I bought 2 love birds in January. The woman on the phone said that each bird was $100. I came in and looked inside the cage and I saw a dead bird inside the cage. We got 2 love birds and then the owner charged us an extra $50 for each bird. 2 weeks later one of them died. 2 months later the other one died. DO NOT COME HERE!

Great store! Friendly people and the birds were fabulous!

I have always had rescue birds, but was unable to find a rescue cockatiel so I decided to purchase one. I thought he was a bit overpriced, but after having him nearly 6 months now he is worth every penny. He is super healthy and happy, a great companion! Their selection of toys and food are also great - my birds choose their toys over everyone else’s toys.

Got my budgie,Bruce, from ABS. He is healthy and awesome! They made sure I had all the right things before selling him to me, they held him for 1 week to make sure he was 100% weaned because he just came in that day and was around 8 weeks old, even made me bring him back a week later to make sure he was holding his weight. So far every time Ive been in the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I always love coming here. I dont even always come to buy things for my bird but just to hang out with all the other babies. These guys today were so friend and hopped right on us!The staff is very knowledgeable of the birds and care very much for them. Really great place.

Arizona bird store by far is the top bird store in the state of Arizona. Arizona bird store purchases my gigantic Manzanita for their exotic bird collection. We have been harvesting Giant Manzanita commercially for the past 10 years we Supply most of the exotic bird stores in Arizona and a lot of the furniture builders. Debbie owner-manager and .the most knowledgeable aviary specialist in the world and we work together to make sure that Debbie has the best Manzanita for their large aviary. Also Debbies only hires a person that is a team player those who work with her present staff well and is willing to do to do whatever it takes to learn the Industry and Debbies knowledge of Exotic birds is second to none everything that comes out of Debbies Mouth is factual knowledge. The store is incredible her selection of Giant Manzanita is vast because if she doesnt have what you were looking for all she has to do is call my personal cell and I will go live to find your perfect Manzanita. So if you havent actually visited Arizona Bird Store....Why not

A good location with lots of items, and a staff with a presumed skill set in birds (which I like better, and find more helpful, than generic pet stores). However, we didnt see as many birds as some generic pet stores (we were told they were in the back, so maybe our timing was off) and the bird types we did see seemed much more expensive than those weve seen in other stores.

Beautiful birds but was a lil dirty in there. Nice staff.

They hand feed their birds and have great prices for boarding them if necessary and they are the kindest too.

This place is cool they have a variety of birds and also a ton of necessities for the cages and other items. I would say they take care of these birds for sure and the offer military discount which was a very kind way to support veterans. We purchased a lovebird and all the equipment as well. Thanks Debbie for making things right on our first bird purchase!

Purchased my female normal grey cockatiel from this lovely store. They let me handle the babies and choose the perfect tiel for me. Almost every baby Ive handled at this store was loving. Almost a year later my ganymede is still all snuggles and love. Would 100% recommend.

The woman who trims the birds beak nail & wings does a wonderful job. What impresses me the most is she uses only nail files which is much more comfortable than a Dremel that would to us, feel like sanding our teeth.

Would give 0 stars if I could. This place legitimately stole my money. I put a deposit down on a baby bird and made weekly payments until the time they initially told me my baby would be ready to come home. After several visits and them refusing to let me see the baby, they said he had died and they lost my paperwork. I provided all receipts and my contract as proof and they refused to refund me or allow me to select another bird. Awful experience and I will never work with them again. Buyers beware.

The knowledge and friendships I’ve gained from the Arizona bird store have been nothing short of life changing. You won’t find a group of people more concerned about your bird anywhere. Not only do they love birds but they want you to have a healthy successful relationship with your bird and will do all they can to help you achieve that. Their selection of toys, cages, food and everything else is second to none. I’ll never go to another bird store.

Took my sons green cheeked conure there to have his wings and nails clipped, they did a great job at a very reasonable price. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, they also have a room with many different birds moving around freely that you can interact with.

The ladies here were very nice and very knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about the birds and take good care of them.

It was the first time my 5 yr old had seen the birds. He was even able to feed the African Gray. He loved it! Thank you for the experience!

My Grandson lives the bird store, although, he has to cover ears d/t auditory issues... Things have always been hyper loud for him since he was a baby!! Glad hell visit and make own adaptations. Victoria Appel

It is very great place to get your pet bird

Me and my wife went to see what they had to offer and possibly buy a bird. No one asked if we needed help and it look like they rather not have us there so they could close shop. They gave us no reason to stay and do business with them instead they gave us reason to leave and not come back!!

Everyone here is amazing and willing to teach and help in any way they can!! Ive gotten toys, a cage, supplies, and even my cockatiel from here! They offered a home for my budgie and shes now happy in their free flying cage! I love interacting with the birds here and learning as much as I can!

This little shop gets in some amazing birds. The staff helped me get a wonderful shoulder companion: Mercy the Albino Cockatiel. The staff gave me pointers to take care of my little feathered friend. Bird supplies here are also reasonably priced, the store offering deals of discounted seed with the presentation of their container. Amazing place!

Not very happy. Will not be coming back here. Brought my very small dog in and nasty lady aaid there can be no barking?? Really?? You couldnt hear yourself think over all the SCREAMING BIRDS . kind of ironic dont you think?

Went in wondered the store for 10 minutes no one acknowledged my presence or asked if I needed any help. I was looking to make a purchase of a bird cage. Left with out ever being acknowledged or offered help and I had questions about cages and pricing. I spent my $300 at another locally owned bird store.

Ive been looking into getting my first bird. Went in there to see them in person and get information. Like many other posters said, they ignored us very blatantly and just simply wanted us to leave. They dont seem to be interested in educating which is a red flag by itself. Birds are pretty, employees vibes are streight trash.

We got our little conure here and love her. This place is awesome and we love even just looking at the birds.

They are really high on their prices. Go to Craigslist and u will get a better deal. The staff was rude.

Let me start from the beginning, just so that I can give my full explanation for this review. This stores staff are extremely underpracticed, unprofessional, and disrespectful. When we first went in to get a bird, the condescending man at the desk told us how wrong we were about the bird we picked being a parakeet (correcting us stating it was a budgie when they are literally the same thing). After getting the bird we had a great 5 days with them when we returned him, as per their policy. He was underweight, not because of us, because the man who ORIGIONALLY gave him to us neglected the fact that he was underweight from the time he was sold to us and in fact gained weight from when we had him. The relatively nice lady at the front was adamant that they would take care of him and we can visit any time. We have called in twice since, the first of which felt like they just said he was fine, and the second of which the staff was completely and utterly disrespectful. If youve read this far, I urge you to purchase a bird elsewhere, as they will probably treat you similarly or your future bird.

Got my cockatiel here a few months ago. The staff is a bit light, but Ive had nothing but great experiences during my visits. They treat all their birds like family and I feel I received a quality bird that adapted very well to my home. Its a healthy and lovely little fellow.

The birds are clean and healthy, they have energy and you can tell the staff really loves them. Plus they have a ton of toys and spacious cages.

Love this place. Come here almost every Sunday, staff isnt in your face, but are helpful and kind when needed. Real chill, good bird supplies, and cheap cages in the front. All around a cool place

I bought Merlynn The Magic Cockatiel when he was a baby from here and 3 years later, Merlynn is in show business doing magic shows with me and has even auditioned and qualified for America’s Got Talent (his taping in front of the judges was canceled due to Covid restrictions last year) I highly recommend this store for your feathered friends needs. Grooming and boarding services are also available.

It was amazing! So many different kind of birds, supplies, food, cages and toys! What more do u need, one stop shopping! The staff was so knowledgeable and helpful, the owner Debbie was a doll! All my birds needs taken care of with a knowledgeable staff and wide variety of merchandise.

The old dirty cages out front kinda set the tone for me, and while I loved the exotic birds they had as store pets inside, their hours for the bird room are rather limited (due to cleaning needs), and the prices were really high compared to other stores. It felt very cluttered inside. They didnt have much of a selection of birds when we went, but they had a nice selection of toys. The staff were just Meh about not having any animals in, and were unable to give us a timeline for new animals.

Amazing exotic birds! The staff are knowledgeable and the birds are WELL cared for. This is a must visit place to adopt or play with the birds!

I’ve been to this store 6+ times in the last 2 months and I’ve never once had a bad experience with customer service. I’ve recently gotten into birds and my grandfather gave me his two parrots. I’ve gotten plenty of toys and even got my blue and gold macaw a healthier seed that she loves so much! The staff is very knowledgeable and very attentive to helping the customers with any questions you have! They have new cages inside that are very reasonably priced with a different variety of sizes and styles and they also have used ones outside that are in very fair condition for a really great bargain!! One of my favorite parts of this facility is that bulk buying of different nuts and seed! My parrots love the walnuts and almonds in the shells. They offer plenty of services for your parrots such as grooming and boarding and you can tell they are very passionate about what they are doing. I asked them if they would be able to order a shower perch and with out question they said they would be happy to order it. I 100% recommend this store and hope people shop local here and support them during these times rather than multi millionaire corporations.

I honestly can’t explain how good of a store this is.Today was my first day going to this place and at first I thought that there weren’t many birds and everything but boy I was wrong.It was amazing and my little brother got a little bird and also they let the birds to go on your shoulder or whatever if your comfortable.But you guys should visit

Such a cool bird store. The employees have various birds that they own who call the store home. They hang out in one room where you can experience exotic birds flying around you. Cages galore, all the premium bird feed you need. Services to trim your birds nails and wings. My young girls love coming here.

Wonderful store BUT we wasted an hour trip to buy some birds and came home with the wrong one. And Wrong sex! This after thoroughly explaining which ones we wanted. The girl who helped us seemed to lack much knowledge about birds. Spent near $500. Now we have to return to exchange it. Such an inconvenience for an easily avoidable mistake. I wish we would have check the box but I didn’t want the birds to escape.

Ive never been treated so rudely...I asked to see their birds since well, its a bird store.. lady sweeping asked if I could read because there was a sign and no I cant, I can look through the door which you cant see anything except for cages. I will never go near there again, I recommend going elsewhere for your bird s supplies ... unexceptably rude .... and no mask either as her nose was running and she was hacking ...

The cages depicted are not appropriate size, and the species they have are uncommon in the pet trade, so it is suspicious to have such. Turacos need entire aviaries to themselves, and they are kept in cages barely big enough for a macaw. Please look for a registered bird sanctuary instead. I cant imagine how many of these guys end up in rescues. I think theres a good one in Peoria, Ive heard good things about it. Please do not support breeding!!! Most parrots go through an average of 5 homes through their lifespan and 80% are re-homed within 2 months of ownership

We got our lovebird here and shes been so fun. They provided all the information about what we needed to be successful with her. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Visited the store a week and a half ago and bought their “just fruit” mix for parrots and it has stuff growing in it. I would not recommend purchasing from this store as it would be putting your birds health at risk in my opinion.
