I woke up with a nail in my rear truck tire flat to the rim where I had it filled enough to reach Mr. TIRE where they were already behind in vehicles and down 2 mechanics But they still told me they will fit me in at the end of the day. 3p I received a phone call telling me I can pick up my truck. I truly appreciate the effort to getting my truck back in the road so I can make it to work the next day.

Paid $50 to plug a tire! This is twice as much as other shops charge. Also, the attendant attempted to upsell me on a new tire rather than simply plug a perfectly good tire with only 5,000mi on it.

Worst tire place ever!! WAY overpriced for tires and service! I have refused to use this business for several years because I had an appointment to get a tire fixed but I sat there for 4 hours after my appointment time and they still hadnt started it. My husband came over and we switched places so I could pick up the kids(yes, I was there that long!!). Fast forward to today. We needed a new tire to replace one that my daughter damaged when she hit a curb. No one had the exact tire in stock. So we ordered it from Amazon. Amazon has a relationship with Mr. Tire and Amazon set up the installation there. The tire arrived at Mr. Tire on Thursday. We had an appointment today (Sunday) at noon and have 2 emails plus a text verifying the appointment. My husband gets there and the Mr. Tire employee tells my husband we arent on the schedule! Then explains that when people order from Amazon, they do a 3 way call to set up the appointment. So they had this tire in their shop for days but they never contacted us. They know how there process works but how would we know that! We had emails from Amazon stating we had an appointment so there was no reason for us to contact them!! Im upset with Amazon too. But Mr. Tire just sucks all the way around!! My husband is taking the tire to Zees Tires to get it installed. They fit us in within half an hour and only charged $30.

I have been to the Middletown Mr. Tire ( not all are alike) several times but most recently to have two new tires installed on my 2018 Kia Optima and to have a flat tire from another car repaired. I experienced professional and courteous service. The prices seem to be in line with other tire shops. I am very pleased with the new tires and my wife is happy with the flat tire repair.

GREAT experience! Got a flat during a busy week, brought my tire in and it was fixed up within a couple of hours. Brought my car in and they put it back on and had me all set within an hour. Super affordable and staff was great. John was very kind and accomodating. I’m far from home going to college in Delaware, had no idea what I was doing so it was a great experience. Will be recommending to everyone I know!

Change for the worse, clearly. Had a horrible experience with my vehicle I brought in this past week. Brought it in Sunday, said theyd try to get it done by Monday, was promised it on a Tuesday, and it wasnt done until Wednesday! Then, when I went to pick it up, they made me stand there for nearly 30 minutes while they completed the paperwork and did some other things. Then, there were services on my invoice that werent done and I had to wait until he corrected it. Bottom line-- Mr. Tire Middletown has changed, big time, for the worse. Ive been bringing my vehicles here for years, and its quite clear that management has changed (easy to see from different people behind the desk now), and so has the quality of service. What a shame. Fortunately, there ARE other car repair options in Middletown.

I needed an oil change at the last minute on my day off and all of the shops in Middletown were booked for the day. So I called Mr. tire and John McDaniel schedule me in and was very nice gave great customer service and checked my tires on my 08 Honda Odyssey. After the great service and the staff pointing out deals to help me save money. Not only did I get my oil change done I got new tires, an alignment and a transmission fluid flush.I am surprised by how much money I saved I will be making an appointment in the future with this location.

Dropped my truck off for an oil change. picked up later that day and as I got in my truck It smelled like someone had been smoking in it. look over on my passenger seat and there was cigarette ash all over with small burn holes in the seat cover thankfully I had seat covers. This is a new truck. Manager could of care less when I went back in to let him know.

I had an issue with my wife’s car’s tire pressure light coming on even after she filled the tires with air. Roger and the team had me drop off the car in the morning and had it fixed by the middle of the afternoon.

Dropped my car off Monday morning for a brake job and an oil change. I called that evening to see if my car was ready and no one answered the phone or was at the shop so I had to leave my car there overnight. I try calling the next day, and the gentleman who answered the phone stated they all left the day before for a COVID-19 outbreak and that no one was even certified in the shop to look at my car until the following day, Wednesday..... so here it is Wednesday and I call them to see if my car is FINALLY ready and no one will answer their phones AGAIN. I am very disappointed that my car has been gone for over 3 days for something that any shop would have done in less then a few hours for me. It is also very unprofessional for no one from their shop to call me with an update, and didnt even have the common decency to tell me they were closing early Monday to see if I wanted to take my car else where leaving me to find rides to and from work. I will never be taking my car there again, and hope no one has this same experience.

Took my car there for an 8am tire install, was told that well get back to you by the end of the day, first problem. They were not able to install the tire(not their fault), but they put the spare on and cross threaded my wheel studs, second problem. When I picked up my keys, I was given the keys and a lugnut. I asked why wasnt it on the wheel and the counter guy just shrugged his shoulders. when I got home I tried to put it on and found out it was damaged. Way to go Mr Tire, Ill never go there again.

***DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY!***Brought my car here for a simple wheel alignment and A/C refill. They ended up blowing my compressor up by overfilling it. They knew they had damaged my A/C compressor but instead chose to lie to me and tell me that the A/C system checked out fine. This was after I witnessed the manager John (guy with the funky looking beard that’s usually at the desk) talking to a concerned mechanic that was working on my car. Not thinking much about the situation I shrugged it off until I got my car back.I ended up driving home and parking my car in my garage and getting exposed to R-134a poisoning that seeped out into my garage and home from extreme compressor failure (blown out compressor seals from high pressure). I smelled an odd odor (which was from their tracer dye hitting hot engine parts and burning off) in my house and followed it to the garage where once I opened the door I heard the Freon gas leaking under the hood. It was extremely loud and my car had been sitting there for about 15 minutes at this point. I immediately opened my garage door and moved the car outside. When I opened the car hood I was livid because there was sticky green stuff sprayed all over my engine bay and Freon spewing out still from the A/C compressor that they blew up. (Yes it was leaking the entire trip home but the engines sounds covered it up).I immediately called the shop to complain about the issue. It had been only 30 minutes after I left and my car was like this. I got a female Mr.Tire rep on the phone that already somehow knew about my car having a severe refrigerant leak before I even gave here my name or car model or even mentioned the leak at all. She just knew already. It felt like she was expecting my call. I mean how shady is the place? The rep told me to call back the following day when John their manager would be back in. In the mean time I had taken pictures of my car and the mess.When I called the following morning I got John on the phone and he tried to sell me a story about how they use Freon and tracer dye to diagnose leaks as part of their diagnostic test which made absolutely no sense to me since an A/C vacuum test is the industry standard for diagnosing an A/C’s condition BEFORE putting in any Freon. When I confronted him about that John got extremely belligerent, defensive and argumentative with me as though that would make me disappear off the phone. I told him that they must get a lot of customer complaints to respond like that and that I was not happy about wasting $124 for them to destroy my compressor or expose me and my family to dangerous gasses from the leak they knew about. He didn’t try to offer a resolution or solution to the problem they caused.I ended up having to purchase a brand new A/C compressor and getting the system refill done properly at another shop. The mechanic at the other shop said that the old compressor was mechanically fine but the internal seals were blown out from the system being over filled. Once I learned that it all pretty much made sense. These people at this shop will mess your car up and then lie to you to cover their behinds. No doubt I will be taking them to court over this.* I also forgot to mention that they deliberately have also held my service receipt so I have no copy of the work they performed even though I have called and asked them to mail it to me several times now. How shadier can you get?

They do not honor appointments made on line. Had a confirmed appointment at noon and my car wasnt done, two front tires, until 5:30 pm. The manager actually told me my car was the last of the day when I showed up at 5 to pick it up and I still had to wait. They also removed my custom valve covers and did not put them on the new tires. I will not be going back and would not recommend them to anyone.

Love this place. Specifically, the Middletown location. I would recommend to all my friends. They are the best group of people and I trust them.One example: They made a mistake and charged full price on a tire replacement for which I had roadside hazard. It was closing time, and the gentleman said hed talk to the manager about it.I called the next morning, and after only saying hello, he addressed me by name and said he was in the process of taking care of the refund. I did not have to explain anything. By far, the best customer service of anywhere.

Horrible Business Ordeal. They Said I Can Have My Car Towed To Them Friday Evening And Saturday They’d Look At It. Called Them Saturday, They Told Me They Had Just My Key And Never Checked Their Drop Box Where My Contact Info And The Issue With The Car Were. They Said To Leave It Over Night So They Can Work On It Sunday And They’d Call, They Never Called. Then Monday I Get A Call Saying “Sorry Nothing We Can Do, The Rear Is Jacked Up Mise Well Sell The Car.” And When I Kept Asking What Part Of The Rear, They Kept Saying “The Rear, The Rear.” So I Got My Car Towed To A Different Auto Shop And They’re Working On It With No Issue And No, It’s Not The Rear.

After significant planning, including self-quarantining, securing negative pre-trip Covid-19 test results, and going above and beyond to adhere to all public safety guidelines, my wife and I drove more than 500 miles to ring in the New Year with our son, daughter-in-law, and 1-year old grandson. Unfortunately, en route to our visit we apparently ran over something quite large and extremely sharp and our tire sustained significant damage that Fix-A-Flat couldnt repair. We were forced to drive the last 150 miles of the trip with our spare donut tire and arrived after the NYE ball had already dropped on the East Coast. Although, of course, we were unable to get our vehicle serviced ANYWHERE on New Years Day, the Mr. Tire location in Middletown, Delaware scheduled our tire replacement to take place as the first available appointment when their facility opened on January 2nd.The young man at the front desk was polite and courteous, despite being incredibly busy, took the time to ensure that he had the same make and model of tire in stock to match the other three tires on my vehicle (which I had just replaced within the last few months). Their prices were affordable, and their skilled technicians removed the damaged tire and mounted and balanced the new tire, had me back on the road in approximately 30 minutes.Based on this experience, when I get back home I will absolutely give our local Mr. Tire franchise the opportunity to keep our business now that the Middletown Mr. Tire has earned it. Kudos to the Middletown Mr. Tire staff!

Made a 3p appointment for 10-10-20 on 10-06-20. Received a confirmation e-mail shortly after then a reminder on 10-08-20. Arrived at 3p on the dot. The associate (who was not wearing a mask) informed me that I can’t make an appointment using the website, that I should have called the store and that they were completely booked for the day. I had used the Mr. Tire website to select tires that were in stock at that location and was given a price quote. The associate informed me that the online price quote could not be honored because the store pricing is different. I wound up leaving and making an appointment with a Chevy dealer in my area to have the work completed. Save yourself the time and frustration. Go elsewhere.

We schedule by phone for AM work and drop off our vehicle the night before... when theyre done we get a call. Never had a problem.

I had a flat tire the other day. After my husband kindly helped me change my flat with the spare on the side of the road, we immediately dropped it off at night to Mr. Tire. They called the next day and had everything ready to go in a matter of hours. I was super grateful. Great, speedy service!

We had to get the tires on our work truck changed. Apparently the last place that put them on gave us retreads!! So Mr. Tire hooked us up! I hope the guy that was taken out by ambulance is ok!!

I shopped online for 4 tires and had a price from their website. When I called for confirmation and to schedule I was told the price was $64 higher because I was required to replace the TPMS sensor. 1. This is an absolutely unnecessary and it isnt required. 2. On their own pricing page, it shows it can be reset.I wont speak to motive but if they dont know this part, how can you trust anything else they say?

Made an appointment on Saturday for 9:30am Monday. Upon arriving, I am informed that my appointment was changed to 2pm Tuesday. I needed my tire repaired so that my wife could go to work Tuesday morning and I couldnt wait until 2pm Tuesday. Fortunately, the gentleman behind the counter recommended Diamond Town, who was able to repair it while I waited.They will be my first choice f tu om now on.

This has been my go to place for over 15 years! I always come to this location for my oil change or other needed services. The Customer Service is exceptional! They go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I’m always greeted with a smile and they make sure to take good care of you while you wait! I usually call in for appointments and they have always been very polite and professional!

Friendly service. Prices are not that clear. Theres a basic install and an upgraded lifetime install. I was charged for the lifetime install and really wanted the basic package, but went back the next day and was credited for the difference. Thank you for making things right!

This is my second experience at this Mr. Tire, and I have been very pleased! A few years back, they put a new set of tires on my older model car, and they were very knowledge about how to handle the make and model. In my most event experience, I received two new tires and had a wheel alignment. They walked me through each part of the process and took the time to explain to me what exactly was being done. I would recommend!

I went in today for an oil change the tech immediately noticed my tire was flat and made me aware of the situation. After looking over the tires he saw a large cut around the inside of it. I am so thankful for them looking out for me. I am a single mother of two and do a lot of driving! I was only in need of two tires and they suggested a Yokohama tire after driving home I realized what a difference great tires can make especially when it was raining!!! Thank you so much to the tech and Cindy for the great service!!!

Nice, professional and prompt. The tab was less than I was quoted, and they managed to cram me in on a Friday night, even though I was 20 minutes late for my appointment. You really can’t ask for anything else.

I always have my oil changed here. The price cannot be beat. They send me coupons in the mail for $9.99 oil changes! The employees are very nice. The waiting room is clean and has a TV to pass the time.

Had I been able to give a zero I would have. Customer service is horrible. Bought four brand new tires less then three months ago had an alignment done and now the front tires are unsafe and dangerous to even drive on. Took my vehicle back basically got told sorry about your luck you didn’t purchase road hazard uhmmm road hazard was explained to me as nuts, screws, bolts and road debris not premature tire failure due to quality. Needless to say won’t be shopping here again.

Me Tire has competitive pricing and great customer service. They saved me $225.00 yesterday on a set of tires. They also showed me that one of my front rims was bent. I purchased the rim. When I called them to install it. They fit me right in!

I do all my own car work and it takes allot for me to take my car to a shop. Unfortunately Wheel Balancing and Front End Alignment i cant do in my garage. Had a 1pm appointment. Was there on time. Place was busy. Took them about a half hour to get to my car and them another hour to do the work. I am super picky when it comes to my car. The alignment is dead on and I a very happy with their work. Price was good I thought.

Took the time to replace my trailer tire and fit me in without an appointment. Had to drop off and then pick up. Great customer service. Went to hook up the trailer and a mechanic in the garage helped me back it up to the hitch without me even asking. Sure the owner of this Mr. Tire treats its employees well it reflects in their attitude towards its customers.

These guys will treat you and your vehicle with respect and care. This is the only place I go, theyre that good! And they dont over charge you, they are always reasonable!

Everyone here is extremely helpful. I always take my car here for my car maintenance.Just this past Easter holiday I was in a bit of a pinch with a flat mower tire. Unfortunately I didnt have a pump at home that was able to inflate the tire to the rim.As a last ditch effort I took the tire up the road to Mr Tire and asked if they could help me inflate the tire.I know they were swamped and it was 10 minutes to close, but the guy that came out of the auto bay really saved my day and re rimmed the tire for me without charge.They really helped out when I needed it, and when they had every right to turn me away.

Never trust their 5 star rating because its not from real customers. Over $1000 for a break job. Overcharged on labor and parts that didnt need replacing. You better shop around before considering this ripoff place.

Went to mr tire the night before my trip to get last minute oil change done close to closing time. The store manager kept the store open longer so that I could get in and out. Very happy that I was able to leave early this morning. Will be back for tires and brakes!! Thanks mr tire!!

This is my second time at Mr. Tire in Middletown. I had another great experience! Very friendly place and nothing feels rushed when you have a few questions or some special requests. They did an excellent job mounting 4 tires and doing a 4 wheel alignment. The car was done exactly when they said it would be as well. The wheels on my VW are black and they used black wheel weights which was a very nice touch. I will be going back for future needs for sure. Thank you!

John and Cindy are awesome and provide outstanding customer service. We have been going to them for years and through several generations of vehicles. Even our kids use them for their car maintenance and service. Top rate customer service, done right the first time.

The only reason Im giving a 3 star is because of the $60.00 inner tie rod end. I know for a fact that I could get all 4 rod ends and the adjusting sleeves for the same price. I will say that Im a very pleased and satisfied with how the alignment turned out on a my K1500, and will continue to have them align all my vehicles, as the need arises.

Both of the Johns were extremely helpful and kind. I came in without an appointment with a pretty extensive issue and they not only managed to look at my vehicle but they also had it fixed before the day was out!
