Ill see I can Help. Long story short the staff at the Merritt Island went above and beyond helping me in my despite time. The Dr. rushed me in to the exam room, did a scan on my eye to see if there was any damage. Educated me gave me a prescription for anti biotic for the eye and set an appt for first thing next morning. 2 days later I returned to get my new glasses. The Dr. And Secretary address me by my first name as they inquired about my condition. Even the floor sales lady went the extra mile to find me a replacement contact in a pile of boxes that had just arrived that morning. Thank you Eye Glass World

Everyone in this store is very pleasant. We went in to make an appointment for eye exams. At the time, we specifically asked if our insurance would cover the exam and were told that we would have a copay and the rest would be covered. We couldnt get an appointment for three weeks. Two days before our appointment, we got a call from corporate, and Cindy told us that our insurance would not cover our eye exams. We would have to pay up-front and hope to get reimbursed! If we had known this when we first asked, it would have been helpful...now it feels like a bait and switch. The worst part is that weve already waited three weeks for our appointment and now we have to wait three more weeks for our appointment with an office that accepts our insurance.

Once we finally got someone to help us they said theyd be right back to make the appointment and 8 minutes later we just went ahead and left. No one else in the store except for one customer and four technicians. Im sure our business will be appreciated someplace else.

Absolutely, by far the worst experience I have ever had with TRYING to get my glasses. First and foremost I would highly recommend hiring an optometrist who can understand the value of a persons time. When I schedule an appointment for 10:45, one would not expect to arrive at 10:15(plenty of time for paperwork) to find that not only has the 9am appointment not been seen, but the optometrist has not even shown up yet. After waiting until 11:15 they finally called the 9am appointment in...but not to see the doc, just for basic measurements. I was told that I would be rescheduled for tomorrow. I DONT THINK SO. With one call, I was able to make an appointment. I arrived on time, got seen quickly, and received my glasses in less than 2hrs. 20/20 is simply a far superior brand when it comes to customer care, satisfaction, and speed of service. Dont waste your time at eyeglass world. This place is simply awful and should be ashamed of itself for even having a storefront or calling itself a place of business. I beg that someone from the corporate level contacts me in regards to this matter.

I was really clueless on what color or style of glasses I needed and they all three jumped in quickly to each help me out. While selecting lenses, I had a question about one of the higher priced lenses and Joel gave an outstanding explanation and it was obvious that he really took the time to become an expert on his products. Was at this location maybe a year ago and had tests for glasses and contacts, for myself and my wife. Spent over $1100 on 4 pairs of glasses and 2 boxes of contacts. Had a problem with a pair of my glasses I wear every day at work. Went in thinking I could get them fixed or even have to buy new frames, cheaper than all new glasses. The lady asked if they were under warranty. Great question I thought, lets check. Got some info from me and said sorry there was no warranty. I said ok, can I just get them fixed. The response put me on the floor. There was nothing they could do for me What? Not even, we could see if we have frames to fit the lens..... I will never give this company another penny.

The visit with Dr. Vincent was good. She has good bedside manner and went into detail about my eyes and the images her technician took. But buying glasses was an odd experience. I got a rude off-the-wall comment from the lady handling my purchase. But the other saleswoman was nice and helpful so...you know.

I really needed this eye appointment, its for a new job that Im starting soon. Ive had issues in the past with professionalism and a rude doctor but looked past it. This time is the last straw, I made an appointment for today I had numerous reminder calls and texts from this company and I confirmed two times, I walk in today and the doctor says they have no idea where these appointments are coming from, I walked out without saying a word, I would never come back to eyeglass world again.Edit: In addition to this, I tried to order contacts through their website a day afterwards and was told that I need a valid prescription. So I called in to get a prescription and they ironically told me that I needed to schedule an eye exam! I told them that I had scheduled an eye exam and walked in through the doors and was told that I did not have an eye exam scheduled that day, they said they were sorry, didnt know what happened and only said theyre availability was in two weeks!. So now Im stuck without being able to order contacts and I have to wait two more weeks to get an eye exam for one that I had already scheduled??? Unbelievable!!!!!

All I can say is WOW! Eyeglass world, in Merritt island is doing an outstanding job during these trying times! I appreciate them taking everyone’s temperature before they enter and providing everyone with mask to wear. Grateful to see another establishment taking all the necessary precautions to keep us healthy and safe! The staff was clearly overwhelmed. Bombarded with phone calls and dealing with late patients but kept it together and was constantly moving forward! Regardless of the time crunch. Doctor Sylvia took the time to throughly explain my eye exam and results. Even though my appointment was interfering with her lunch break. She took her time to discuss what contacts lenses would best fit for me and answered all my questions. I’ve had other doctors but would recommend this doctor! Cydni, at the front desk holds the place together. I cannot believe she only has two arms. Thanks again Eyeglass world staff!! We appreciate you and the sacrifices you make for us!

I asked for a refund of over $650.00. A complete waste of a month of my time. The store has no focus. First visit was the day before thanksgiving 2019. Glasses were ready Dec11 but the lens were not correct. They were recut and arrived back Dec 26 still not correct. The field of vision was not in the center as measured. Don’t waste your time.

Every single time I called (at least 7 times), I was placed on hold for 8-15 minutes regardless if it was for an appointment, place an order, check an order, or even request a copy of my prescription.The eye exam resulted in the doctor trying to push a specific brand of contacts which do not work for me, then appeared frustrated when having to use my regular brand. Additionally, the doctor appeared more interested in getting out the door instead of ensuring a quality experience.The staff is very friendly and respectful. However, their technology is way outdated. Prescriptions get overwritten, paperwork lost, and orders not made or excessively delayed.I believe replacing Dr. O and improving office housekeeping/record keeping will show improvement. Otherwise, suggest going elsewhere for optometry appointments.Regarding selection of glasses and filling prescriptions, the store personnel are professional, personable, and actively meeting customer satisfaction.Thumbs up on the store side, thumbs down on the optometrist side.

This office is lacking in the customer service department. The receptionist refused to greet and interact with me during both of my visits. It was an uncomfortable experience. During my second visit to pick up my prescription she did not say a word to me and aggressively placed my trial contacts in front of me. I would not recommend this office if you’re looking for a pleasant experience, I definitely won’t be scheduling another exam or my child’s exam here.

I read all the bad customer reviews. Well a recent review from my visit the first week of 2016. I was greeted when I walked in by Jordan as walked to my appoint with the eye doctor. I believe it was Amanda who had me fill out the usually BS docs and insurance info and I was seen by the doctor within a bout 10 minutes of the appoint time. Doc was friendly and had me in/out in no time. Jordan then helped me find a pair of frames that looked very nice. Im a single male and needed help picking out a pair of frames. Jordan ran my insurance and I had multiple option/costs. Michelle also helped with alignment of the progressive lens settings. Frames and lens ordered and had them within a week. I would assume very few basic lens may be in stock, anything cool looking and you will wait a week. Jordan is the young lady who looks just like Alex Dunphy from Modern family. She will help you find a cool set of specs.

The office here does indeed lack integrity, specifically Stephanie, typical car salesman pitch, had me waiting FOREVER on a quote, and when I asked her to take off all the extra, she still left the extra insurance they offer. When I was physically went in the location to be helped they were extremely helpful! The reason why I am giving them two stars is because I am out of town on business and I asked for a my contact prescription to be faxed to a different office. The first fax went through but with the wrong script, the second/third/fourth fax never went through, and the last time I asked for my CORRECT script I finally got it but the doctor never signed it. I will not be going to this location again!!!!

I saw Dr. Olsen and had the worst experience. I was given a prescription for new glasses from him that I got filled there. When the glasses came in the prescription wasn’t much better then my old glasses. I saw him and he made a slight adjustment to my glasses and when they came in they were not much better. I was very disappointed and upset so I went elsewhere to get a new prescription. The new doctor informed I had cataracts and maybe glaucoma!! He never once mentioned this to me. Unbelievable! Now onto the specialist for further testing.

I will never go to another location! I’ve been overpaying at the eye doctor for years. Little strapped for cash so I stopped in here. With my 3 year old in tow. Of course the glasses were great, a huge selection for a reasonable price. I had a small hiccup with my insurance that the staff helped me navigate, and my glasses were done and perfect the same day. You can’t ask for much more. But all of the associates here went far above and beyond with my son. They were so patient with him, included him in what they were doing, and just showed so much care and compassion for us. It was honestly an amazing experience, just getting new glasses. My son has a new best friend at this location and already says he misses her and wants to go back. Most places you go with a small child there is lots of disapproving glances, an air of “oh no what are they gonna wreck” but not here. It was seriously like home and family. Besfren, if you’re reading this, Maxwell misses you! 🤣 And thank you SO MUCH!

I am a very Senior WW II and Korea Veteran, on SS, so I have to carefully watch my expenditures .Needing new glasses, I Checked Glass Worlds website and was pleased to see two pair of glasses for $78.00. WOW, THAT was interesting.The low price was so interesting I decided to check it out, (which was what it was designed to do) but with caution. At first the desk gal was very evasive, citing Two pairs of glasses for $78.00. However, when I pressed her for the total cost out the door, She finally admitted that it could be between $150.00 and $350.00 (think it was). So this appears to be a Bait and switch operation.Though their Web site wording may be legal, it borders on fraud, deliberately not mentioning anywhere there are other large charges.So shoppers beware, make certain you ask lots of questions and know what the approximate total price will be before committing to anything. I also noted they put most of the better reviews at the beginning of their review page, and nowhere was bait and Switch mentioned. (probably deleted)Honesty is the BEST Policy!

I liked the convenient hours. The staff were exceptional. Although, I thought they told me they were having a frame sale and the frames were fifty percent off, but when I got bill it was $500. There are several problems with this company: first, there is, imo, a kind of bait and switch mentality here, because they dont just permit you to buy 2 glasses for the price of one, they require it. This is because the basic eyeglass frame, usually made of cheap plastic or wire is the exact same base regardless of the name on the eyeglass. (Do some research on this---you might be surprised.) They require double glasses because it is with all the add-ons that they make the real money. The second problem is that they have a rotating group of optometrists; since my prescription required changes three times, I had three separate optometrists; and all three disagreed on what prescription I should have. They even contradicted each other. I finally insisted (they did not want to do this) that they give me my old script back, since they had all agreed that my vision change was negligible. Also, they dont take Medicare or Medicaid--shame on them, and shame on me for not checking beforehand. Finally, they were quite friendly (well, the general staff was--cant say the same about all three optometrists), but I would trade friendliness for competence and forthrightness any day. I will not return next year for my next pair of glasses.

Great place friendly knowledgeable staff. This was my first eye exam in 15 years and was a bit nervous the staff walked me through everything. Met with the optometrist and he explained every detail of my eye. I found out I was nearsighted and needed glasses for the first time Jordan and her manager (forgot his name) were amazing at helping me find the perfect glasses for me ended up getting 3 pairs lol so many different styles to choose from. Broke my old glasses from an on line seller, decided to check out Eyeglass world. The independent eye Dr was fine. They ran a little late but were very busy and were nice, so no problem. Darrah was the technician that helped me order glasses. She was delightful. I had looked at the not favorable reviews before I made the appt, so I was noticing how everyone was interacting. I have to say, they were all wonderful. They were running buy one get one specials so the price was very competitive with the on line sites. I am waiting for my glasses still but with their guarantees and warrentees, I am sure they will be fine. I just wanted to get an updated review posted to say give them a try, they were great ! Great experience today ! I was skeptical because some of the negative reviews here, but the experience I had was way above and beyond what I was expecting. Darrah was the person that attended me, and she answered all my questions with a smile. I asked specifically what types of glasses I can get the same day, since I was desperate to get a pair while I waited for a very expensive pair I ordered in one of those medical offices. She explained to me what options I can get in the same day, so I made my choices, payed, and left. About 2.5 later I came expecting to be told my glasses wont be ready(again because of the bad reviews I read before), but there she was ... Darrah behind a counter getting my glasses ready at exactly the same time she said I could come back to pick them up. I got the two glasses for 78 with some upgraded progressive lens, so ended paying 258, which made me happy, since the day before I went to Lenscrafter, and the cheapest option was like 350 for only one pair, and it was really ugly!!.. The ones I got at the Eyeglass World I actually like... So all in all it was a really good experience for a first time glass buyer. Darrah even gave me a small class about how to use my progressive glasses ... There was also a tall gentleman which I dont know the name of, but was really nice too, I mean he came to me and my wife to say hello, and looked really concerned about us being all right with everything...So again thanks Darrah and thanks tall nice guy ... I will sure come back when I need my next glasses.

The actual STORE is great. Friendly and helpful staff with a wide variety of glasses to choose from. However, the doctor’s office part of this building is downright horrible. Rude receptionist, and rude and unhelpful doctor. Have never been so insulted in my entire life. Have always had eye problems and the doctor made me feel uncomfortable with myself when he mentioned I should have surgery to “perfect my vision and lazy eye.” It is absolutely none of his business what plastic surgery I should have done to “perfect myself.” I am only twenty years old, I have the rest of my life to think about surgery. The doctor’s name is Dr. Olson.

I have had the worst experience with the staff at this facility. Dr. Olson has the worst people skills, he is very stoic. Zero personality to make a patient feel welcome!! The prescription is very difficult to adjust to so I am not even sure that Dr. Olson knows what he is doing. My other transitional, non-glare prescription came in damaged so they said that theyd send them back and I would receive a call when they came in, not only did I not get a call when my other pair that I purchased came in they had had them for a week when I called to see if they were in, but the Eye World on Plumosa hasnt even sent my progressives back to be redone!!! I have a call into customer service and to the District Manager Crystal- I truly hope that they have a team leadership slash customer service building class in the near future because staff and doctor are terrible. I WILL NOT be recommending this company to anyone and I am in the medical field.

Got my eye exam and glasses there and it was quick and painless. The price for everything was great too. My only complaint was that it was hard to find the right pair of glasses for myself. A better premium selection would help. Also alot of other customers were rude and easily got upset when the employees tried to handle them, and it made me feel uncomfortable to an extent. But 2 pairs of glasses and an eye exam for just over $100 cant be beat.

The Management in Merritt Island are Crooks. I paid them over $400.00 in Advance for my Eyeglasses in the beginning of June 2019,when I got my Eyeglasses they were made completely wrong. There So called Doctor re did the examination and said he would reorder the right Glasses. Well then they got Lost coming to there Shop. To this day July 5th I have got my $400.00 refunded to me. But there office Manager says stay in Timeout. They will get me my refund when they will get ready. Dont bug us.

I purchased a single pair of glasses from this store and am very disappointed with the quality of their lenses. The glasses were only used for reading and the lenses scratched very easily. I am going to replace them through another vendor due to the poor performance received. If you purchase lenses at this store you better pay for the protection plan because you will need it. Also recommend you replace your lenses before the 1 yr protection plan expires.

AFTER I PAID FOR THE GLASS THE 2 SET OF GLASS (OVER $500.00) I WAS TOLD IT WOULD NO MORE THAN 10 DAYS. WHAT HAPPEN TO THE SAME DAY TURN AROUND?? I WAS SURPRISE TO SAY THE LEAST. CAME BACK IN 10 DAYS. YOUR STORE IS CLOSE SUN 23 DEC AND MON THE 24 DEC. I TOLD THE LADY I NEEDED THE GLASS DO TO THE FACT I DID NOT HAVE ANOTHER PAIR. WAS TOLD IT WOULD NOT TAKE 10 DAYS. WILL TOOK LONGER. I had broken my glasses while working on a cruise ship. No one in the area could help me. Walked into Eyeglass World and within 90 minutes, Savannah had set me up with 2 new pairs of glasses for less than $100!!! Lens Crafters wanted $300! 2 pairs for $78 cant beat that deal. And the manager was very friendly and was working real hard to adjust my new arrivals. He did a great job and did not rush even though there was a line. He also said to come by anytime for any more re adjustments.

Drove my friend there from Titusville after making an appointment on Monday for new glasses and got there only to be told that their tech left for the day. I drove there for no reason. They didnt even bother to call him beforehand to let him know their tech left. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I do not recommend this place to anyone for any reason. A waste of gas money and time.

I have been to this store several times over the past couple of years for myself and my two sons - they are generally helpful and courteous - maybe they have new employees compared to some of these older reviews. We have been in to have glasses adjusted and once my younger son broke his glasses and they were under warranty and were replaced right away, no problem.

Dont bother with an exam, its basically a prescription check. They make you sign all of the paperwork for dilation and dont do it, upsell you on imaging that the doctor doesnt even look at and youre out of the office in less than five minutes. Before you realize and its done or can ask questions the doctor has already shood you out front and gone back to his office and shut the door. Save your money and go to an actual optometris office since its not any cheaper to begin with.

I just went on monday and Be warned, Dr. Winn is very rude and nasty but the rest of the staff i interacted with was excellent. When Dr. Winn first walked into the room, i shook his hand, he took a step back, looked at me funny and said Women dont usually shakes hands...very sexist and disrespectful. i thought this was a place of business? During the exam he did not smile or attempt to be friendly at all. While making small talk about who does what for a living to avoid the awkward silence he created, he tells me Im too young to be in management. and said if i was a man he would have recommended i grow a beard to look older...after he said that i couldnt believe i was paying this guy, and what a strange comment to make!! once we were done i was never thanked for stopping in or being a customer i was quickly handed off to his direct secretary who seemed like she just wanted to get everything over with but at least she had a decent attitude. Michelle however gets a round of applause. If it werent for her i would have just took the prescription and left. She was super friendly, patient and very helpful. She made the experience positive and even suggested a few places to visit in our spare time as we are new to the area.We were thanked for our business and The other ladies that were working that day even made it a point to wish us a nice evening on our way out. Honestly folks, Michelle is the asset at that store. When picking up the glasses the next day, i saw her interacting with another customer and she was just as friendly and helpful. My advice as a consumer is to replace Dr Winn seeing as everyone else understands basic social skills and customer service.

I have been dealing with Eyeglass world for almost two months. I was told that with a contact fitting and new lenses in my existing frames I would be out the door in under $200.00 (this should have been my first clue). I have not replaced my lenses as of yet but just for the contact fitting Im at $150.00 so I have little faith that it will be under the quoted $200.00. Further more I have had to go back every week for a contact fitting due the optometrists inability to listen or demonstrate care. When I specifically stated that I did not like a certain brand because I have had issues with it prior he prescribed them anyway . When I came back saying that I did not like them and was having headaches he seemed shocked and made me feel like I was the problem, making derogatory remarks. The first set of contacts he sent me out with was one near sighted and one far sighted. I explained to him I had tried this in the past and I did not care for it yet he insisted I give it another try. Frankly, I cannot believe he let me drive out of there with these contacts in as I felt drunk. I could not see straight at all. He neglected to even test my vision with them in before he sent me on my way. I had requested a fitting for a bi-focal lens for astigmatism and was told it was $600.00 just for the fitting. I did my own research. This was a false statement. I can actually get a trial for FREE. He said that he would order them and it would only take a few days to get them. This was on the 11th. I called a week later and was told that not only were the contacts not there, he did not order them until the 13th. Tomorrow will be two weeks and I still do not have the contacts and have not received a call. What I do have are headaches everyday due to needing this to be situated. I sent an e-mail to Corporate a week ago and low and behold have not heard from them either. I have been wearing glasses and contacts for 36 years and have never had such problems or such a horrible experience. I even took my BF and sister in with me on two separate occasions so they could see how bad the treatment was. They thought I was exaggerating until then. They were in utter disbelief. I work hard for my money (for 5 attorneys so I am sure you can imagine), I expect a little better treatment when I am spending it. I guess I should apologize. I am sorry that I have had to wear glasses since I was a child. I am sorry that I am older now and my eyesight has only gotten worse. I am so sorry that I have astigmatism. And I am super sorry that I gave them my hard earned money and still have no contacts.

I went on vacation to Orlando and took a day to visit Cocoa Beach. I got so excited about seeing the ocean that I jumped in without thinking about taking my glasses off. As a wave swept over me, my glasses washed away. I always shop at Eyeglass World locally in Lincoln, NE and the service there is excellent. Since they already had my prescription on file, I decided to head over there. After calling, I was told by Kelsey (sp?) that 80% of prescriptions are in stock, and that they would definitely be able to help me and would have my info on file. I showed up at 5.35 pm, after reading online they are open until 7. When I got there however, on the door it stated there were only open till 6. I figured I might still get lucky. I walked in and spotted a lady in the distance (mind you, I couldnt see very well). I sat down in front of her and instead of being greeted, I got a huff and a puff upon telling her my story, followed by a snappy our lab is closed, we cant do anything for you. So basically, I drove 30 mins for nothing, after being told theyd be able to help. Susie, the snappy lady, was obviously ready to head home and unwilling to help out one last customer. She was extremely rude and very impolite. Before leaving, I went to find Kelsey, who helped me on the phone, told her that she made me drive over for no reason and that her colleague was very rude and very unhelpful. That was customer service at its worst. I sure hope they work on commission, because I ended up spending almost $400 at Lenscrafters at the local mall, because at least there, they were willing to help!!!

Just bought the 4th or 5th BOGO glasses. I have been a customer for 8+ years. I have NEVER had a problem! Today Jackie went above and beyond to help me and Jennifer was great getting me sized and checked out. I was surprised when I read the reviews as I have had to go back for minor adjustments and was treated well, quickly and courteously. The BOBOs are great as I always get a new pair of sun glasses which living in Florida is a must!!! I will continue to recommend Eyeglass World and will continue to be a happy customer.

We have no friends and DO NOT write reviews unless you are really good or really bad. with that said, This company really does listen to our issues no matter how big they grow! Thank you Nancy for responding to my wife A.Daise ! I got called by a member of management to apologize, and assure us we are valued customers! This moved me so much I put in an application for this location immediately! Dr, Winn was the only reason I did not want to work here before,despite looking for work.I came 30 min before your Merritt Island location closed and was out in 12 min. It was in the waiting time, I met Dr, Aron Shannon, very nice man with outstanding customer service. He ensured me that eyeglass world was a family and that Dr.Winn just got complacent. This never could feel more true when you have these women working, Michelle,Jackie,Wendy,and Amanda..as each team member mentioned really do provide fantastic service. They all, are THE reason I will shop exclusively with this store until, I either move or they leave. like seriously folks this Store is top flight! if you read A,Daise first review you will see even after we left on a bad day, they were great..I am here to drive that fact home even more. Like honestly, this store is great and nobody is out to get you! they take our feedback very seriously and it is a nice place, FINALLY we have found one.
