Nice selection of shops. Micheal Kors had a great selection. I also enjoyed Ralph Lauren and Columbia. I bought presents to bring back home. Very convenient location if you are traveling to Chicago. Overall I had a good experience but there are better outlets in Chicago.

Great outlet malls with extremely fair prices. Great place to find a good deal! This is honestly one of the only places I will buy clothes and accessories. Love the Banana Republic store and Old Navy. You can find a nice selection of clothes and the best deals. Great outdoor mall to walk during the summer or on nicer days. Great restaurants nearby! Would recommend the trip for anyone within an hour or two from the location.

Not the best outlets I’ve been to, but they have a decent selection of stores available. The buildings themselves however look quite worn down and dated. Definitely not on par with other Simon Premium Outlets I’ve been to.

Not the best outlet Ive been to, bit its decent. Good brand selection, and nice layout - easy to spend some time walking around. Not a lot of great walkable food options, but there is at least a Starbucks. And a beef jerky store. Those bring us from 3 stars to 4. Stop by if youre in town, or if you live in the area. Probably not worth planning a trip around, bit again. Decent.

This is really a cute set up of a bunch of stores lined up in a nice little walking pattern outdoors! Cute little snack huts are in the middle filling the air with sweet smells of fresh waffle cones being made an cinnamon from the churros! Super clean walking paths that are covered so even if its raining you can stay dry! Lots of designer and name brand stores with great sales an deals! Definitely really good for family day out or just a little exercise or perfect for a first date or date night!

One of my favorite outlet malls, much better appointed than the Fashion Outlet Mall in Chicago. This outlet feels roomy, spacious, with plenty of parking, wide, comfortable outdoors space and a good selection of stores. The stores are clean, inviting and spacious ( for the most part), and the staff is polite and helpful.I warmly recommend this mall.

This review is SPECIFICALLY about the structure/grounds/exterior areas of this outlet mall. Some serious attention needs to be given to this place. There are some really great shops in this outlet mall and they deserve to be well-represented on the outside too. The outside is starting to look run-down and deteriorating. It could really use a freshening up and some overall general maintenance. From the outside it seems like nobody cares for the place.

Love the shops here. Get your steps in or drive around and park closer to your store. Near the beach, restaurants and casino. Skate park nearby. Small ride on toys for little kids throughout. Nice selection of stores! Vending machines are also available.

I cant believe I found exactly what I was looking for! I am a very small size and T North Face had a great selection of small jackets in stock, excellent prices too. Im also amazed how friendly and helpful the staff were in assisting me with my specific jacket needs.

There is a big outlet near my home and I will purposly drive the extra hour to come here. The prices are truly outlet prices and most stores offer you a discount for your email. I always have a good time here!

So Ive been walking this mall since it opened. We live 30 min or so away, but we are really noticing the deterioration. Management definitely isnt keeping up with repair and cleanliness. Landscaping was in desperate need for grooming. Bathrooms are in need of cleaning and updates. Ambience is lacking. I would hate to see this mall go down hill. Hopefully they start renovations and upkeep.

The hotel is well on the way down and out...I was very disappointed. The casino smells like a tobacco shop. During this period in time clean air is a requirement for me

I dont shop here much since the reebok store closed. But, the churros were delicious and we found what we came for so all in all, it was a successful visit.

I love this place because everything that you want to look for and really great for kids its a beautiful place if you just want to get out and take a stroller so many stores to visit with great prices

This is your traditional outlet mall, with the traditional brands that inhabit outlet malls (Nike, Coach, etc.). During our visit there were pandemic restrictions so we ended up not visiting many stores. We really liked the Lindt store, though, with the lady managing the flow of customers doing an excellent job. There are some options of food vendors but nothing particularly exciting. Definitely an interesting place to visit in Michigan City if you are into shopping.

Some stores have true outlet pricing while others (like Crocs) do not. Shop wisely an cross-reference items w Amazon

I loved this place! Might need some renovations but still great and has plenty of stores to see! Some famous stores, and some unique, like the sleeping tiger, and some coffee and chocolate stores, and candy stores. Youll get plenty of exercise! You might need 2-3 hours to see it all. But thats only if you go to all of the stores

Many stores were closed/empty. Most people were not wearing a mask or distancing. On the plus side, some stores like American Eagle and Nike were limiting the number of customers in the store. They had lines to get in.

Great place if you like shopping. I would avoid on weekends. They will limit there number of people allowed in the stores and you will have to wait to get in.

Nothing special, priced high for an outlet and STAY AWAY from the pretzel place as they have NO RESPECT for veterans. Anyone ever heard of a 5 percent discount? A little FYI for everyone and my brother and sister veterans, that equals 20 cents off a pretzel after tax. Yes 20 Cents is the value of your service to this nation. I pray Lighthouse will not renew their rental location in the future. Shameful DISRESPECT.

Vending machines do not work, most stores have left and are empty. The ones that are there had no lights on and were closed. The book store was great. Got really terrible coffee from a chocolate place. I wont be going back to the mall. Just the book store. Oh and the stores they do have are very $$$$. Like shopping mall $$$$. You can get clothes at Meijer or Walmart for 1/4 of the price.

This place is actually sad now. It has more empty store fronts then stores. There was maybe 10 people total there the day my daughter and I went. It has to cost more to keep open then they make.

Great place for shopping. Unique outlets from clothing, shoes, to specialty candies and other gourmet foods. Store after store, sidewalks and directory guide you through your shopping experience. Would return for another day strolling through eating and shopping.

Very run down mall and very expensive prices! They are not better then regular stores! Update your website! Nike store opens at 12 so I had to wait outside about 20 minutes! Very bad Nike management, they dont care about customers and they lied about the hours; they say online it says they open from 12-5 (by the way like no other store in the whole mall- except some food stores) but online still says they open from 11-8! Unacceptable!! Because of different hours a big line formed outside and they had a huge crowd going inside the store at 12 :( What a bad management Nike!! Never going to this store again!

For being an outlet mall, items didnt seem to be outlet prices. Even the clearance items were mostly too high. Of the 10 stores we went to, only Old Navy and the bookstore were fairly priced.

If you will stay around Chicago and Michigan, the Lighthoise place Outlet is one of the best attractions for shopping. You can find more than you could expect, tons of clothes, shoes, special things ay relative affordable price. Easy to find and parking. Needs to walk a lot to visit all.

The stores are decent but the facility itself needs to be remodeled really bad. The sidewalks are in bad shape and the restrooms are repulsive. My daughter went to the womens restroom which had standing water across the entire floor and the mens restroom was absolutely filthy and smelled like a pit toilet. Simon Properties hasnt put a nickel into this place for years and it clearly shows.

This afternoon I was approached by a security officer at the Lighthouse Outlet Mall in Michigan City, Indiana. The observant officer politely inquired about my personal handgun I had on my person and requested to know if I was a police officer. I politely explained to him that I am a Corrections Officer and for which agency I was with as well as providing him with my personal documentation allowing me to carry my personal handgun while out off duty and out of uniform. The security officer insisted that I disarm myself. I requested to see where the no weapon policy was posted. He admitted to me that it was not posted anywhere but that he had a folded card called the “code of conduct” on his person. Although he was not rude to me, he failed to understand that just like police officers, Corrections Officers deal with the same people if not more so than policemen do. Once a police officer takes an individual into custody that individual doesn’t just disappear, they are in the custody of Corrections who must deal with them and the things they do. Due to not disarming myself I had no choice but to leave the premise.I’d like to respectfully recommend that security services as well as Mall staff have a greater understanding of how broad the law enforcement community is and why we carry our sidearms with us. Myself as well as many other Corrections Officers and police officers get approached in public by individuals who have previously been in the system and remember us. I sincerely hope this is taken into consideration.

Visited the Mall on Memorial Day and it was busy. The Nike store had a line outside of people waiting to get inside. It was nice to see people out and about enjoying their day shopping.

Not sure how this place is staying in business....Peeling paint, dirty walls, needs a good powerwashing and coat of paint on everything.Probably 40% vacant.Lots of closed stores.

This is a really solid outlet mall. There arent alot of empty slots and I cant think of any major outlet retailer that isnt here. Theres a ton of parking all around the mall, so if you only need a single store, theres a good chance you can park close by. There are also a few restaurants (Subway, Bens Soft Pretzels, others) located throughout the mall and the area just outside the mall seems to have seen a revitalization with a few locally owned restaurants. We will definitely be back to this mall.

Not what it use to be. Lee and Wrangler store I use to love going there this will be my last time. Store looked worst then a second hand store. I was happy with the new shoe store. It had a lot of trash around not as clean.

One item was priced wrong but they would not sell it to me for the price it was marked. It was a regular tag attached to the wallet. They should have sold it to me. I do love what I did buy.

We go shopping here for clothes now. They have all good stores and a good variety of stuff to choose from, but a ton of it is so over priced.

There is a nice selection of stores, but none of them really seem to be outlets. Pricing seemed pretty on par with what you can find online. It was a nice little stop off while we were in town on a cousins trip.

I went on a Thursday and it was kind of dead. Not the usual bustling outlet mall it used to be. Couldnt find a restaurant to go to to get a bite to eat or a cold drink.

Ive always enjoyed this outdoor mall, until today. Maybe its just the whole Covid ordeal or store clerks forgot customer service skills ? Especially yankee candle...Im well over 45 and dont need a guy breathing down my neck as a smell candles.

I was recently traveling from WI to MI on a regular basis to visit my husband who was there working on a long-term project. So I often would find places to visit along the way to make the drives more fun! 😇 when I say places to visit I mean shopping of course! I like to think of myself as an avid antique and fashion shopper with an added flare for interior design as well however my husband refers to it as somethingelse I wont share😆🤐. So basically Im always on the look out. Anyway I found this little hidden gem right off the highway when enroute so I thought I give it a chance. Its approximately 5 miles off the highway and fairly easy to find. I did take a wrong turn and it got a bit scary but I was there in no time. Very pleasant shopping experience.The cleanliness of the shops as well as parking lots was very appealing and immediately noticed. In fact that was one of my favorite parts on visiting here. Often times when visiting outlet malls or similar its hard to keep clean with the never ending in and out traffic so it was big for me since Im sll about clean! It was definitely a win finding this little shopping mall. Great stores and some fabulous staff. I surely bought plenty to bring home from this trip.

Its okay if your a person that likes an outside mall. I only go there for my gym shoes. They have great prices. And my feet are small. But its not a place Ill go to often. Their nothing like my mall where I live. Nor have the things we have. Lighthouse is strictly for shoes in my opinion.
