Love this comic book store! Stop here once a month with my two little girls trying to spark there interest. Never fails! They are always so excited to read there new comic books every time.

The store itself is nice but the owner is unreasonable and rude, he kept acting like asking a question or making an offer on something unreasonably priced was an affront to his personal space. It has a nice selection but let’s hope some competition opens up soon as this store owner is jot very user friendly.

My favorite place to visit for years, Pete and Alyssa are a great pair for all of your suggestions and queries all things comics. Go visit them and have your family invested in treasured memories new and old.

My friend and I are absolute noobs when it comes to comics. There were two people working there and they were both incredibly kind. The female employee complimented my friends purple hair, making her feel at ease when walking in. I have to say, this store is incredibly organized, even compared to the big league stores in the state like Midtown Comics in the city. Everything is in alphabetical and numerical order, making it super easy for beginners to find what theyre looking for. I grabbed a ton of stuff, as did my friend, and while checking out, the man at the front desk looks through my pile, commenting: Youve got some really good stuff here. This made me feel not only excited by the store, but confident in joining the comic scene and more likely to buy comics in the future (especially from here). I could not recommend this place more. Its truly incredible.

Just got screwed over on golden age boards that Pete claims he squared up with me. I bought these boards well over a year ago and they were warped. I ended up bringing them back a few months later to exchange them, but all of his boards are always warped. I handed the boards back to him and he said he would give new ones when they came in. So today I went there and asked for store credit to use towards another purchase. Pete refused stating there was nothing in the system so we mustve done an even exchange. So he basically made it seem like a loyal customer of 10+ years lied to him. Ive spent thousands of dollars in that place despite marked up prices and the poor quality of product including the comic books themselves, but today was the last straw. Youre wrong Pete, and youre not even man enough to admit you made a mistake. I guess 10+ years of loyalty means nothing to you. Just ask yourself, was it worth it to rob me of a few dollars because you didnt want to replace a product that you sold me knowing it was faulty? Shame on you. Thats a very shady move. You know how to contact me if you decide to make things right, but I wont hold my breath on that.

This shop has it all. Even a handful of #1 issues of the most popular titles are still in stock. Friendly workers and a clean operation.

Ive recently started collecting again after a 30 year hiatus. The staff at Main Street Comics have been extremely helpful and informative not to mention friendly. This is definitely my store of choice.

I always hit this place for my comic needs. They have a huge stock of new and old comics as well as books board games and tons of Pops. Service is great and the atmosphere is awesome.

Pete and his staff are great. If you dont see what you are looking for they check to see if they can order it. Pull list is so easy, just walk in and theres what you need.

While I havent been to much comic book stores, I love this comic book store. When I am in the city and decide to go to Midtown Comics, I always have the sense of man, it would be nice to go to Main Street Comics. I miss this store when I cant go, and I love everything about it.

This is an ok comic shop, lots of goodies but I would not make this my local shop. Prices are a bit marked up for sketch covers, but to be fair they are a small owned shop. They have a member club that offer no discount something they should just do away with. Just moved up here but I rather go else where or order my books off Midtowncomics. Staff is always polite but just not for me.

Nice accessories and books but Ive been to cheaper shops that sold classics for $1 instead of 6 but everything else was in letter order and easy to find.

Ive been coming here for years but after todays experience I dont think Ill be back. Ive spent a lot of money here and pick up multiple issues of the same comic all the time to keep one and send the other to a friend of mine who doesnt have any shops in his town. Today I came in for Walking Dead 192 (which my father had just picked up 2 of the blank cover versions on Saturday without a problem however he forgot the normal version as well) so I drove over 40 minutes out today with a couple of friends to pick up a couple copies of the normal version as well as an additional blank cover to get sketched at comic con. I was told they were one per customer so I handed one to each of my friends to have separate transactions if it was that big of a deal. The cashier then snapped at us saying he didnt appreciate that and said hed just do it all at once. Very rude experience at what I thought was a decent comic shop. If the man sees this, I would like to apologize if it came off the wrong way but I am simply trying to help a fellow comic fan out. As we both know comic shops are becoming very hard to come by. Hope my intentions were clear.

Very friendly staff. I have lived in the city my entire life and recently relocated to Highland Mills New York. I was joyful when I discovered main street comics. I found all of my comics, did not pay extra for back issues, and they had an excellent collection of statues, which I took advantage of. When I am in the city I visit Midtown comics but save my money for this local shop. On a personal note Peter and his staff had a beautiful comic book cover with the Puerto Rican flag in support of the disaster that occurred there. When I asked for support for my fundraiser for my family in Puerto Rico, Peter allowed me to post it on the companys facebook page. If that is not caring for your customers then I do not know what is.

They are a great place to get new comics and are very friendly. Im there every Wednesday!

I enjoyed coming to this shop, the staff was nice, and they were always able to help me when I needed it. There is also a large amount of variety.

Big? Yes . Clean? Yes. Rip off .. omg yes. First bought 4 of the comics behind the counter and 2 out of 4 missing pages. They wouldnt let me take out of the bag to look at. Okay so i cant take out but they arent checking themselves to see if complete. I guess its my fault but we are talking a 300 comic and a 240 comic that they were asking full price for and werent complete. When tried to return. They said we cant take back, what if a switched it?. Anyway beware of a shop that wont let you take a comic out of the bag and also charges 4 times book price for current issues. Joke of a place and the worst run worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Greedy overpriced store which means now im limited to Ebay.
