I am changing my review, thanks to Edward taking charge and ensuring my issue was taken care of, he came out to our home and personally reviewed the issue and provided a solution that left us with very happy experience, wish everyone in the company was as customer oriented as he was, problem has been resolved.OLD POST No longer relevant:It seems I have to put one star to post, NOT a customer oriented business. We had their template person come out to measure our existing counter top and told them we wanted to ensure the height of the edges on the new counter top matched the old. They agreed no issues, then on delivery day, we get a counter that is almost an inch shorter on the sides than what we had asked for with the template person. When we called the store to get the issue resolved, the representative we talked to was only interested in arguing about how it was not their fault and that it was an issue with the cabinet. She also argued that width and length was what we and they had measured, that part is true, but we were not talking about width and length, we were talking about height, there is a full inch difference. The representative hung up on us rather than helping resolve the issue. They did say they would send someone back out but would have to charge us for it, really???? for their mistake? come on! Im including the pics I took of the difference. I recommend if you want the job done right.... find someone else!!!

Had an issue with an island top we ordered. After a horrible experience with customer service, we had Edward come look at the problem. He resolved it. Looks stunning. The installers were great, the guy that came to measure was great. Unfortunate we had to deal with one bad apple. Excluding the sour experience with that one employee, the rest of the experience was great.

We recently decided to put a bar area in our backyard, and was looking for a small countertop. I found you guys online and I called. I spoke to Danielle and she told me about the remnant slabs that you had. I was surprised at the selection you had in stock, and we chose a slab which was called Ascent from Wilson Art. We were also told that it was only $5/sqft if Desert Sky did the fabrication and installation. They came out to our place in Scottsdale and measured the area, and even gave us a great design idea for a wet bar to be included. The process was easy (on our end) and priced less than our budget. If you are looking for a countertop for a small area, check out the selection at Desert Sky. They were very pleasant to work with and had some great suggestions. I will be recommending to friends and family! Joanne and Mark Graver

Had my bath vanity installed by desert sky. We choose a dark grey quartz and so far it has been very easy to care for and keep clean. We were very happy with their customer service, they installed on the date they had me set for and the end product looks perfect. I remodeled the entire bathroom and the countertop really sets it off. Everyone who has seen it says it looks awesome.

Very unhappy with their business practices and customer service. We bought a remnant from their boneyard and paid for delivery. They did not deliver the left over piece. At first they were refusing to release it to us even though they charged us for it. After a lot of arguing and being hung up on, they finally agreed to release it but still refused to deliver it.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYTotally screwed us over, ordered wrong cabinets, told us tough, his estimate is all in code so you really do not know what you are getting. Ordered cabinets that did not line up on purpose and did not tell us - another $1000.00 mistake. Yelled at us for not using his friend for our counter tops which we are sure he got a kick back for. Owners name is Rodney with an anger problem and really terrible customer service. Who purposely orders wrong cabinets !!! He has 3 store fronts because he could never depend on referrals !!!!! See you in court Rodney !!!!

I recently picked out a Linen (white) Quartz Remnant from Desert Sky Surfaces. I was really pleased with the service rep, Tom, who sat down with me to make sure the remnant would be big enough for my project. I had the measurements and shape in hand, so he designed it on their program. He informed me that we couldn’t do the whole countertop in one piece and stated that they would use 2 pieces, so I suggested that we put the seam where the existing seam on the countertop already was. He drew it up that way and I signed the design and quote. When countertop was installed, I was shocked that the seam was down the middle of the sink and fused together with a yellowish glue. Not only was this seam glaringly visible, but there was also a glue-filled chip. I told them I can’t accept that, it looks terrible!! They stated that white will always show the seam no matter where the seam is put. When I questioned why would the seam be in the middle of the sink if the seam will be seen, he stated he didn’t know why they would cut it that way either.I called Tom, who began to tell me that unless the customer states the seam should be elsewhere, they always put a seam down the middle of the sink. He insinuated that it was MY fault that the seam was there! He said that they would send out another installer to see if he can fix the seam, but don’t count on anything more than that happening. The second installer removed the glue and re-glued it, the seam is still an eyesore!! I sent Tom my copy of his design that I had signed. Tom said he spoke to Clint, who is either the owner or manager and he REFUSED to do anything more. They didn’t offer to make it right in any way. I have worked many years in the dental field and on the rare occasion that a patient is not happy with the dental work they were given, the dentist will make it right, even at a loss.I cannot believe that they can feel good about not trying something else. In the retail field we hear that the “customer is always right,” obviously Desert Sky Surfaces does not embrace this vital retail trait even when shown that their design reflected what the customer requested. I would be very cautious when dealing with this company.

We recently purchased a quartz remnant from the boneyard at Desert Sky Surfaces. The remnant we (my mother and I) selected appeared to be white with gray and silver flecks in it and matched well with our gray shower tile, backsplash, and cabinets after we walked outside to match these items. We were never informed of the remnant color name or any numbers to reference the specific piece chosen. The countertop that was installed in our bathroom is definitely not white, but an almond or beige/biscuit color. After contacting the company several times, we were not offered any kind of options to replace the countertop. They insisted this was the piece we chose and stated they had video and pictures of us picking that piece. I was not doubting it was the same piece, however, the color was extremely different then it was the day we picked it in the bright sunshine out in the boneyard. No one ever mentioned that the color could possibly look different in a home lighting environment versus the bright sunshine. We are not countertop experts and had no idea we needed to request to see the remnant inside, which is why we wanted to purchase for a company that specializes in countertops. Be extremely cautious when purchasing any remnant from the yard at Desert Sky Surfaces!!!!!Remove review

What a great place to source all kinds of countertop surfaces and even cabinets. Went there for a vanity countertop for one of our showroom cabinet display and ended up having them do all 6 kitchen displays. Perfect services. Highly recommended for residential & commercial countertops in Granite, Marble, Caesarstone, Cambria, Silestone and a variety of Quartz. They offer 6 standard edge profiles too.
