Excellent retrospective of painter Phyllis Bramson. Other artists thoughtfully curated as well.
Beautiful gallery, well put together and laid out. When I visited they were between exhibits and it was still a wonderful experience. The individual at the desk was incredibly helpful and informative.
A visual appeal, worth spending 30 mins to an hour
The work exhibited here is fantastic, and the people are the same!
Love this place and its curated wonderfully.
Friendly staff, spacious, well displayed and a variety of artists. They have unique gift items, art, pottery, handmade jewelry and clothing items. Definitely worth the time spent. Easy to find too!
We just happened upon this place. Stopped in to get information and found it was our lucky day. Its not only free but also has extended hours on Thursdays (the day we went). Its small but worth a visit.
Their artistic presentations are leading edge yet contemporary. They strive to bring in high quality artists. Ive attended many fine exhibits at Lubeznik, and have heard many fine presentations there, as well. The place is a cut above. Havent attended any classes there but understand that they are high quality. A great place to visit for art appreciation when in Michigan City.
Nice gallery exhibits and friendly staff, very engaged with the community. Their holiday artisan market is wonderful! A great place to shop and support local artists.
Very nice place to go. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you are looking for something to do go here!
Great classes, exhibits and a wonderful gift shop which sells many items including the Voices Literary Journal.
If you love art you will love this place. Employees knew the history of the artists. Were willing to talk about the pieces.
This place was cool. They had a lot of cool Warhol stuff. I kind of lucked into seeing the curator lecturing to the staff about a lot of his art, which was fascinating. Definitely worth a visit! But mind that you are not to photograph the art inside unless they give you permission first.
Great show featuring the impressive array of artists living in the region. Really fulfilling their important mission.
Awesome exhibit! Awesome staff!
The delightful team of experts make for an extreme art setting done right. The diversity of opportunity will find you taking a workshop, being entertained by live music or Poetry slam, and walking through the newest exhibition entranced by each well chosen piece. Bravo, Lubeznik.
Very nice art center that had an Andy Warhol exhibit when we visited. Nice building and no admission so please make a small donation. Well worth a visit.
I love this building and the people that work there. They display amazing local artists and always focus on relevant topics with their exhibits.
We loved the Lubznik Center for our wedding! They were professional and easy to work with. The venue is beautiful and unique. We were lucky to have a Warhol exhibition on display during our wedding which was a dream come true! Guests loved looking at the art while mingling, and enjoyed having the option of dancing and eating in the main gallery, visiting the upstairs gallery (where we had a polaroid set up so guests could take photos), and sitting outside in the beautiful patio area. Being so close to the lake in Michigan City meant guests were able to enjoy a weekend at the beach as well. I would recommend this to any bride looking for a gorgeous, unique venue at a very reasonable price.
My mother and several other women in the community in the 1960s started a Center for the Arts first it was in the woods then it was in one of the old libraries in Michigan City and now it was taken over by lubeznik who funded it its a beautiful space right by the lake run by great people and wonderful artists from all over my mother would be proud
Very appealing if youre looking for a nice casual evening with a slower change of pace. Great for any age but especially for those into art!
The LCA definitely punches above its weight; saw a terrific exhibit on the Chicago Imagists here.
Disappointed. Expected more displays. Not the Art Institute of Chicago.
Awesome place that many dont know about! Checked out the Warhol exhibit over the weekend. Loved it!
Always enjoy new exhibits. Had a fun time at the Zine fest.
This was just an average experience for me. I dont thing I will ever be inspired to return. I came for the art fair and that didnt turn me on but the jazz musicians played pretty well, that palliated the experience. Never say never.
Loved our experience here; friendly staff and beautiful, thought-provoking work on display. Definitely worth a visit for an hour or two. Enjoy!
Stunning and Absolutely Beautiful. Michael and Tim are the best. They have been hosting an event for us this week and nothing is left undone. If you ever host an event, check out the Lubeznik Center, it will not disappoint. Lynn and Diane, Encoré Event Planning.
There are some very nice and displayed artwork. Will frequent again.
We are so lucky to have a high - class art museum in our little town. They are so community oriented too.
Saw an awesome Andy Warhol gallery with the kids. Awe inspiring, quiet, and right by the waters of Lake Michigan.
One of my favorite places to visit. The staff is knowledgeable about the artists and the work they provide to Lubeznik.
Wonderful small Art Center. Fantastic original art Andy Warhol art exhibit. A must see!
Small but curated so well. I highly recommend stopping in.
Friday night was terrific. All the different bird artwork was great and the duo was a great listen.
It presents fantastic exhibits and is free seven days a week.
Nice gift shop. Inspired art. Nice welcoming facility.
Beautiful art center. Saw a great Andy Warhol exhibit
Beautiful Space with great art. We attended the poetry slam on First Friday and loved it.
Friendly, helpful staff. Interesting exhibits. Gift shop with engaging wares.
Nice little gallery. We usually try to stop in a few times a year when were in the area enjoying the beach.
A small but quality art venue. Serves wine on the first Friday if each month. Nothing like touring an art show with a glass of wine in hand!
Its free and open to the public. It is really peaceful, has great art, and informed staff.
A compact museum expertly displaying coordinated shows, nice shop.
Great gallery, very helpful staff, and an excellent gift shop featuring local artists.
The Warhol exhibit was such a treat. What a great addition to the city.
Went for the Lubeznik art fair. Leave alot to be desired for the center and art fair.
Great place. Different exhibits throughout the year.
Had our wedding here a few weeks ago, the space and the staff were fantastic! Highly recommend to brides looking for a bright, sophisticated space.
Great little art museum with wonderful staff!
Our family always enjoys the art festival!
Wonderful for a date or a day with the family.
