I was greeted by one young lady at the perfume counter, this young lady helped me in finding the perfect scent in perfume and even gave great directions to other items I was looking for! I had passed several other associates which none even acknowledged me. I am very grateful for the time and effort the lady at the perfume counter gave me. Keep smiling young lady and just know..I appreciate you!

My most recent visit was so pleasant, I had an appointment to get my hair by one of the stylist in the salon. By the way my stylist is fabulous I travel far just to get my hair done by her. She is the only one I trust to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. On my way into the salon I stopped to look at a pair of booties. They didnt have my size in the stack. So I asked the lady working in customer service if they had any more in the store. Not only did she look on the register system to see if the store had some in stock, but she went to locate the pair for me. I didnt ask her to go get them but she went the extra step to find them and hold them until my hair was finished. I bought the booties which I love. Great customer service!

Customer service was good. Cashier Barbara was very helpful. Floor associates were cluless. Selection wasnt very good

They had a great big selection of a particular coat I was looking for, and I walked the whole mall, both floors, but JCPenney was IT!!! The lady at the checkout counter was friendly and delightful and rang me up without problem.

Oh my goodness JCPenneys has changed I remember the day that you could go in there and find pretty much anything you needed but now the supplies are limited not many clothes to find to see if I used to love going because they had so many dresses to choose from now its just limited but I give the stores two stars because it was clean and it was spaced out that you could see throughout the store you guys need to get in there and support support so we can get them back

Slowest cashiers, they kept leaving the checkout area like they were afraid to work. The prices were good but when it takes 30 minutes to check out, its ridiculous! My sister worked for Penneys and its was never like this. I will NEVER visit this store again.

Clean and organized.Checkout cashier was great! However, not able to find help when needed in home essentials. One employee collecting hangers actually kept walking when i asked for help.

I need to come to JCP more often. I forgot how much nice, quality prices items they carry. They even carry hair care for people of color and I LOVE that! They have good products at great prices! They have friendly staff as well. I don’t like this mall but I will come back to shop here. They have everything including a Sephora!

Store has a very good selection of children clothing. They also have half size for the lil bit bigger lil girls. The only problem is its only one dressing room open on each floor!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Waiting in the car for 15 minutes was worth the wait. Opening at 11 am was something I was not aware of.

My husband was looking for a suit. He found one he liked and wanted to try it on. He was told that there was no dressing room open on the bottom floor where the mens clothing was located, and that he would have to go up to the womens dressing room on the top floor. The associate even called it the womens dressing room. Did anyone inform the women there that men might be coming into their dressing room? They looked pretty uncomfortable when he walked in. It seems totally unreasonable to me to have only one dressing room open in a large two-level store. I know that JCP has to watch expenses, but this is going too far.

Found what I needed here today. I had an online order waiting for pickup, birthday presents and found a gorgeous sweater for next fall. Clearance is going on. Only thing I did not appreciate was the fitting rooms are closed, 1 available for the whole 2nd floor and not handicapped sized accessable. I do love Town East J C Penneys.

Dont Go There

The Town East store has a good shopping atmosphere. The Associates are pleasant, courteous, helpful and customer service oriented. The clothing, shoe and accessories Departments have a good selection especially in the mens department. Shop the sales and use your coupons for additional savings on good quality items. We especially like the St Johns Brand for fit, quality and price.

Curbside pick up was fast and easy but then we decided to get out and go in the store anyway. Found some great deals on jackets for my teens. Plexiglass at the checkout stations.

Friendly employees, but very few open registers so it will take you forever after youve spent forever picking out everything you want. Great selection of stuff though. In every category. Far better deals than Dillards, Macys, etc.

I find everything that I am looking for at JCP. My only concern is that there are not enough cashiers and fitting rooms available.

Need more open registers, too crowded to check out. Spread out!

Curbside pickup was fast

On 8.30.2020 Some of the associates need to work on customer service. Hardly any registers open, fitting rooms closed and have been practically kicked out of them, and when asked where certain things could be found they do not seem to want to help. Only giving 3 stars because there was one associate at the end when we did get to the register that was helpful with our purchase and we were able to find what we needed on our own. I also like the prices.

We had the best salesperson in the jewelry department. Miss Carla was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted

I went to the Salon to get a haircut and then went shopping. The store was clean and the aisles were clear. Unfortunately I didnt find anything I really needed that day.

To be honest, since their bankruptcy reconstruction the store has become rather depressing. Gone are the numerous sale items. The existing sale items are higher in price than what they use to be, along with less items to choose from. I shopped at JCPENNEYS for many years, well over 25 years now. I have a feeling I wont be shopping there anymore.

Place deserves to go out of business, they refused to exchange my daughters Christmas gift for the correct size.Thats all we wanted was to exchange gift for different size

Fast service on a return today

Everyone kept there distance so I felt safe and was able to do my shopping with no worries.

Boy did l find some bargains today! I bought a peasant styled denim shirt that was originally $45, on sale for $6 and l couldnt pass that deal. The young lady that assisted me was very helpful, knowledgeable of the J C Penney merchandise and friendly. It was a most enjoyable shopping experience.

No one disinfected between customers there.

I really like this JC Penneys but it has seemed a little bare this year on Christmas decorations and such. I found a Christmas shirt in Clearance for my dog that was on a torn piece of cardboard & the price was more for it than the new & undamaged ones from this year. It had to be last years bc there were no others to be found in the hole store. Also a repeating problem is no price tags or barcodes on items that are placed in Clearance by employees and then once its taken to the register the clerk cant find it in the system and wont sell it. That is very frustrating and wrong! I found a shirt I really wanted and was told it couldnt be sold, when I returned a week later I found the same shirt once again in Clearance and was told that it couldnt be sold after waiting in line again!

Went to optical. Before you buy make sure you ask questions.. specials may be miss leading.

My son favorite shopping store. Most stores dont carry a good variety in his Big and Tall men sizes.

The inventory and staffing level is certainly suffering from the financial issues, but what they had was priced appropriately.

I walked into the saloon and asked for a cut and highlights. I explained that I wanted the dead ends cut off so about 3 inches. Needless to say this is NOT what I asked for. Luckily she cut my hair before she did the highlights so I was able to walk away before she really screwed me over. The saloon offered my next appointment for free and was very apologetic.. However it doesnt change the fact that you cut 8 off my hair and theres nothing anybody can do about it.. Very sad and I will NOT return.

Had a great time prom dress shopping with my my daughter and our neighbor and her daughter. They had their hair done and a make over for free to give them an idea of what they would like with the dress on. The ladies pampered the the girls and helped with the dresses. They were on cloud nine. We all enjoyed it and plan on coming back next year. Just a huge thank u to everyone that was there and made it enjoyable for the girls. Thank u again so much.

I like the store and friendly service. Their selection in dresses and maternity is very limited and not to my liking. I love the variety in their home department and infant and toddler clothing. Prices are reasonable and they usually have good sales. Also, they offer easy returns and exchanges.
