In these difficult times trying to find inventory or a salesman you can trust to help you find or order your next vehicle, I suggest you go to Otto Ficken in Middletown. Very accommodating very helpful and kind helping me on the phone with inventory available and what was on its way. After much research and thinking, I decided to visit Otto in person and put in my order. The Middletown dealership including their manager Gina were the most helpful and honest dealer in the state. Fingers crossed that I will have my new RAV4 soon!
I have nothing but kind words for the Service Dept. @ Middletown Toyota. Costs (thus far) have been reasonable, and usually the wait isnt too bad. I never felt like I was overcharged by the Service Dept. or when I bought my new Corolla there in 2018.

I recently purchased a Top of the line Toyota Highlander 8 months ago and had a great experience at Middletown Toyota. I made an appointment with sales person on August 26 but when my wife and I walked thru the door we noticed a familiar sales person we had dealt with from another dealership that we liked and started discuss between use that he was now working here. While talking the receptionist rudely yelled from halfway across the room “can I help you “ we end our conversation and walked over to where she sat and informed her we had an appointment with sales person. The place was virtually empty salesman seemed un informed and not interested in selling a car that we wanted. We decided to go somewhere else, expected more from Middletown Toyota.

I made an appointment a week before to test drive a Lexus gx460 but upon arrival the sales representative informed me that that car in in the repair shop doing work on the moonroof and car will be available only after 3 days. I understand what they are saying but they can at least can call me and say the car is not available for test drive.or they can update their website showing the car temporarily unavailable. By this way people can avoid wasting their precious time.saying a sorry is not the best way to treat a customer

Very disappointed with the service advisor. He seemed very disorganized. I was waiting for notification that the car was done. No notice. An hour later I went to the desk to ask. He wasnt there but 2 ladies were. I asked about the car. There was a big pile of paperwork on the counter. She looked thru and found my vehicle near the bottom of the pile meaning Id been waiting there for no reason. I did not get any checklist form for the visit. I feel comfortable that the maintenance was done correctly but I was not happy at all about the service. I have several choices available and why would I want to spend more money here instead of the alternatives?

Went to test drive a 2010 highlander and the salesperson brought the vehicle stating that it went though an extensive mechanical and safety inspection and all it needed was detailing. The car had bald tires to the extent that I didn’t feel safe going for a test drive. I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of used cars from a Toyota dealership

First off I have a 2007 Tundra. Close to 200K miles. Besides routine maintenance I have never paid for a repair. This ended when the mechanical parts of the CD/DVD navigation broke. Not a cheap fix but the team at Toyota Middletown did an exceptional job of finding the most effective solution for me.

Got my car regular service done here, but they returned my car with alternator problem. It was all fine till drop it to them; now when contacted they say they dont have appointments... quite disappointed.

What is remarkable is the service that Middletown Toyota provides, they really are a 5 star show, they really make everything easy from making good on the sales agreement for a missing item or two, or helping with the registration transfer (completely unexpected). Ultimately when you go to buy your family vehicle this is how you hope it happens. Do not support Middletown Toyota. My family has bought 5 brand new Toyotas (3 highlanders & 2 Rav 4) from them since 2001. Went to purchase a Tacoma 1/6/21 but did not want the one on hand because it had too many miles and they agreed to get me a new one. Ten days later they called to offer me a vehicle with 150 miles, much more than the one I initially refused. That shows they did not work on m y request immediately and was setting the groundwork for keeping my deposit should I wish to discontinue process - pure bad faith. In any case, I waited 30 days and still no vehicle. I requested a refund and they refused despite my history with them because not only did we purchase the vehicles from them but had them serviced there also. And they had the audacity to offer me parts/service in lieu of a refund as though I would want to do business with them following this. I will continue to do all in my power to stop the public from doing business with them if possible. I only gave one star because 0 is not an option.

This was a purchase from out of state so I never had the chance to meet my salesperson in person. This was however the most positive car buying purchase I’ve ever had. I felt like it was an honest collaboration between myself and the dealership, especially my salesperson, Jasmine Moore. I didn’t feel like I was entering an adversarial relationship with the dealership but instead I felt that they honestly brokered the deal to get me the car I wanted at a fair price.I would highly recommend Middletown Toyota to anyone interested in a low pressure and trustworthy experience.

I Bought a 2021 RAV4 from Jasmine Moore.During negotiation she called me the wrong name while leaving a message for my insurance agent. I corrected her & 10 seconds later she called me the wrong name again. Corrected her again. Back to the negotiating & she runs off to do I dont know what. Now the sales manager, Matthew, comes over introduces himself & calls me the wrong name. (Wonderful that I’m spending this much money on a car and no one can remember my name). So I correct him. We chat for a while he gives me the spiel about the paint protectant -no thanks-& off he goes.Went to pick the car up. I am waiting almost 25 minutes for the finance guy, Jerimiah. Finally he comes in. He calls me the wrong name. (Honestly). I correct him. Wow is he scattered. He runs back-and-forth from where I’m sitting to his office. Then back again. One of those times I am waiting for him to come back Matthew comes in to talk. Guess what? He calls me by the wrong name. Nope I’m not making this up.Jeremiah comes back. All the paperwork is signed & he sticks his his hand to congratulate me on my new car. He says nothing about giving him the down payment. Mind you he just signed all the paperwork saying that I gave him that down payment. Imagine his surprised face when I reminded him of it. Wow.Jasmine gets the car for me opens the door and I get in. Nothing explained to me how anything works or what this car even does. I drive away clueless. Guess I was supposed to sit in their parking lot and read the 765 page manual. Got it home & there was a long scratch on the front left bumper. Then I noticed scratches all over the drivers side door. (I did not notice these because the car was driven to me & the door opened for me). Question for you Middletown Toyota- Why do you even bother having a checklist in the car if no one‘s going to look at it? Called Jasmine & she said Bring it back the body shop would fix it. I take it back & wait. Jasmine’s says that sometimes the cars get scratches when cars come off the truck. Well then why arent they fixed before you give the car to your customers? (Checklist!) After about an hour wait Jasmine tells me that the scratch on the front bumper they were able to buff out but door scratches would need paint. So I had to leave it there. They gave me a rental. Pick up the car 2 days later. Door scratches are gone. But that front bumper scratch which I was told was buffed out? It’s even worse. How is it possible that the body shop makes some thing worse, doesn’t correct it and gives it back to the customer? So I had to bring it back to the body shop. I got reprimanded by the manager who told me that I cannot keep bringing the car back every time I find a scratch. Nope I’m not making this up. I told him that maybe he should take it up with his dealership that sold me a car with scratches to begin with. Bumper was fixed & I drove home frustrated. Driving the car around over the weekend and I go to use the back wiper and no wiper fluid comes out. Seriously? So I text Jasmine. She tells me how to use the wiper controls. I know how to use the wiper controls. She then tells me to come back and they will top it off for me. Let me get this straight-So I have to go back there for the third time because this car was not looked at before it was given to me? One word-CHECKLIST. I get my first ‘welcome to the toyota family‘ email. Guess what? First name is wrong. Then I get a survey. Guess what? Wrong name again. I sent Jasmine a text & ask her why are they still calling me by the wrong name?She responses & says that their files have been updated that it should be right now. Less than a week later I get another survey. You guessed it-Wrong name again. Just got a letter from Sirius radio-look at that wrong name again. After all that & already the car is having issues. I have to take it back for service this week. I wish this review would let me type more because I have a lot more to say. I will end with this -Never again will I go to Middletown Toyota.
Middletown Toyota is a dealership where I felt very much at home because of their candid professionalism. In securing a lease contract with them, there were no hidden clauses, they laid it all out and I appreciated that. They are always in touch to remind me of the next steps. Feel very safe and confident with them.

Terrible service, extremely expensive for even the simplest fixes. Bring it in for one thing, and three other things end up mysteriously broken. Sales team is unprofessional, and they lie. Once that signature is on the purchase agreement they don’t want to know you and are suddenly rude.The parts department is a ray of sunshine; great staff, well stocked, nice guys. How they put up with the profound incompetence surrounding them is a mystery.

I really enjoyed my visit at Middletown Toyota. I had a young woman named Ellen help me get set up with my car and she was more than helpful! I had no idea you could choose the music you listen to in the car but Ellen hooked me up. She showed me that not only can I change the music, but if I want to keep a station forever I can use the buttons!!! At first I was confused but Ellen was very patient in repeating the instructions to me so I could take notes. Now Im never getting rid of my notes. Honestly thinking of going to staples tomorrow to get the sticky note laminated. Thank you for your help Ellen!
This team went out of their way to accommodate my unexpected Prius shut down caused by mice nests disabling my Hybrid sensors. They delivered a rental car to my home by staying after their normal closing time so I would have transportation to make it to class at 8am the next morning. I stopped by today to get a car registered, and it was great! None of the places closer to me were able to get me in today. These folks were super friendly and super fast getting my car registered and getting my plates ready. Highly recommend as an alternative to trying to get to the DMV! If Im ever able to afford buying a car from a dealership, I will definitely keep this place in mind because they were so nice to work with.
BODY SHOP Review only - I had body repairs done, including my side moldings a year ago. I was very please all around with quality of work and price. However, the moldings started to peel off less than a year later. Louise had them removed, cleaned and re secured with a far better adhesive than what came on the original parts. All of this done cheerfully and at no additional cost to me.

This place has no empathy. I have been homeless 5 months and lease was ending so went there. Found one and did all you need put deposit on it. Well over weekend a place came available. On SSI I cant get apartment and have car payment too . The money is. Not there .explained this but told me I was SOL after pleading to give me my 1000 dollars back . I had to take the cheapest car they had or Id lose my money. I know I signed papers but that is not the point. If they think Im lying Im not. At 69 Im not a dishonest person. So dont put money down if you think anything might go wrong in you life Other car dealers give back money and try and make it a nice experience. Now Im stuck with a car I dont want .

I purchased a CPO Tacoma from Middletown Toyota. Not the dealers fault but some issues were found with the truck after I took it home(water leak). These guys were excellent in taking care of me. Marc B(one of the sales managers) wasted no time and was able to get the issues resolved quickly and fairly painless to me. Jasmine M who sold me the truck was great. She was knowledgeable and was able to sell me a truck without making me feel pressured. Dealers needs more sales people like her. Marcus in the body shop was a big help in making sure the leak was fixed properly and kept me updated with pictures and phone calls. Lastly Chuck H in service was able to get me in ASAP for one more last little repair. We went over the services that are due on the truck and he was more then honest and gave me a good price.All around a great experience.

I would give a Zero rating but that is not an option.I have had multiple problems with the dealership within hours of leaving the shop. I have tried on numerous occasions to speak with someone and every time I am told that somebody will contact me, they don’t. I also have an IOU that is still outstanding. I have tried to solve this on multiple occasions and again, no response from the dealership. I am completely dissatisfied with Middletown Toyota and will never recommend them to anyone.
I had been working with Chuck Hills in service for over a year as I brought my Tacoma in for frame inspections. Over time the corrosion progressed and was brought in for the frame replacement. I met with Andy to discuss the replacement process. Impressive amount of experience and knowledge regarding the product and the process. I spent a fair amount of time ensuring my truck was tight and rattle free prior to the frame change. When Andy was done it was still tight and rattle free. He’s an old school mechanic. Not a guy who waits for a computer to tell him what’s wrong.
The biggest benefits for us were honesty and no surprises. Were happy with the car and with the service while and since buying it.
Thy are so very truthful, nice, quick, responsible, and affordable, visit them now, you wont regret.

I contacted 7 Toyota dealerships with a specific configuration of a 2017 Highlander. Out of all of them, Middletown Toyota came in with the best out-the-door price and quickest delivery of the vehicle (it was sort of a special order with specific accessories). I received excellent customer service from Danielle Taylor. She was even in contact with me on her day off at the end of the month when we were negotiating an out-the-door price between her dealership and another. She was very professional throughout the process. Because of the specific accessories, including remote starter, the installation needed to be correct. This took a few additional days but I was contacted by the General Sales Manager, Tim Michael, to assure me that all was being taken care of and to keep us in the loop with the process. That was a very nice personal touch. At delivery Danielle actually went through the vehicle with us, as there were multiple customers taking delivery that day. Angel from Finance was very professional with the document signing and everything went smoothly. Price is very important when purchasing a car. I would also put some weight behind service as well. I would say this to others looking at a Toyota: Do your research and shop the same vehicle around at multiple dealerships but if prices are similar between another dealership and Middletown Toyota, go with the guys and gals at Middletown.
