It was ok. It appeared that there were only 2 people there at the time. The young lady at the register did her best to help me to the point of having to leave another customer waiting to try to track down what I was looking for. Sadly to no avail. It was not the employees fault at all. She did her best.

This store was huge with lots of different colored yarn, but I found a color purchased all of the skeins. The color is awesome.

I give Joanne 4 stars because they slack on a lot of stuff I dont know if they sell out of a lot of stuff or they just have low inventory nowadays but seem like its just the same more boring stuff youre at the year they have a few little prize gifts in there but not enough to keep you coming back come on Joanne lets catch up and do better I like to see more cookware the selection is dwindled down I like to see more home decor it seems to be doing down lots of do it yourself projects but

The workers are not friendly at all or helpful I think this store is very Prejudice to womans of color. I visited this store several times the attitude of the workers have never changed.

The girl at the counter is not friendly. Actually Ive only met 1 person there that wasnt disappointed that I was there shopping and interrupting there day or should I say that could be anyone not just me. They just arent friendly. Plus there store doesnt have half of the stuff the one in Dallas has.

Its always busy or they have a shortage of help not sure.

Great place to go when looking for fabric

Be sure to make sure they give you the correct high price item at the register! I bought a cricut blade here and they gave me the wrong blade, didn’t realize it until I got home. Due to time constraints I wasn’t able to return to the store until 2 days later when they refused to honor the original price I paid for the blade for an exchange, only giving 3 stars because a manger came up and honored the price, but what a hassle and waste of time for something that was their fault to begin with!

The Viking sewing machine department is horrible! Paula has promised me several times she would get back to me and never has.The customer service for the actual store is hit and miss. When I speak to people in the departments they are usually very helpful and knowledgeable but at the register they are often short when Im trying to make sure my coupon goes through. And one of the young men gave me cash instead of putting it back on my debit card without asking me. I dont carry cash so I had to make a additional trip to the bank.

Great but the line was long with only one checker and I wasnt willing to wait so long so I left.

Love shopping here, everyone is so pleasant and helpful! Ordered online but had to go inside to pick up more of what I had ordered, since I didnt get enough. The associate who helped me brought my online order to me while I was waiting in line, so my time in the store was brief and no longer than it would have been had I chose curbside pickup!Everyone was socially distancing, wearing masks and taking CDC guidelines seriously. They had many options of supplies when I arrived at this store. I saw numerous yards of fabric well stocked, but I was not there for sewing supplies. My sole reasoning for being there was simple, to get a liquid to satiate my desire to ease the severity of my dehydration. Thus it was so, that in this time I shall seek what I most longed for, a Dr pepper. After many seconds of searching I saw not one but a multitude of Dr pepper shimmering in the artificial lighting that the store cast through its fluorescent light bulbs. But like the mirage of a beautiful Oasis situated in a barren desert when I arrived at the kiosk I realized that my view was mistaken.... What sat behind the glass walls of the cooler was diet Dr pepper. I walked away a shattered version of my former self but they had the sewing supplies my family needed so it was all good.

My wife needed some sewing stuff for her machine and I went to get out of the house. She found her stuff and I found some comfortable masks. Everyone was happy.

I love Joanns! Although Im bad about over spending, but with their sales and coupons you can save a lot!

This is the place to go if you are crafty and in need of some awesome supplies. They have everything you need to do any craft you would like to do. 8 walked in looking for sticks to make Carmel apples and they had about 10 choices. The store was full of Halloween and Christmas supplies and tons of other craft gear. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I found what I was looking for and got out of there for less than 2 dollars

This Joanns at preston and forest surprised me cause it had lots of Christmas stuff yeah 70 - 75% off. Plus the other stuff i went in for.

Daisy and Jessica are the best employees whenever I walk in it’s almost always them that greet me no other employee at the register do that if they’re not there. Today I walked in and Daisy was at the cutting counter she helped me out with the fabric I was looking for leaving the cutting counter happy. Jessica was at the register and helped me with all my questions regarding the coupons I’m in my mid 70s and using a telephone is a struggle she explained how to use the app and guided me through everything. This Joann has amazing customer service, if ever in the area look out for Jessica and Daisy they will help you out!!!

Overall I love Joanns but just to let you know curb side pickup is only when they arent too busy to bring things to the car & they stop cutting fabric at 6 pm when they dont close til 7 pm. This is fine but customers should be made aware before they shop.

I placed an order for pick up of an item from another location and 8 hours later, as I was preparing to head towards the store, I got a notification that my order was canceled because it was not in stock, even though it said it was in stock at this location online. Not wanting to waste any more of my time, I called this location to ensure that they did, in fact, have my item in stock before heading there to make my purchase. The girl I spoke with asked how much I needed of it and once she confirmed she had enough, she asked if I would like her to put it behind the counter for me and took my name. I got to the store and stood in line for 15 minutes before getting to the register only to find out that they had not even cut my item yet. I had to wait another 20 minutes to get my item cut and then an additional 10 waiting in line again to check out. Organization and time management at this location is an absolute joke. The only positive is that the new girl at the checkout counter, who had only been there two days, was very nice and apologetic.

Joann Fabrics has a significant variety of fabric and sewing needs. We were able to pick up 3 yards of 2 complimentary fabric as well as batting. We made a custom Quillow for a family friend and her toddler absolutely loved the trains ands warm flannel. Joann fabrics is one of the few remaining to find fabric from burlap to silk to furniture fabrics.

I went because of the discount for that day. It was my 1st time. I just didnt see much of a selection in things that I am intrested in. I find more of selection at other places I go to.Then I asked a lady by the sewing machines about classes. She was very rude. It wasnt my fault if that elder chubby gray hair lady had a bad day. She didnt have to take it out on me. The young girl @ the register was nice. I wont be going to this location again.

Friendly staff. I had no idea how much fabric I needed or the supplies. I just knew I had to make my 4year old a blanket. The associates were more than happy to assist me and tell me the best products to get. I liked it because they took the time to speak with me and address my needs and budget...

Called ahead to make sure they had something in stock, they even offered to hold one up front for me.

Online says products are in stock but whn u get to the store, theyre not. For someone driving from DeSoto to Mesquite, its an inconvenience.

Good store for fabrics and seasonal items. Just the run of the mill craft store. Staff is friendly and can be helpful if you can find them. Items are stocked in low quantities to keep overhead down but if you come too late or after a sale then youre SOL.

The employees are very helpful and kind! If you have time I suggest walking the store and see what all they have.

Part right near the front door. Enjoyed looking at all the arts and crafts and crochet threads. I chose some items I wanted to buy and took them up to the register to pay for them. And was back in my car and on the way home very quickly. I love to just look even if I dont need to buy anything.
