Just moved from the Houston area to Dallas so I’m still trying to find places I will patronize most frequently. Since I already own my Kia I only went in for service. Prices are better, service was good, and they had a great selection of coffee and teas I could really appreciate since I didn’t have time to stop at Starbucks before my appointment. The wait was long being that I did set an appointment which I was confused about however I took the time to make calls and handle of business. Over all it was a good experience. They even washed my truck :).

I purchased my vehicle about 5 days ago. The process was smooth, but straight to the point. No special perks. I did receive some advice on how to lower my financing from Justin. Overall, it was a true personal choice to pick KIA. I did get the model I selected. Nevertheless, I hope my family receives appropriate referral recognition. KIA has improved greatly from past years to provide luxury & sporty sedans.

Crooked dealership. I had a pre approval from capital one they said capital one “didn’t approve the loan” went to another dealership capital one approved and left with a vehicle that day. Pretty sure they only tried with their own financing since that’s the only thing that’s showing on the credit report. Will never return to this dealership. Stephanie was nice though

It was my Husbands car that was repaired in which he is grateful but not happy at all. The recall was on the engine in which they put a lesser performance engine in its place that was just the biggest problem that he talk about. I which there are more also with Kia Finance but he didnt want to do the review. He loves his service people but it out of there hands on what they can do that is right for the customers. Had regular maintenance performed (oil change, 26 pt inspection) and completed within 1 hour and a half which is good based on the number of people that were there. This time I did get a car wash and vacuum!The only thing I wished was that the employees wear masks for covid protocols. I noticed the majority of the employees did not wear a mask. I understand it is difficult to wear masks all day but I believe good business practice would be to at least wear the mask when approaching customers as I noticed several senior citizens there so lets do all we can to protect each other otherwise this would have been a five-star. Thanks

I bought my last 3 cars from Southwest Kia Mesquite and have always had all servicing completed here as well. This past week my car would not start. It needed a jumpstart after turning off...Everytime! I took it to the closest corner oil change, inspection, mechanical shop to see if it just might be the battery. Easy fix I thought. Nope! I was told that I needed a new battery and alternator and it would be $1,000. I declined the service and drove straight to Heather Stallings at SWK. Without an appointment, she let me drop my car off so it could be looked when it fit into their busy schedule. This was a Saturday at 10am. Within 4.5 hours my car was fixed and only a battery was need. No alternator issues were found. This is the service I get every time I take my car to Heather. The mechanics are knowledgeable and timely.The service is customer service focused. I will keep coming back to SWK with a service center like this and HEATHER. SHE IS A KEEPER.Thank you for always keeping my families safety in mind with each service completed.
The service was Great. Craig Greene was my service Advisor&although i was given a time setting of 2hrs. For my transmission flush it was way under that time&at pick up Craig brought to my attention other work that was needed& all service Advisor is not that honest with you . Had a set appointment time.Arrived on time and had to wait a little while.Was greeted by a friendly employee and was asked what I was there for. I explained what service my vehicle needed and I asked if there were any recommendations that my vehicle needed. He pointed out a few things and I appreciated that he did not push for me to have them done.My next visit I’ll have the suggested items addressed and taken care of.They washed my vehicle which they usually do and it took about 2 hours total.We’ve had sets of Kia vehicles since 2015. We will continue to purchase Kia’s because we’ve seen they are reliable and worth the price.Until my next service! See you again soon Kia!
It was easy to drive in/out of the facility. Had a clean and comfortable waiting area for me and my son while we waited for my tire to get fixed.
I found the car I wanted on their website and liked the numbers shown. Seemed too good to be true, so I talked to three people at their place and asked Are the prices shown, including trade-in, actually true? Will the numbers the the same if I come in for a test drive? They said yes. Their advertising says the same thing.After the test drive and while we were finalizing the paper work, the manager changed the trade-in from 16,000 to 14,000. I protested. He claimed that there was a surplus of Honda Civics and that he couldnt get much for it.By then I had a case of new car fever and went along with the deal. But the manager was lying. He promptly put it on the market for $20,000.I love the car and other aspects of the dealership. But I regret that the manager was untruthful and feel ripped off.
SERVICE REP LIED TO US!!! My adult son took my Kia in for service and when he got there he had to call to ask why the car was scheduled. They did not know it was for an oil change.A while later son called and said they are recommending a coolant flush of both the battery and engine. While I was on the phone I had him ask when the last coolant flush was done. The advisor, Nick, said it looked as though it was never done so I said okay, do it.BUT, since I was at home with my files I decided to double-check because it did not sound right. Sure enough, a coolant flush was done AT THIS VERY LOCATION in January. He didnt even bother to look at the file when asked. If I hadnt been home to check, I would have been out the $159 for a coolant flush I did not need. I cancelled the service and called back requesting to speak to the manager, Jason. Of course he did not take my call. Now I cannot trust them at all and the whole situation has made me physically ill. I expected better from a Kia dealership. This is so shady.
As far as service, Heather Stallings, as always showed gold medal 🥇 service each and every time I’ve brought my car in. She’s right out there, either on time or early to greet me. Heather always makes sure if I’m staying, that the shuttle can take me home. And if it’s going to take some time for my car to be done, she makes sure to check on me, let’s me know where the water and snack machine is. Isa very good service technician 👩🔧.Thank you,C. Norfleet

This is the only location I have visited since 2012,had an amazing salesman that year. Have always used this location for my service needs, have had no issues. I do miss some of the technicians that are no longer there but service is still good.

I must say I absolutely love the service department here! I purchased a 2020 Kia Soul from a different dealership, and had severe issues not long after purchase. That dealership was unable to diagnose the problem, and for nearly a year it was a struggle. Finally went to Southwest and they got my vehicle sorted (turns out it needed a complete new motor) and back on the road with the best of service. I have continued to go back for maintenance and am always pleased with the experience. Everyone is professional and courteous, they get all the stars!

Ashley & Rhylan are both awesome! They make a fantastic team. I brought my Kia soul in for service. I was informed it would be at least 14 days before they could diagnose the problem. My car was unsafe to drive, so Ashley arranged for me a shuttle home. To my surprise, Rhylan was able to diagnose and repair my vehicle in one day. He suggested some additional work, which I had done also. Ashley again arranged for me a shuttle to be picked up and brought to the dealership. I was back on the road the next day after I dropped my car off. Unbelievable! My sons birthday is on Friday. Thanks to both Ashley and Rylan I can take him out to celebrate. 10 out of 10 for service and customer service!
They gave me excellent customer service on this unexpected visit. It was Saturday afternoon, and my car was overheating. Initially, the Service Advisor (NicholasConey) said that they couldn’t do a diagnosis, but he found someone there who could. I was very grateful and Nicholas kept me well-informed about the situation. Unfortunately, the cooling fan wasn’t in stock so I will have to go back tomorrow for its installation. Carter Macey really helped my wife and I through the whole buying experience. We bought a used vehicle. That always seems to be more involved than buying new. I love my new-to-me Honda Pilot. With any car-buying experience you should plan on a three to four hour block to allow for looking at their inventory, test drive, paperwork, etc. Also Nate was very helpful with the financial elements. I don’t like to get the after market coverage, but with a used car, it’s the only way to have a little extra protection when the warranty is no longer available. An important note: Southwest Kia does not have commissioned salesmen so they really do give you great service. I’d go back if I needed another car.

Southwest Kia Mesquite did an excellent job relative to the engine recall replacement. Nick, my Service Team Manager/POC explained that one out more factors might affect when we’d receive our Optima.He mentioned the nationwide chip shortage, engine availability, and the effects of Covid-19.The total time my vehicle was in their possession was 15 July through 17 September 2021.I was thoroughly satisfied with their service and attention to detail. In fact, on receiving our vehicle, it appeared they’d waxed it and Nick apologized for taking so long. The service team went above and beyond to deliver a very nice car to us.

They were running short staffed when we went there so the wait was pretty long. The salesman we talked to was very personable, but left without making a deal because of dealer ad-ons on the used car we were looking at. Was most concerned that they were adding a fair market charge to their new cars of up to $9,000.

Only went in to compare vehicles in person. Didnt think o would qualify for a car even though I had been working on my credit for over a year. Ended up in the car I actually wanted. Could have gotten a better deal on the same car same year. . . But I would have had to wother go to Austin to get it or have it delivered here for a fee. I think they did a pretty good job.
I went in here to trade my newer vehicle for a couple year older GMC Yukon. Overall the price they gave me for my truck was less than at another dealership but considering what I was looking into and factoring the cost and everything I decided to go here because other price they had for the Yukon. Overall Cynthia was my sales rep and she was pretty pleasant personally I wish she would interact more or talk more but that wasnt going to be a factor in me buying a vehicle or not. The only reason I gave it a three star however is once we got to the finance while me and her were talking she stated I could get a 2.99 based on my credit and her manager confirmed the same but once I got to finance it went up to 4.2% and the term got cut down from 72 months to 66 months which almost killed the deal for me but in the end I wanted the vehicle because it was a dream vehicle for me and considering the fact that I could still make the payments I went ahead and took it but that is the main reason why I dropped it to a three-star other than that I would have given it a five-star. Overall the experience was pleasant unfortunately I was the first customer dealing with their new system upgrades so I had to spend more time than usual but it didnt bother me Im already familiar with what happens when a transition or merger happens I was just happy to get the deal done at the end.

Kind, caring, listening and present throughout the experience (and in the days after.) I came late in the afternoon to buy my car, but she still stayed until the end (after closing) to congratulate me on my purchase and even offered for me to come back in to give me a run-through of the car! Thank you! Even the finance guy, Nate, was a delight, leading me through the contracts and documents with a sense of humor and kind words.The A/C filter needed changing so I just came back the next day and they switched it out in about fifteen minutes, no questions asked. I was excited at first that I finally found a car I really liked after months of searching, it was used, but that was okay! However, they dont tell you that the 2 dealer options arent really options! The pricing was too fishy and made no sense; taking out those so-called options should lower the price, not increase it just to make sure they get the full sticker price either way! Needless to say, I wasnt going to do business with this shady bunch and I dont recommend anyone else do business with them either.

When they took my vehicle in they got to it right away. after trying to find a leak for about 80 mins. they came out and told me that they could not find the leak and recommended that I make an appointment to bring it in which I did. Knowing I use my vehicle in my work and my income was jeopardized I think he prioritized fixing my vehicle so I could get it asap. They discovered that it was not due to a warranty failure as I had thought but that it was due to an earlier accident occurrence putting a small crack in the radiator that had gone unnoticed by the repair shop.At this point the service manager made an extraordinary effort to deal with the insurance co (Progressive) to get the bill taken care of. Which was amazing. If not for his help I wouldve lost a lot more income than I did I am most appreciative!
Purchased a brand new 2021 Kia Rio S right off the lot with 18 miles, from me test driving, crazy fast. I was always informed that purchasing a new car would take hours upon hours, however it was extremely quick, and Kelvin P., the guy who made it all happen was absolutely amazing at getting me and my new car in and out. So I want to say 1st that I like Kia as a car. Theyre a good deal for the price and not too mechanically complicated. Im trying to help my disabled and retired mother who cant seem to get anywhere with this dealership. Car was bought new from same dealer group but in Austin. Has been a good car. Then my mother hit some road debris that damaged the undercarriage. It happens in Dallas sometimes. So then we take it to be repaired. After 3x in this Mesquite service center, with countless delays, no help with rides, and over $1500 in bills later, this is what it looks like. The service manager Jason Croy, wont return my emails. The online chat never had a rep call as it stated. Jason Croy also never returned my mothers voicemail. Thats 4x in 3 different ways weve tried to contact this... guy. When I call the dealership to get in touch with his supervisor, Im told nobodys above him. Apparently hes owner too? Totally feel as if were being stonewalled. Not sure if we need a lawyer or if someone responsible there will see this and take the reigns. I have my own stuff to deal with and wish I didnt have to work so hard to get this done properly. All photos taken after last repaired.*UPDATE 8-7-20*Three days ago after I first wrote this review, I popped in to see service manager Jason Croy unannounced. He seemed like he was ready to solve the issues Ive posted about. Apparently a manager over him DOES exist and I thought everything was finally going smoother. The car was towed by them back to dealership shortly after we spoke. That was Tuesday afternoon. I Left Jason Croy another voicemail yesterday (Thursday) afternoon inquiring about the car. I dont believe I should be in the position to have to track people down ever, but especially under these sort of circumstances. However, I will do whatever I have to do for this to be right for my mother. So I guess get ready to see me pop up again, Mr. Croy. See you soon!*UPDATE 8-8-20*Car was dropped back off at our house after my pop-in. I wont bore you with the details, but Ill ask if any of you would be happy with $1500 bill for some brand-new swiss-cheesed panels held up with zip ties? O but the zips are warrantied? What a joke. Plus SOMEONE ELSES Sedona key for the cherry on top! I have a vacation to prep for thats been scheduled since December. I will update when Im back but heres some more pictures for now showing someone elses fob and awesome zip tie art. I will release the key to GM or whoevers above Mr. Jason Croy if/when contacted.
