Most of the Ulta Beauty centers have very good staff. While they are a large chain having more choices you can find the same items elsewhere. Their advantage only means something anything if their staff is equal to their offerings. This Ulta Beauty was slightly better than the one visited earlier today.They dont carry an item I have been looking and that is not a negative. The reason I see them as slightly better is as I was about to exit a pleasant person actually said, could she help me find something? That is as lame as, welcome in. Today both stores are beautiful but staff could be better in communicating. As a customer there are many possible openings to be impressed.

Awful awful awful!!! I brought both of my daughters here tonight for a haircut. Corinne did them both and they are both horrible! I am so heartbroken for my girls. I watched her cut my first daughters hair, who has very thick curly hair. I knew it was bad while I was watching her, she did not check the length or make sure it was even on both sides at all! I didn’t realize how horrible it was until I got home. She didn’t even dry her hair completely, and put some kind of product in it that felt like Palmade. There are long pieces underneath, the front is very uneven, it was cut way too short. I asked for just below the shoulder and she cut it ABOVE the shoulder. It’s supposed to be an A line Bob. This is extremely disappointing.My oldest was up second, I asked for a TRIM, the back to be a straight across and some light face framing layers. Should have been a super easy cut. The back is uneven, the front is choppy, and uneven… And Again her hair was sticky and gross when we left, and not fully dry. I had to rewash and dry both of them. I have never seen such poor work! If you care for your hair or your children’s, I would strongly urge you to go somewhere else, or at least do not use this stylist. She was lazy and very clearly did not know what she was doing.

I always have a good experience at Ulta. Customer service reps are very nice and Ive gotten my hair done there for years.

I had the worst hair experience of my life at this Ulta. The girl that did my hair used a 30 N or something like that, that was really strong, and left it on my hair for too long. She was really rough combing my hair out and when I asked her if she had a brush she replied “oh they haven’t been cleaned and we’ve been looking for another one all day.” She had another client arrive and was talking to them as she was coming out my hair, and not paying attention to what she was doing. I ended up brushing out my hair myself because she was hurting me so bad. When I looked at the comb that she had used, I couldn’t believe HOW MUCH of my hair was pulled/fell out. I can’t imagine the amount of hair that came off in the foils that she used, well actually I can, because about half of the thickness of my hair is now gone. I didn’t even get a blow dry. Although, I think if she had done anything else to my hair it would have fallen out completely. To make up for this, I got a free condition, a free haircut, and a discount on products that I needed because of her ruining my hair. When I look in the mirror I want to cry (and have) It took me three years to grow my hair out, and three hours for her to fry half of it off. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon, ever. And the most damaged my hair has ever been.Check out my review on Yelp for photos!

This is the worst location. Custom service is non-existent here. I will drive to power rd instead of going here and I live in Gold Canyon. I only continue to go to this location because of my hair stylest Calle. If she leaves theres no reason to go back at all.

I seriously hate this location,but go because its closest to my house.. The employees/girls here ARE VERY RUDE AND STUCK UP. EVERY time Ive came here Ive had to FIND someone to help me. Employees just walk past and dont even acknowledge me to ask if I need help. I only go here when I really need to. Lack of customer service and smiles! The energy here just isnt welcoming. Expect dirty looks or to be ignored. I DEFINITELY WILL HATE THIS LOCATION!WOW .

Honestly my experience at this location is never great. The staff aren’t very friendly, there is never a “hello welcome in, may I help you?” I also feel like they are always talking down to me when they actually DO speak to me. I always have to ask for assistance and when I do, even when I explain I have a certain price point, or something specific I’m looking for, they continue to try and pressure me into buying the more expensive items available claiming “it works” and then after when I finally give in, and get home and start using said products I’m never truly satisfied. So now I’ve had less than satisfactory customer service, I’ve spent WAY more than I intended, and I’m left with a product I don’t even want to use. I’d be inclined to go there more frequently if the environment was better and I could have someone work to find what it is I actually want and not just sell me what they want me to buy.

I came about 30 minutes before closing, but they spent all the time I needed helping me and didnt try to rush me out. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Great experience! Thank you!!

My wife and 7 year old daughter love Ulta. My daughter loves to try on different lipsticks and eye shadows. The staff at this location was really helpful and friendly towards my daughter and my wife. You can tell that they care about others and enjoy their jobs. Thanks for being one of my daughters favorite places to visit!

Delia is my stylist. She is great. Besides being a great stylist she is a wonderful person. Easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. I left feeling great. The rest of the staff in the entire store is friendly and always helpful.

I go to this Ulta at least 4 times a year. Sometimes a couple times a month. The staff is always really lovely. We got color matched for a new foundation this trip and the lady was so nice and friendly and took her time with us. I spend at least $100 every trip because there is always some new item I didnt know I needed. This time there was also an amazing sale. I havent used the salon but they always have full chairs.

Let me clarify that I LOVE Ulta Beauty; its one of my favorite makeup hubs. However, I have had multiple negative experiences at this particular location. Almost everytime I go in, the staff watch me intently and follow me down every isle, obviously to make sure I am not shoplifting. Last week I went in to buy a specific eyeshadow pallette which was slightly on the higher end as far as pricing goes. After I had thanked an employee for offering assistance (I had found what I was looking for and just wanted to continue looking), she continued to watch me. Id keep moving to other isles just to get some space to shop, but she would then follow and sort through products, still watching me. I would have been understanding if she would have offered to hold the item up front for me, as it was abit expensive. But being watched and followed is unnerving. The employees here give me anxiety and make me feel like I am doing something wrong when I JUST WANT TO SHOP. Ill start shopping at a different location; abit further from my house but at least I am not treated like a potential criminal.

I went to this location when half the stores were closed due to covid19. I went to buy my mom her favorite perfume for her bday. A lady asked me if I needed help she looked like the manager or supervisor. I told her I was looking for a specific perfume. She went in the back to look for it came out with a different kind of perfume and for a second I thought that was it until I noticed the name. I told her that was NOT what I was looking for and she said “I can go back and look again but that’s all I found” so I said yes please look for it. Well I guess she didn’t feel like dealing with me anymore she instructed another person to come up to me to inform me she didn’t find what I was looking for. This was the second store I’ve been to so I asked this new person if she could let me know what ULTA store has it in stock so I don’t have to CONTINUE TO STRUGGLE and she replied we don’t have access to other stores merchandise. I didn’t ask her that at all I ASKED HER FOR HELP FINDING IT AT ANOTHER STORE. To me it made sense for her to gee do her customer service job that she gets paid hourly for and help me find it instead of me wasting gas and money. I was going to buy other things but I decided to just leave because that’s such poor customer service I’d rather buy beauty products somewhere else.

I have been going to the salon for over 2 years.. I go every 4-6 weeks. Abby is so awesome she is always up for my crazy antics in changing my color.. She is super awesome. I would give 10 stars if I could. Great customer service.. Thanks ABBYUpdate: I still continue to go to Ulta my main stylist is Rachel and trust me she is gifted. I would however recommend all of the hairstylist!!! I continue to get the best service my hair has ever seen!!!

Brittany is my hairstylist. I absolutely love her. It took a lot of shopping around to find someone that can cut my hair the way I like it. She also does a fantastic job on my high lights. Then of course the other stylist. They are all so helpful even when youre not their customer. I spend a little more here to get my hair done but I find its so worth it. Thanks Brittany for making me so happy. See ya in 8 weeks.

Madeline always does a great job on my hair color and cut. She is very knowledgeable about different hair products and what works for different types of hair.

Worst cut in 6 years. It was like I was at great clips. I had Madeline or something like that. She rushed me out, didn’t even style it just gave me a supper frizzy blowout. Also I asked for some layers and what do you know, no layers

After the 3rd attempt, I was tired of typing the review. At least I was able to save part of the review to my phone the 3rd time before it sent me back to the website, and of course I was unable to copy & paste it to the site.

This is my favorite Ulta in all of the surrounding area. While others nearby are poorly stocked and dont seem to care that youre there, this is not true for this location. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by the staff who seem happy that Im there. The staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I have. They also stock really well. I visit this location often and will continue to do so.

Luv this place. Not only can u find nice quality brands such as two faced etc that affordable and u also, have the fun makeup as well. Did u know they also do hair, facials, eyebrow and more.

Went in and usually theyre very friendly. Might be this specific shift but there are two employees who hang out in the right area. There were plenty of people asking questions but they were to invested in each other and looking at makeup theyd be buying. As a customer oriented person, they should leave their shopping till after their shift or at least when its not as busy. I tried asking for help and pretty much threw me to an aisle and continued on with trying on makeup. Disappointed.

Since getting new staff, this Ulta is by far the best one around. Most of them are very eager to help you and genuinely care about your skin needs and what you like/want in makeup. If you go, ask for Hannah! She took the time to find the best foundation for me and she is incredibly nice and fun to talk to. And she remembers her customers, which is a plus. Im usually a Sephora girl, but these new girls make me want to come back for all my makeup needs!

My first time for a styled haircut. I told Jordan I wanted lots of feathering and short layers. For 1.5 hours I sat there. She dried it straight and said I could style it the way I wanted. I walked out and the layers were long. No feathering. I tried it on my own and my hair looks the same as when I went into ulta. I will never go there again. They are full of empty promises and do not have a clue. I had to go to another salon and pay more to get the layered look I wanted. Ulta sucks.

This store is nice the people are very helpful but they REALLY REALLY BADLY need to air out the store. Smells so strong i can barley stand to be in the store within 10 minutes before my nose is running and i feel like i need a shower.

This was my first e xperience at this Ulta. I did find what I was looking for and then some items I didnt intend to purchase. I like that Ulta has high-end beauty items and cosmetics plus they have a ton of affordable cosmetics here as well. You can skip the drug store and find almost everything youre looking for at Ulta. The service want too bad either. I have 4 starts because there was one cashier that was not the most friendly person to encounter. Overall it was a great first shopping trip to this location. I would recommend.

The esthetician Ydys is amazing! Ive been getting my brows waxed for years, and Ive never been to anyone who is so focused and really takes the time to make sure she is making you look your best.

Love this store they have almost everything. But was disappointed the last time I went because I needed help with hair care products and there was no body to help.

Haircut by Deann was amazing. She listened to what I wanted and did it unlike most places. Then when it came time to color she was spot on with the color! Love this place!

Love Ulta make up and always go in to get some. However I never feel very welcomed. Maybe its because I dont look like a Barbie.

Staff is super friendly, but not too knowledgeable about the products they carry. I went in looking for chrome powder nail polish and was greeted immediately. After walking around for a while, I asked for assistance. Thanks lady who helped me stated they did not have the item I was seeking.I went back the very next day for gel polish and when helped by the manager, she also guided me to the chrome powder I was looking for the previous day. She stated that they had only had the item for two weeks.

I received the WORST haircut from this Ulta. The woman cutting my hair didnt want to wash my hair so she could eat her sandwich from McDonalds. The whole time she was cutting my hair she was slurping on her iced coffee from McDonalds. She cut my hair and brushed it. Thats all. My hair cut lasted 10 minutes. And I was not happy. She could careless if I was happy because she just wanted to eat. Isnt this what lunch breaks are for? I have had better hair cutting experience at great clips. Where my hair was washed, lasted longer than 10 minutes, and great customer service. So if you want to try ulta out for a hair cut I would advise otherwise!

I was very impressed by this Ulta! It was super clean, big, bright, nicely stocked, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable... and it had a ton of NARS products!! This Ulta is 23 minutes away from me (vs the QC one that is only 7 mins away), but worth the drive!

Go see Rachel in the salon. She does a great color/highlights, cut, and style. And she is super sweet too! I always look forward to my next me time.

My granddaughter and I love to go there and look around. There is so much to see and explore. We shop there but its very expensive so we have watch how many things we put in our basket, we can really spend a lot of money here, they have really awsome products and services.

I love makeup and go here often, but the people here are real snobby, they dont want you There too long, but it is a makeup place. If you dont mind then it doesnt matter, but I do. Youre spending ding your money there and they are snobby and judgy.

I went in to return some products, nothing too crazy, and I received the nastiest attitude from a sales employee named Rachel all because I didnt remember the phone number that I used. Rachel actually refused to let me return the products until I pulled up Ultas return policy online to remind her that I did not need my phone number to do a return to which she scowled at me and became even ruder which was completely unnecessary as it wasnt my fault that the employee did not know her own stores return policy.

Tracey in the Salon is a must. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Absolutely love what she did with my hair.

Products are to expensive, you can buy at Walmart and pay less even with their coupons. Unless you want products that Walmart doesnt sell. Also they have fewer and fewer cheaper brands. Mostly expensive brands now. I use to shop there a lot, but no more.

Friendliness and warmth would go a LONG way at this location. Today reminded my why I would so much rather go to another location.

Worst place to ever have a hair cut. I’ve been to other Ulta salons before and was always impressed but we moved so this one was closest to my house so I decided to try them out. Worst experience ever! My hair was so un-even and was way shorter than i wanted because she kept trying to fix it. Then I had to have the manager try and fix it and she was completely unprofessional and rude! Will never go back and I will be telling everyone I know about their horrible service and stylist!

I only saw one employee, she was at the register. I had questions in different areas and there was no one to help. Strange! So I left with out purchasing anything.

I went in and nobody offered to help me even though I was lost looking for certain brands. I went in there without make up on because I want to try some on and maybe thats why nobody helped me. I tried on some eye shadows and then got pink eye couple days later. I wont be coming back in.

Went in to purchase a light coverage foundation. So a lady in a gray smock comes up to me and ask if I needed help so I told her im looking for a light coverage foundation she gives me a look like I didnt kno what im talking about and tells me is it for you. Uhhh im like yes it is then she turns toward some other ladies that have been helped and starts a conversation with them about some products they were purchasing and totaly ignores helping me when she asked if i needed help to start with. She was very rude and I will not return back to this location to purchase my highend and drugstore makeup. I use to shop here all the time but totally not worth being treated with disrespect. Customer service is horrible.

Wen in today to exchange a gift I received for Christmas. Was told there is nothing they could do for me without the receipt, because there was no proof of purchase (even though there is an Ulta Beauty proof of purchase sticker on the side). Very disappointed at the lack of customer service and rude staff. Will not be shopping at Ulta anymore. Very disappointed.

First I would late to say my 3 star rating is not based off the products they carry but soley on their customer service. I frequent this Ulta probably 1-3 times a month and let me tell you, I have NEVER been greeted or ASKED if I needed assistance, which most of the time is fine since I know where everything is and Im usually there to just stock up. Today I was there seeking a gift for a friend and I literally had to HUNT DOWN an associate and when I finally got one she was trying to dodge me. Call it paranoia but while I was checking out what they had up front I felt very glared at and judged by the two women working the cashier. I will continue to frequent this Ulta due to its close proximity to my house but some (most) of these ladies need a lesson in customer service! A customer should never leave feeling unwanted or judged.Also as a side note, if you are wishing to shop the Benefit brand they only carry tiny travel/sample sizes and only of certain products not the whole line.
