I purchased my leased car last week and Ahmed Hassan helped me through the process. There is a lot of paperwork which he explained and answered all my questions. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and took time to go over everything with me. I really appreciated that and didn’t feel rushed or pressured! I would recommend Ahmed and Middletown Nissan to anyone looking for a new car.
The people were nice but we werent told about a lot of things until we were signing papers for our lease. They did not communicate about fees or other items added. We were shocked with the extra costs that werent told to us. We also were not taught how to do things with the car when we picked up when we were told someone would show us. The car we picked up had more miles than what we originally signed to. Poor communication skills at the place. You can tell they just sell and not really help the clients.
When made recall appointment it was scheduled for 9:00 AM when I received my email reminder for the appointment it said 12:30 PM I called to find out why it was changed they put it back to 9 they didnt know why it said 1230 then when we got there for appointment at 9 they seemed over booked and car wasnt done till 12 for what they said was a quick simple fix. People were nice but seemed unorganized.
First experience with Middletown Nissan and have to say it was 5 star. Our salesperson Ahmed Hassan was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely accommodating, as we had difficult schedules to work around. He made the process easy quick and stress free. And might I add we were able to get the exact car we went in for. Definitely recommend Ahmed for your next car purchase.

Maintenance performed quickly considering it was a Saturday. There were several vehicles ahead of mine and I expected an extended stay. Was sitting in spacious lounge with great selection of Free snacks, water and coffee/tea. Makes sitting/waiting much more comfortable. Car was finished in 75 minutes. Interior cleaned after servicing. Service rep was outstanding and really cares that you understand process and service completed.
Thank you to Aron Singleton! Aron removed any confusion, and helped clarify every aspect of a successful sale, while remaining profession with our onslaught of questions. He stayed with us during the entirety of the sale and helped us be comfortable during or visit. If these guys get your contact info, they will mindlessly call you multiple times a day, without any acknowledgement of any previous conversations. I got calls from the exact same person within ten minutes of one another. Then, when I received the VIP price for the car that I was interested in, they had tacked on so many fees that my final price was $5000 MORE than what was listed on the Internet (over 32K on a car that was listed at $27,400). While I would not blame my individual salesperson, I think that he is part of a marketing machine which has no conscience. I would hesitate to do business with these guys under any circumstances.
Had a great experience here at Middletown Nissan, was assisted by sales rep Derrick Jones and he knows his stuff! he appointed me directly to the right vehicle that fit me and my budget and I couldn’t have asked for a better sales rep to have helped me. Went to dealership... and test Drove a Rogue Sport... was happy with the test drive... I then went in to go over the numbers... i asked for an out the door price.. and almost fell off my seat seeing it... it was almost 5k more than the selling price listed ... i wanted to buy the car .. and counter offered... was then showed the price.. they would take.. when looking at the numbers i did not see STATE SALES tax or DMV fees.on it AND WERE THEY INCLUDED TO THE the sales person ... HE played dumb SAYING let me check with my Sales MANAGER.. then CAME back to say they are NOT INCLUDED... i was not ever introduced to a sales or general manager.. to try and get my sale.. i walked out totally unhappy.. I wanted to buy it..and put a deposit on it... but I m.. not paying 5 k more... for it... they made me walk without a sale... MY...worst ever experience... sent AMANDA the manager an EMAIL about it.. but was never contacted to here my side of the story...

Meant to make this review a while ago but it slipped my mind.Bought from here back in August and the experience on that day was ok. Salesman was nice but failed to mention a lot of the features of the car, but i did my research beforehand so that was no big deal. The big issue was that we ended up waiting 5 hours for someone from financing to come and finish up the sale. We couldn’t even get a receipt because the person that would normally do that step left for the night and i was told the next day that they were unable to print a past one. In retrospect, i should have left a lot earlier. A few months after i got the car, i noticed an air leak in my tire. When i went to get that fixed, i was informed that there was a patch in the sidewall of the tire (pic attached). There was no mention of this anywhere on the inspection paperwork, so i would not trust the inspections here. After calling them multiple times and being essentially hung up on each time due to their voicemail box being full and auto hanging up on you (this may have been rectified by now), I ended up just calling corporate. Due to the terrible hours of corporate (for me at least), I ended up spending an additional $600 on a new set of tires. The car runs great now and i can’t recommend a Nissan enough, just avoid buying from this place at all costs.
I had two issues to be rectified with my Vehicle .one included the brakes which has since been fixed, however I am still hearing a rattling or clunking sound coming from under the vehicle that they cant seem to find. Over all I was pleased with the customer service received, I am however not very confident in the mechanical service provided as I had had to make sevetal trips and pay fees each time .
ABDUL!!! I love you. His energy was amazing. My boyfriend and I enjoyed every second of purchasing this car. They made this experience so much fun for me, and he worked with me in finding a car that was not only beautiful but affordable and worked within my budget. They take advantage of you if you’ve never bought a car before. Unfortunately I am young and didn’t bring anyone with me so I am stuck paying 16,900 for a 13,000 car AFTER I put 10k down already. How do I owe 16,000+? Definitely bring someone with you that has leased or financed a car before or take your business elsewhere.
I am only giving this a one star, because I cant go any lower. Let me preface this by stating I am not someone who typically leaves reviews because everyone has different experiences. I had inquired about a vehicle on their website. After talking to the first sales person we realized the truck I was inquiring about wasnt actually what I was looking for. It was RWD and I needed 4WD. In the next days couple of days I have received at least 10 phone calls from different sales people asking me when I can come test drive the truck. (the one I was no longer interested in) Maybe lack of software and training but having talked with many other dealerships this one seems completely unorganized.
Ahmad was very helpful and accommodating and made the whole stressful process of financing a car comfortable and hassle free.
I have been a loyal Middletown Nissan customer for 25 years, have never gone anywhere else. Mike Neal was great in showing me all the details of the new 2021 Rogue and it is vastly different from any car Ive ever had. Im looking forward to driving this car.

Do not give your contact info to this dealership unless you are serious about doing business with them.I made the mistake of providing my contact info and they push very hard to get you in.I told them very specifically that I was no longer really in the market to purchase, and only really interested in one specific model (not a Nissan), which they did not have. The sales person did not explicitly admit that they didnt have it, just kept insisting that they had great availability, whatever that means. Great availability of.... time? Oxygen? donuts?I have been texted and called multiple times a day in the last few days, with the sales person on the other end trying to pressure me to come in. They will not take no for an answer. Had to block the phone number.Please stop treating customers like idiots.

Ahmed was really patient with us. He ran back and forth for our test drives and different models. Although we had some issues with the financial disputes we were able to get a great deal!
Sale rep Asia was very nice but this please will nickel and dime the hell out of you. Its standard practice for them to charge you a destination fee of $1,045 even if the car is from CT. They then add that destination fee to the taxable price so youre paying more taxes to the state, $516 in taxable fees that their manager cant even explain and will end up saying its an additional registration and dmv fee (bc he doesnt know), and theyll charge you an extra $185 for registration compared to other dealers.
It took almost two hours for an oil change. That is unexceptable. The door says express nothig express getting an oil change. The young man didnt even inform me that the wait was about 2 hours. Other locations have faster service even on a weekend and some even give you a car wash.
My experience was awesome. I went there wanting to get a new car and that’s exactly what I got. Derek, my salesman, went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted. It was a smooth process. I am very grateful!
I went in trying to get a Nissan Sentra that would match my budget and needs. Nick was incredibly helpful in understanding my concerns, walking through all the previous owners information, and answering all the questions I had. I was not pressured into completing the deal and they were willing to work with me. My car was ready the next day for pickup, with transit plates, and they even called me a few days later to check in and make sure everything was okay.

Horrible experience I will not go there again made an appointment a week prior.. drop the car off for something that was supposed to be a one day appointment. Never received a phone call about the status of the vehicle. When I did call everyone left for the day and I could not get answers. After the third day I was told the car will be ready by noon because all the parts came in which was a lie. So I would stay away from this place unless you want to be aggravated. Service department stinks.
I visited today and I read through the comments and reviews and one of them really stuck out but I said let me take my chances because I already know how fees and registration fees work, and the person who commented about it was so right! there’s no way that those fees can possibly amount to $5,000. they are usually at the MOST $2500. don’t waste your time here if you’re not willing to pay that because I sure wasn’t.

I worked with Mike Neil and Sarah Chama, this dealership will give you a hassle free experience. The FRIENDLIEST people, who give you what YOU want. There’s no pressure and they make sure they give you every detail of your purchase, there is nothing hidden. They don’t try to convince you to buy something so they can make a sale, it’s all about YOU and to make sure that you are happy and taken care of. All staff in the building were extremely friendly as well, anyone who walked past made sure if I needed water, and they gave my daughter some books while I did paperwork. I HIGHLY recommend

Told the dealer after looking at a 2016 Toyota Carolla in the lot I liked the car and to take a look at the brakes which were bad and today I was gonna come to test drive the car to purchase and they sold it from under me, without even asking me to put deposit down in order. Ot to loose the car. Very rude after it was only my driving it that found the problem. I was even willing to buy it if they did that and nope they sold it. Rude never going back 😤

Asad has always been professional andvery helpful in setting up my phone and taking me through the intricacies of each vehicle. Great asset for Middletown Nissan.
The process was ok until we mentioned anything about lowering price for a used car, I was constantly brushed off when asking about extra fees not mentioned, the issue with this place is that they are unwilling to compromise to work with customers to lower fees that are implemented by their own company to offset declining sales. We were charged thousands in fees they could have chosen to lower but refused to do so, the issue with this place is their greed and unethical business practices. When doing business( especially car sales) word of mouth is huge, given that they are so greedy I wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know, otherwise had they worked to help me out and not be so sneaky trying to rush inflated sales, I would have recommended to others which in return would drive up their sales.
Went in for my first service visit the other day. I have a leased vehicle and the owners manual calls for regular oil every 3750 - 7500 miles and a tire rotation every other oil change. I went in at 5,000 miles and was told by the service advisor that Nissan requires a synthetic oil change every 3750 - 7500 miles and requires a tire rotation every service visit. Since I knew this to be wrong I told him he was wrong. He continued to fight me on it saying I was wrong. In the end I got the synthetic oil change so I can go there less and passed on the tire rotation. He didnt seem too happy about it. I will have to second guess returning their for service and will have to do my research (I advise everyone to research) before visiting.

He was very professional and very sweet to me during this sressful time they both made my experience at Middletown Nissan the best I ever had. I’ve bought 3 cars in the past and they were by far the most experienced and most helpful trying to find me the best deal and to make sure I was completely satisfied. Totally feel like I got ripped off. The car itself (2020 Rogue Sport) is decent, but the car I test drove had features the one they leased me doesn’t have and when I wanted a sunroof they said they could put one in that would be “just as good as factory”. I went to a different dealer for my first oil change because it’s closer to work and was told I may have trouble turning it in at the end of the lease because of the after market sunroof THEY had installed for me! I feel like I got the bait and switch. Also they are very manipulative for good reviews. The salesman actually asked to show me something on my phone, chose 5 stars here and handed it back asking me to finish submitting a review. And then a week after the transaction they called me in for a “special gift” and when I got there they wanted me to complete Nissan’s review of the dealership and give them all good marks in return for the “free gift”. Which I never got because I opted out of emails. Also I purchased a maintenance package. When I tried to use it for my first oil change I found it was tire maintenance and road hazard or something like AAA - that may have been an honest mixup but I’m still out the $1000 for something I don’t want or need. The dealership is shady at best. Buyer beware.

Made an appointment to go see a car that apparently was already sold then settled for a different one that couldnt be located or was also sold and then was offered one with accident damage...as a first time buyer and driving 40 mins to get there I left pretty disappointed and discouraged. My sales person did run around like crazy for me and I appreciated that but the whole process didnt seem organized enough for me.

This place prices change like water levels on the CT River. I went there looking to buy a vehicle at one price then the vehicles prices jumped up over 5k once they added everything together. The sales rep Aja was Great, but I guess my regular credit score wasnt good enough to get the vehicle at a better price. So if you dont have a great credit score, go somewhere else.

The service department has been amazing handling an issue that was supposed to be handled by sales initially. I got a brand new car that needed glue removed . Salesman kept giving me the run around after I had to go there more than once only to be sent away with zero direction. I then decided to handle it and contact service (I believe nick was who I spoke with at this time ) within minutes he had answers for me with an appoint and contacted me 3 days later when my part arrived ! Even during my visit for the part not sure the young man who handled me that day he was also amazing and had me in and out . Props to the service department! You are all great ! 5 stars goes to service department for sure !

Mike Neal is an excellent salesman. He has helped me select just the right Nissan Altima, Sentra and now Versa over the past 25+ years. I value his knowledge and guidance. I am a short woman under 5. It is very important that I have a car that is comfortable and fits my stature. Mike takes this in consideration. He appreciates my requests for certain features. This time my concern was safety. Mike suggested a Versa with the safety features I was looking for. The experience of choosing the car was perfect. The service center here is great. I’ve never had a problem with getting my car serviced and all of the service managers are great. I feel that they are always honest. My experience with the sales team has been very different. Twice I was contacted by them because their VIP manager said my car is in demand. The first time I set an appointment and when I showed up, they seemed to not be aware of the appointment. There was no one available and I didn’t have time to wait. The second time someone called, I told the person I was not interested. They asked why and I gave them my reason. They asked that I come in for an informational talk. I declined and the person rudely ended the call. When it is time for me to buy a new car, I will not be purchasing from here.
Sara your finance manger was great. I was a little anxious when she was first explaining my lease as this is my first one but explained the process very well and worked with me to understand it. She explained all the forms well. While printing the forms, we would talk to get to know each other. I would love to work with Sara again when I‘m in need of a another new car.

This dealership is the absolute worst. The customer service is very terrible and they are very dishonest. They will promise you the world and everything they say will turn out to be not truthful..make sure you read the fine print. Don’t give this dealership your money because they do not care about you the customer.
