Straight forward business if they have it they have it, then if not then not. They have been nice through my experience.

I was in there a couple weeks ago, and they were extremely helpful and patient with me. I am new to reloading and they took the time to educate me and help me make decisions on supplies. In addition, they most everything I needed, except primers, but no one hasprimers right now. I will definitely be back even though it took an hour to get there.

I have been looking for some ammo for a new gun just purchased could not find any was looking for 38 special or 357 mag was helped by a man there not sure if he was owner or not I was told I can shoot 38 out of 357 mag and he reassured me I could he seemed very knowledgeable feraly new at this will be recommending this place

I called @2:20pm to inquire about ammunition for a 9mm. Was told they had item in stock. Per the website they close @ 3pm. I said to the person who answered you close at 3pm today? He responded I will probably be here until 5pm. I arrived at 2:49 along with another gentleman. He said the guy had just turned off the open sign. I said maybe he ran to the restroom. So we both waited. Sure enough the guy comes, opens the door and said he was closed. I mentioned I had just called and he said he would probably be here until 5pm. By this time the other gentleman had walked off and said forget it. The man who came to the door was so rude! Its ok. Im glad he showed his true colors. I would rather patronize a business who provides better service.

The owner (I assume) was very helpful. He took time to talk to me and educate me about my gun. Finally found ammo most everyone else is out of! Thank you, I will be a repeat customer.

Great bunch of guys. When at all possible, theyve got a great selection....with somewhat decent prices. There are soo few places in DFW to get reloading components, Im glad these guys are in business!

Great place to grab a pound or two of powder or primers. The prices are on par with other places in the area, but special orders can be hit or miss. Also as for customer service they can be very helpful, but have a large group of regular customers. That have been going there for decades, and tend to chat up the help a lot.

Brand new to reloading and happened to be in the area and just stopped in. I could not have been more impressed. Harry and a local customer snagged me and offered so much help. These men connected the dots on lots of things that had stumped me in my research. Of interest to other customers, I compared their pricing on a powder scale I bought... Amazon about 8 dollars cheaper...Cabelas was about 20.00 more. Ill continue to buy my future stuff here...a few extra dollars is nothing compared to the info these men provided.

Amazing selection, the guy behind the counter (not Harry) was very kind. Their prices arent as great as SGammo, but I dont feel bad about spending an extra 4cpr to help these guys out. Ill definitely be a regular.

Customer service is horrible.... they hanged up on me just because I called to ask a simple yes or no question..... they just said to many people has been asking that question and hanged up.... clearly not giving a days A** about there customers....

The care placed on the customer at this location is well above average. Genuinely caring when it comes to safety and success. Worth the drive if you live an hour away. Prices are on par with MSRP and powder is the lowest price I have found. The staff was very patient and very friendly, worth the trip just for the experience. A+

Have been doing research on reloading and wanted to start. Read some reviews on this place and from those reviews it seems like a good place to start. What a mistake. When I told him I was new to reloading and if it was a good time to get advice or ask questions he said no. That didnt bother me because he was busy. What bothered me was when he said even if he answered any questions that I wouldnt be able to understand the answers. So he suggested I read a book. I had already planned to do that so I asked if he could recommend one and he did. I had just looked at that book and pointed to it and asked if that was the one. He at first said no, but then said yes. He said after I read it I would need to read several other books and then said next and acted like he didnt want to sell the book. So we left. What a welcome. Very disappointed

I have Been Reloading For Thirty Years. I am Very Good At It. I have reloaded for law enforcement. These Guys Have Even Helped Me. That Means You Are Never To Good to Learn From Someone Else. My Only Complaint Has Nothing To Do With Them Really. You See When You Start Getting Older Your Mind Goes. And I Can Never Seem To Remember What Day They are closed.

I went in there last week for my first time. I was looking for Winchester AA Lite powder and he did have some in stock (which surprised me since Hodgdon is discontinuing it). I found them to be extremely helpful and friendly, I will be back for more reloading supplies.

Best store near Dallas for reloading that Ive seen when it comes to price and selection. I used to buy my components in bulk online, but not anymore.

Great staff, very knowledgeable, carry’s just about everything from primers up to entire reloading packages! Big on RCBS but still has other manufacturers. Can get about everything. Better than mail order or internet pricing and no hazmat or shipping costs. No waiting for shipped items. Very well stocked.

The best reloading store in DFW. Theres other stores that sell reloading supplies but their focus is not just reloading. This store, however, is all about reloading supplies and, as such, they have a ton of items for sale and in stock and are very competitively priced even to internet stores.

Ive been shopping here for a few years now. Now that I have gotten to visit quite a few different shops and stores that support reloading, its probably the best one ive been to. The guy thats always there is a wealth of knowledge and hasnt steered me wrong yet. I live 140 miles from them now but most of my reloading purchases are still made at SouthWest.

I have been shopping at SAS on an off for a couple of years now. They are located a bit far from my home but it is usually worth the trip there. They are fairly well stocked with reloading components and ammunition at reasonable market prices. The owner is extremely helpful and will readily provide very sound advice if asked. I usually call ahead to see if they have what I want in stock and the owner has never hesitated to check for me. There is plenty of parking right across the street from the shop. They were one of the few places that had some primers and powder the last couple of years when the big brand stores were out due to shortages. What impressed me more is SAS did not price gouge although they could have easily done it.

Best ammo store in Dallas. There may be certain things some people dont like, but there is no better place to get what you need for most reloading...including great advice and troubleshooting assistance.

Horrible experience. I ordered ammunition on 4/22/13 (77gr SMK, and 70gr TSX, remanufactured) and was told the ammo was in stock, and would ship in 5-7 days. After a month with no more replies, and two weeks after my card was charged, I decided to send an e-mail. This was ignored, so I sent another. This was also ignored. I called and after 2 hours, managed to actually reach someone. I was given some lame excuse about plastic box inserts being the reason my order wasnt shipped, and was also informed they had apparently oversold the 70gr TSX, as they would not be able to complete this part of the order. I was then told that my order would be shipping out Tuesday (4/28/13) and I would be e-mailed with tracking info. This never happened. I am currently (6/3/13) on hour number of attempting to phone them for my refund.

The staff was exceptionally helpful to this novice reloader. Prices were great. From now on, this is the only place in the DFW metroplex I will shop for reloading supplies.
