Exceptional work and beautiful craftsmanship. 100% would recommend to anyone doing engine rebuilding. Todd was extremely patient with me bringing in a cylinder head he hadnt seen before and did not turn me away and I was extremely pleased with the work. Great prices to top it all off.

Cylinders still have rings, rust residue all over, more to say, but all negative unfortunately. Had father in law pick up as a favor, I wouldnt have accepted it. Only compliment is the vendor they shipped crankshaft to, to have it ground down ACTUALLY DID THE JOB THEY CHARGED ME FOR, and looked FANTASTIC!SOFT PLUGS NOT CHANGED, (CHARGED FOR) NOT HONED, DUST & DEBRIS IN WATER JACKET

Great shop.They were able to turn around my ls block and heads in like 2 or 3 weeks even though they were swamped. Everything came back from them super clean and ready for loading it up with the rotating assembly

To describe the experience in one word....exceptional! Came in with an old 283 Chevy for a project my son and I were working on. After going through the block and heads it was determined for the goals of the project that this motor might not be the right fit. Todd and his crew gave us advice without taking advantage. Would recommend to anybody needed machine work.

I had a GM LS1 motor in a sandrail that cracked a couple pistons and needed to be bored out. The team at S&S did an awesome job on getting it done and keeping me updated on what was going on. They ordered my rebuild kit and had my motor assembled in less than 2 weeks. They are the best at what they i cant thank them enough.

Not good you guys lost a lifter that I had to replace and try to guess the size of. You marked the ones you pulled out of the head but lost or misplaced on of them. Finding a lifter or bucket for a valve that was already worn in was difficult.

Unfortunately I over heated my Tacoma last summer and my head gasket was leaking coolant into my cylinders. After asking around for a reliable machine shop I was referred here to Todd and SS machine shop. From the beginning I was impressed that I dealt directly with Todd I believe he even personally did the work plus I got the heads back in two days and a week later I am pleased to say the cylinder heads Todd machined are working perfectly! Been using s&s for years now. I have sent Many many types of cylinder heads from work and personal cars to s&s. A+++ work! Never had a problem always awesome service and very knowledgeable with anything from a stock honda civic to more rare 351c ford. Also the turn around time is amazing! Very reasonable prices as well.The only place I will use for any machining I will ever need done. Almost ready to drop off my ported 289 heads for larger valves and clean up so i can put my 66 falcon back together. I cant wait!!!

Great place, took my 1993 LS400 left it there Elmer saw timing was off he also did a little inspection to see if anything else was damaged and he replaced coil connector that was damaged and by the next day car was ready, very satisfied i recommend everyone to come here for anything ur car has problems with

Ive been a Certified Auto Tech and around the business of auto repair and machine shop work for a Lot of years and Ive got to say I was impressed both by Todd & his shop. Should I require machine work in the future, Ill surely be having a talk with Todd to schedule it in.

Best guys in the industry ! Loved the work done on my BMW E36 Cylinder.

Had a bottom end rebuild on my 4 cylinder Dodge engine several years ago. When I installed the engine, I found leaking front crack seal. Todd would not guarantee their work. Also, after 16 thousand miles, rings never seated. Burns oil like crazy. I write this review, years after, because I am spending hard earned retirement money to replace the engine. Draw your own conclusions.

Just had Todd and the crew do the motor work on a 350 chevy I am putting in a 280zx. They did a great job as usual. I have been using them for close to 30 years. Since before Todd took the shol over. Never a complaint.
