This shop is a gem! I recently shopped at Addison West in hopes of finding some unique birthday gifts for a few friends and this store did not disappoint. I found a perfect piece of art, fabulous earrings, a cozy winter hat, groovy playing cards and a yummy scented balsam fir reed diffuser for the holidays. One stop shopping is the best.

This is a gem of a store that is a pleasure to browse. Monique has chosen selections that are a blend of old and new, utilitarian and decorative. They are then displayed in such a way that the shopper gets a sense of the Addison West style as well as home decoration ideas. In addition, there is a great selection of unique gifts from cocktail accessories to jewelry. Middlebury and its visitors are lucky to have this new venture right in the center of town. Definitely worth a visit.

I ordered the Cora orb, aka Dayes Octopus, the Darby table lamps (LOVE) and a cute ring online. Everything arrived quickly, in great packaging, and exceeded my expectations. Monique has been the vision behind my master bedroom project here in MA. She has an innate ability to take a space, regardless its dimensions and quirkiness and find its potential. Master bathroom? Sure no problem”. His and Hers built in closets? “Yup”. Addison West is a new gem on Main Street in Middlebury, VT. It is worth the drive to make it a destination outing! Monique‘s incredible style, gentle suggestions, and design services complement her brick and mortar store, her online options, and imbue the spaces that she helps enhance. I can personally attest to the design services, as Monique has helped me refresh my living room, with a combination of things I already have, and some new pieces. I am thrilled with the results. Not only is the living room refresh a success, but Monique’s positivity, energy, and can-do attitude have inspired me to de-clutter, see things with a new eye, and in general, feel great about the space in which my family and I live. Monique and Addison West are amazing! I cannot recommend Mo highly enough for her design services, and her beautiful, curated items for sale.

Loving this addition to the homewares shopping scene in Addison County! Moniques design ideas are contemporary, functional and warm. Very modern Vermont. After a private design consultation (following Covid protocols), I am impressed by her friendly nature, creative design recommendations and prompt replies with design ideas and suggestions for my space. Highly recommend a visit to the storefront (they also have a great website) in downtown Middlebury - very well curated mix of vintage and modern decor items and furniture.
