I contacted Jeff Alvarado at Jaeger Lumber to assist me on a gut renovation for a house. From day 1, Jeff took time out to go over all the details from the replacement windows to the doors to the hardy plank. Pricing and service were excellent. Jeff is accessible and great to work with. Get the help you need and save money by going anywhere else. Manger sucks, if you need some local help harbor freight will probably have a better selection on Green Brook road

Avoid this place. Lumber delivered was worst at best. Manager James did not care. Seems he only wanted the sale. Go to Lowes or Home Depot to pick your own wood. Again avoid the hassles. Save time and money. Dont complain, wont make a difference.

Jeffrey Alvarado literally helped save us thousands of dollars with his expertise and knowledge of the materials that Jaeger sells!! He helped us to reconsider some poor decisions we were making. In addition we showed him a picture of what we were trying to accomplish and he drew us a picture and made us a material list right on the spot. We could not be more pleased, no more Home Depot in our future!!

I am a contractor and have been buying materials from them for a few months now. Jeff Alvarado have been helping me since the first day I walked in, he is always willing to help on all my projects. This will be my number one place from now on.

When I asked for help, James introduced himself. He was rude to say the least. I tried explaining what I needed. My english is not that good. He kept looking around like I was wasting his time. Did not hold my interest. A women walked in, excused himself to help her. Never saw him again. Never set foot in that store again. Word of mouth is the best or the worst advertising. This store and James failed on this one.

I went into Jaeger Lumber absolutely clueless about how to get my back deck redone. I had a few pictures on my phone and a lot of questions. Jeffrey Alvarado sat down with me, looked over my photos, and discussed my needs. I left with a comprehensive estimate tailored to my budget. I also asked him if he could recommend a contractor, and the guy he suggested turned out to be fantastic. As the process moved forward, he was always available to answer my questions, and worked directly with my contractor to make the entire process completely painless. These guys are helpful, professional, and excellent all-round. My deck is beautiful, and I’m looking for excuses to use them again. After reading reviews I set up an appointment with Michele to design my kitchen, but looks like she was very busy to respond to my emails and give me an estimate. I tried to reach her multiple times but no response.

Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or another yard, no regard for customers. Sad cause as a contractor I love to use local lumber yards but this place could care less about your business.

Called to ask about lumber decking and was told we have some and hung up on before another word could be said? I would prefer a local hardware store but will return to Home Depot

Front desk guy was very helpful and honest. I used to not like shopping here, but it seems much better now.

Terribly rude customer service by an older gray haired man. It was so evident he did not want to help us. I will never step foot in that store again. Being from Middlesex I like to support our local businesses but not this one!
