I am going on day 11 waiting for my car to be inspected! My appointment was for August 3rd 10am. It is now August 13th 1pm and still not touched! I have been promised several different times that it would be done. And now I cannot get a return phone call. I am so upset at the money lost paying for a vehicle I cannot drive. Not to mention the emotional stress and anxiety trying to just get my family’s necessities. I completely understand being behind but this is insane! I actually had a really great experience with this company before and so did my mother but I am at a total loss with this current situation! Also just to be clear that I am aware of the device installed in my vehicle and was upfront about it when making the appointment so I would hope that if that is the issue for not inspecting my car I would have been told 3 weeks ago. I would also like to add that I’m personally hurt by how this entire situation has played out and left me car less and in debt. But most of all I really trusted this place and now I don’t know what to do! Because they are familiar with my vehicle and know my family I felt safe. I’m literally physically ill.*** update *** Today is August 22nd and I have been completely ignored! Never a return phone call and obviously I never received the inspection even though I had a appointment and was told on several occasions it would be done. I now after wasting nearly a month am forced to go elsewhere. I suppose that was their goal to begin with. My question is, if inspecting my car was a issue why not just tell me upfront?!? I would have rather been told in the beginning that due to a device installed in my vehicle it is a problem. I will never understand why I was treated like a high school girl that just got dumped! In 44 years not only have I never experienced treatment like this from a company but I don’t even know anyone who has ! It was so far out there and completely absurd behavior on Sierras part! Never Again! Do NOT Recommend!!!

Dont go their first thing in the morning when they open for an impound they will still make you pay for the day and charge you sales tax...and make you pay even when the tow guy said there not open on the weekends..he lied they are open on Saturday ...Im going to check all this out from my lawyer and ask about that sales tax... didnt buy anything they didnt work on anything but I still got taxed...I not being nasty just trying to understand!!!!sales tax wow..I will be checking that out...I might have to report them NOT TO MIDDLETOWN..TO THE BETTER BUISNES BUREAU... IM GOING TO...MIDDLETOWN WONT DO NOTHIN.....BUT THE STATE OF N.Y. WILL.....I DONT PLAY WHAT I SAY I DO...........

I have been using Sierra Auto for over 15 years. The tech (Johnny Jr.) is a ASE master tech. Really knows his stuff. They were always able to work out pricing from day one. They also stand behind their work. I would recommend them any day.

Love love love this place!!! They have always been upfront and get my vehicle up and running! The owner Joel is the cats meow!! He would offer me a ride back home when doing work on my car . Grade A shop!! Highly recommended!!!

This place has the rudest staff ever! I was told I was basically an idiot for letting my car get towed and than when I asked the woman to please stop explaining to me why I had gotten towed she kept going and when I walked out to get them the cash for the services, upset, because I dont appreciate businesses Im paying to call me stupid, I was told I was rude. What customer is not upset after getting towed? After having the police department tell me what I did wrong and paying $160.00 to get my car back I most certainly did not need the extra lecture or the people Im doing business with to tell me they felt personally insulted by my private feelings they overheard while venting to a friend, while waiting on a final price, after getting towed. Im trying to get in touch with the owner, Joel, and have been given even more attitude. I have never been treated worse. This business does not care about its consumers and I will be telling EVERYONE about my experience. Stay away from Sierras Auto!!!

Very bad experience with these guys. Talk about bottom of the barrel tow truck drivers. Got car towed on a friday which was not authorized. Tried to get out monday and it was over $400. Didnt have the money and storage rate is unbelievably high. im going to have to eat this one. By the time i get paid storage cost will be unreal. I would not recommend doing business here. Someone needs to report these guys to the better business bureau. I know i will.

I just moved to the area - I do most of the work on my truck myself but needed my parking brake adjusted and was too busy. I dropped my truck off and they fixed it - as promised and for the price quoted! I will be back for anything that I cant do myself on my truck.
